I wish the camera would focus on the model while makeup is being applied, not on the artist looking at the model...we'd learn so much more.

Lisa Eldridge has several terrific tutorials for older women on her CZcams channel, and she has terrific camera angles and shows how to apply the makeup, with the focus on the model, naming the specific different kinds of brushes etc. , often using less expensive brands. Her vlogs are really all age appropriate.
Wishing a real woman 50 + had been chosen, with pouches and stretched eyelids which is what we really have to deal with at our age. This woman is beautiful, bless her, and totally unrealistic.
The professional tips are so important. ..👍
Brilliant
It looks like Rosy Tan (No. 254) 5 Couleurs by Dior. I have that palette and the one in the video looks exactly like it.
Such a pity the focus was more on the make-up artist instead of the face of the model! That way we could actually see how the make-up artist goes about creating the look rather than just hearing about it. Otherwise, great tips!
What a great video! :) Keep up the good work ;) Hugs from Sweden
Which palette is that?
is it Rosy Tan? Looks very similar
I also though of Rosy Tan
Unfortunately Dior stopped making good quints a few years ago.. the ingredients and quality is like Wet n Wild's current formula but drier/more clay looking on the eyes. I believe the company downgraded everything significantly but raised prices.
Wow is that model over 50? She looks fantastic and much younger.
Great video but I think you need to use different camera and lighting people - it's a pity to hear Mary Greenwell's awesome advice but not be able to clearly see what she is doing on the model.
I agree. We so not see the model enough.
the lighting was bad. the angle of the camera on the model should of been centered not off to the side. and what cosmetics were used?
Watching the artist talk wasn't helpful. I have no idea how she actually did it.
Why doesn't she apply eyeliner on the lady?
The model looks like a combination of Julia Roberts and Jessica Biel
Yes, the model is the key visual. Very frustrating watching the artist 90% of the shoot.
A challenging face of a 50 year old woman who has lines and puffy eyes and the usual regular defects would be more like us who are watching. This model has no wrinkles or jowls and she looks 35.
If this model is over 50 I'll eat my hat
Mary is so patronising in her conviction
Camera should be on a model, not on the artist.
Not helpful at ALL. .i would love to see the model not the hostess. .
