No offense to my British cousins but i don't care what time of year it is our how sunny it always looks cold, grey and gloomy there. Prefect for castles, knights and the occasional burning at the stake. Lovely indeed. Thanks for taking us along.

Your happy accidents will always be on top of the memories. Interesting scenery and architecture. Could easily spend a week sketching there. Fun!!
There was certainly a sketchbook full of opinions to draw! I think I made the right choices for myself on the day…. But maybe next time I’ll be brave enough the tackle to main house!

Such a lovely video - helpful information regarding Urban Sketching (the realities: finding a place to sit with a good view, twisting around, getting cold, etc) as well as gorgeous views of a place that I will probably never get to see in person, and so wish that I could. Madam, copy machines we are not. We are creatives. I love your work. Please don't allow prefect be the enemy of the good. Your work is appealing to the eye, very recognizable, thought provoking and stirs emotion. If say that puts you light years above 98% of the so- called artists today. Most of which would have tossed down a few scribbles, added some goofy eye poppingly vibrant color and called it a masterpiece. All while no one, not even they themselves could recognize what in the hell they just "painted". Maybe don't be so critical of yourself. Constructively yes, but not harshly. You do good work.
Thank you! I try and be realistic about what I draw. I see the “faults” but also try and focus on it as a way of storing memories and I enjoy the process.
