I've heard this song hundreds of times and still get chills every time he sings, "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave."
"They stab it with their steely knives but they just can't kill the beast."
This song was a tribute to the hotel the hollyweird elites use to gather in their satanic ritualistic killing of babies at the hotel in hollyweird where they initiated those who are/were willing to sell their souls to the devil for fame, fortune & glory, only to realize & regret it much later when it was too late. Don’t believe me. Research it outside of the msm sources! It’s all by design! Those are super rich & famous sold their souls! Think about it! How do you really think they got there??? Coincidence, luck, talent??? Some talent is good. It isn’t enough. One pays to play in hollyweird! It was all designed to distract one from the true nature of a God-given birth right of creativity called human being! Hu=Light; man=Given! Investigate for yourself. We literally live in The Matrix!
Why does every so-called musical artist use the 440 Hz frequency, instead of the harmonic God-creative frequency of 432Hz. 440Hz is a destructive freq mandated by the Rockefellers in the early daze of hollyweird.
@@manojtopiwala7454 Must.......collect..ur....soul...
In other words, when one becomes overindulged in the way of California life, the fast paced music industry, fame and fortune and all the good and not so good that comes along with it all, you want to get away but your collective subconscious pulls you right back simultaneously
best classic rock of all time!!!!
Great reaction Kerry. Legendary song by great band. Thank you dear.
The way Jo Walsh and Don Felder talk to each other on guitar to close out that song is a masterpiece. It's arguably the greatest instrumental conversation in the history of music.
Agreed! IMO Joe Walsh is one of the most under rated guitarist in rock music, the guy is the best!
I would call you captain obvious, but that would be disrespectable. My hat is off to you Sir.
Quite correct, although I don't see how there is much argument against your assertion.
... in der Geschichte der geistlichen Musik.
I love that you can see in their faces how much they enjoy playing. I really enjoy seeing the artists themselves having fun, enjoying the music they make.
The Eagles is the top selling band in the history of the United States. You've stumbled upon a legendary group with so many good hits. You really can't go wrong with them, and I hope you react to more. Lyin' Eyes, Desperado, Take it Easy, etc. So many epic songs from these guys.
P
Basically, choose any song from any album, sit back, and enjoy
you, twat. like you would know......Iwas listening to the Eagles before your brain was developed enough to comprehend your pending arrogance
Joe. Walsh is who I play best we have the same back ground just a little younger he taught me how to use a slide he has a slide dickey Betts gave him.
Wow, nice to see a younger generation get into the Eagles. One of my most favorite bands when I was growing up.
A lot of younger folks know these songs because we were at our parents parties!!
Every time -- I am so pleased and DELIGHTED to see young people "discover" this music for themselves.
This is a masterpiece. When it comes to the greatest song of all time, this one is definitely in the discussion.
Kerry, I love your selection of songs for your reactions. I love the Eagles. Glad you enjoyed this banger. This song was basically the soundtrack to my very early years in the late seventies. Keep them coming. You’re gorgeous and I genuinely love your reactions.
From the Little River Band website: "The Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey, knew what he was saying when he dubbed Little River Band, 'the best singing band in the world.'" Frey purportedly said LRB had perfect harmonies. That's high praise.
He would know. And LRB did have great harmonies.
In my opinion, the greatest song ever written. The meaning of the song has been interpreted numerous times, and its never been figured out. Its the best on so many levels, and it has stood thru many generations. I am glad you liked it! Thank you!
I don't know what my absolute favorite song of all time is....but this is in the top three.
Facts!
That happens when you write a song when high you don’t remember what the interpretation was supposed to be so you play it off for 40 years and keep your fans in the dark. Lol.
you grooving to one of the greatest songs of all times just made my day
Be careful with the Eagles. Whoever owns the copyright goes after reactors.
Not The Eagles It's their Label Who Put down the reactions
@@speedster18you don’t think Don Henley’s greedy ass ain’t behind the takedowns lol?
@@josebustamante9182 no
@@speedster18 you must not be familiar with Don Henley and glen frey then
@@josebustamante9182 sure
She knows it, she is singing it, damn she is beautiful ❤️
yup, definitely not the first time hearing it lmao
She was reading the closed captioning... ;-)
she sees the lyrics i thought the same thing lol the 70s were such a great time
You can't sing the word to a song you've never heard before
@@jamesblank4115 Unless the melody is obvious and you are literally reading the lyrics on the screen.
I was 21 and everybody was singing this song, the Eagles were king !!! Loved this Kerry :)
You are not getting a date.
@@acornsucks2111 *He just complimented her (which ain’t wrong) and “complimenting” doesn’t mean "expressing your romantic feelings" every time (I admit that there are many people who compliment for indirectly expressing their feelings or in simple words they do unsuccessful attempts with such intention, but it's not in every case).*
Amazing song. There is a reason it's a classic song. The beat is unmistakable.
Kerry, thank you for the great reaction. This one came out when I was still in high school, and it always amazes me how fresh it can still sound. And how someone from your generation can still see the same things in it that I did many decades ago. "I Can't Tell You Why" is also a great song from them. It's more singer-oriented. Keep up the good work.
70's music is awesome. I am glad to see you listening to it.
The Eagles are so very awesome! I love this song. Love your reaction!
ANO !!!! NEJLEPSI !!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loved your reaction! Eagles broke up in 1980 and reunited in 1994. they did a concert series and album called "Hell Freezes Over"... their Hotel California version on that album is awesome as well, and tempered a little by their age and maturity...it's worth a listen as well!
I was just going to mention that. I would like to suggest to Kerry that she listen to the acoustic version of this song. It's very powerful as well.
Magnificent performance, lovely reaction from a beautiful girl. I'm more than happy. Thank you!
Mal wieder was lesen? Bastei-Romane? ("Herr Doktor Schöneisen...!" - "Ja, Schwester Rosie...?" - "Sie sind so...!" - "Aber nicht doch, Schwester Rosie...!" ...)
My God Kerry, you've opened up the cover to the Eagles rabbit-hole at the perfect place. This band is deservedly in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and has dozens of amazing songs. To get an idea of their vocal prowess try out "Seven Bridges Road", an acapella song they used to warm up to.
This is a great song, you look so pretty hearing it
It’s good to see young people like you discovering these classic songs. I’m a rock guitarist for over 30 years and I used to play this song when I used to play in a band many years ago.
Have you subscribed she does many classic song reactions
@@Musicmanrobertyes I subscribed a few weeks ago
first time...LOL
Kerry, I can tell how much you truly enjoyed listening to the Eagles. Yes, they sounded this great live! I was beyond lucky to have seen them in concert years ago. Try "Life in the Fast Lane" next since you enjoy hearing guitars. The Eagles never disappoint!
I love the Eagles but be careful they bad about giving strikes
❤ great reaction thanks
Classic Eagles
The 1960s...and especially, the 70s and 80s were filled with timeless music. The 90s were great too but the music took quite a dark turn. Now, the Eagles are my favorite band so I can tell you straight up you can't go wrong with these dudes. All their stuff is great. Especially songs like: Take It To The Limit, Take It Easy, I Can't Tell You Why, Witchy Woman, and One Of These Nights. Of course, bands like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin were big too. However, if you want something truly different, checkout Granicus. They were a VERY little known band from the 70s with quite a bombastic sound. It's a shame they never really made it big, per se. Anyway, the songs to listen to by them are Paradise and Prayer. Excellent tunes!
The greatest song by one of greatest bands ever assembled.
Absolute Masterpiece.....arguably the greatest rock song of all time....(MAYBE #2 behind "Bohemian Rhapsody") Definitely check out more Eagles......"The Last Resort" is AMAZING......."Desperado", "Life in the Fastlane", "Get Over It", SO SO many GREAT Eagles songs.....plus Don Henley and Glen Frey solo hits......This band and Henley/Frey pushes The Beatles & McCartney/Lennon as the greatest of all time.
I was 7 1/2 years old, and was at this exact concert. This group is what started my love of music and to this day, no matter what city I am in, if they’re coming to town, I’m going to be there.
There are so many great guitarists and I love to hear just how distinctive Joe Walsh''s playing is.
Great group and one of the best songs ever.
Love you Kerry! Keep pumping out great old Classical Americana music!!! 🤩
This came out when I was in California and summed up so much about the culture at the time. Wonderful song by a superb band.
California in the 70s was a paradise.
@@norwegianblue2017I wish I had lived there then. I lived there in the late 80s/early 90s and again in the late 2000s. By 2009 it had degraded into a shell of itself. Now that shell has been broken into millions of little pieces.
@@BillGreenAZ Yeah, the explosion of crime in the 90s and the LA riots really took California to a bad place. But overall it was still pretty great, if no longer a 'paradise'. 2000s is where we started to see California go from being somewhat more expensive to WAY more expensive for working families. But the state went full retard after Trump got elected in 2016 and doubled-down in 2020.
@@norwegianblue2017yeah, the Real Estate bust affected California more than other states with over 10% unemployment. I knew the writing was on the wall when that happened so I moved out. That's not to mention the traffic.
The last time I visited a couple years ago, even the palm trees on the sides of the freeways weren't trimmed and had dead branches hanging on. That never happened even just a few years ago. It's degrading into a sh!thole state.
It's so great to see young people finding the music I listened to when I was young I'm 80 years old Now,
Love this song, incredible band. Remember when this came out as a kid.
Eagles. One of the nights.
This was our favorite song growing up in the 1970s in New York. Brings back do many memories with my friends.
WAS AT THIS CONCERT IN OTTAWA, CANADA…. OUTDOORS
FENOMINAL SOUND, CHILLIWACK WAS THE START…. GREAT COMBO FOR A WARM SUMMERS EVENING … ROCK ON KERRY 👊🖖
Great pick Kerry, Eagles had so much talent in there band...✌🏼
Cool seeing Randy Meisner on the far left playing bass and singing. He sings lead on the song TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT.
Don Felder and Joe Walsh, two of the best guitar players of all time. A classic that never grows old.
Sorry my friend, but I have to disagree with the “ two of the best “ remark. But I agree with the song is a timeless masterpiece. Many young or old guitar players could and would wipe the floor with both of them. The difference of it, how you manage or publish any songs. And because they are an American band, it’s a down deal about your remark about them. The time they introduced this song to the world, America was on the top of commercial BS. So, every radio stations was payed to say all the best about it. We have to see behind the curtain, which started to be look trough lately. Profit kills the senses, or follow the money, which in this case brings dark clouds about the Eagles. Joe left them because he got little as just a guitarist of this song but it turned out that he was one of the co-writer of the song. Unfortunately the other guitarist couldn’t take the pressure and kicked the bucket. We have to see the whole picture which in this song case it just a started scetch.
@@bubamaranovichok4901 For the 70s they were pretty fuckin amazing lmao.
It is pure joy to see someone like Kerry affected by these songs the way many of us were when we first heard them. Of course she's not doing what we were, drinking beers and gettin stoned! lol
"Maybe we'll open another good band" What an understatement.
Stunning
Great reaction - I loved your sincere energy. One of my favorite songs too!
its like deja vu all over again
I got to see them in September of 2022 and they still sound GREAT!!! You need to explore more of their songs: Take it to the Limit, 7 Bridges Road, and One of These Nights are just a few of their hits. They had many many more.
Went to the tour part 2 on July 25 1978 INSANE the sound was Crystal clear
You saying eagles got me to subscribe.
God Bless America.
Welcome to the US!!
Superb lyrics superb song superb guitar riffs just superb the best 70s song ever
Eagles - Desperado!! Great song! I think you will love it. Also, One of These Nights.
THE BEST! I loved going to those concerts
I was 27 and the they were a top world band during their tenure.! This song was a cover for a ton of bands. Their entry into the R&R Hall of fame was great to watch.
Great song .... and "such a lovely face"!
THIS song, all by itself, displays what the Eagles are all about. It's their defining song. Many may disagree with me, but when the Eagles come to mind this song is what I hear in my head.
Will somewhat agree with you. This is the standard for this version of the Eagles. In the original lineup, which played a slighly more country-ish style of music, I would say Desperado would be that definative song.
Great reaction try this one, Heart - Crazy On You (Live, 1978)
I love that you are doing this to learn all kinds of old and great music, Love to see you here.
Some dance to remember.. Some dance to forget.. 🤯
Can't control my foot tapping...one of the best songs ever written, and performed...amazing...
Love your reaction! Its been my favourite song for over 40 years 🙂
"I hope you find what you're looking for." That's what this song has always kind of said to me - more beautifully than any other song ever composed.
That is a great song the good old days
The 2nd most recognizable Song in the World from just the opening chords ... 1st being "Happy Birthday".
You just listened to one of the best rock songs in American history! I love watching you react to different songs!
I was 15 yrs old when Hotel California was released. Loved then and still love it at almost 63 years old. Still Rocks!!
I bet your grandparents & parents listened to these guys broadcast from pirate radio stations on the Black Sea!
She knows this song. I had a Russian girlfriend from a mid-sized city in the Urals. She knew every American classic rock song and she was born in 1986. She even knew Santana as I pointed out Carlos sitting in a cafe in Sausalito as we were walking by. I've travelled to over 50 countries and all the locals know these classic songs, young or old.
@@Cfrancis1968 Cool!
One of the all-time great songs, plain and simple
Mr. Joe Walsh the super guitarist. amazing man. Amazing song.
I agree with the copyright comment. These artists should applaud commenters for keeping their old music alive.
Great song. Great Band. One of the special qualities of the "Eagles" was "Live" they sounded just the same as on their albums. Very few bands do. Their greatest hits album is awesome.
If you ever get a chance, check out a band called "Steely Dan". If you do here's some of their songs - "Peg", "Black Cow", "Aja", "Kid Charlemagne", "Deacon Blues", "My Old School", "Hey Nineteen", "Babylon Sisters", "FM", "Don't Take Me Alive". Maybe you might like their music. They're from 70's and early 80's.
Great song great reaction
60s and 70s was the greatest music that will ever be created again
MY GOD BUT YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
You are so nice....Thank you....
What a great performance!.. I had never seen the Eagles before until I saw them in late 2021 on their "Hotel California" tour. One of the best performances I've seen including the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and a full choir!. It included the original director/arrangment directing the orchestra live on stage. It was so good I have seen them 4 more times since. 5 times in 3 years!
I recommend you go see these guys before it is too late. This current tour "The Long Goodbye" is suppose to be their "final tour". Don't delay!
Heart of the matter … trust me on this
It’s a perfect song
In '77 I was 23 and the Eagles were my favorite band an still are.❤
The return to my youth , I use to listen to them as a teenager constantly, saw them at the Capital Center. Me and my wife
Great Reaction to a wonderful song by a top class Group:The Eagles.
I saw them back in 1996 on the hell freezes over tour in Charlotte, North Carolina what an awesome band!
Bella Kerry Tries ❤, Amazing song
If you love this then you'll love Seven Bridges Road! By the Eagles too!
Nightwish.....Everdream...you will love it
Good Band? GREAT BAND!
IT, s my favorite song. The acoustic versión on 1994 is good too.
everyone tells me to stop suggesting this, because it will get blocked. and yet there are just dozens and dozens of reactions to it posted. awesome. this is a must-listen to song from the golden 70's.
Great concert
Kerry we love seeing you enjoy the music so much.
My all my favorite!!! Popular everywhere!
I would name this the non official U.S. anthem !!! many great songs here in the U.S. but is the ONE #1 !!!
Hotel California - one of the best R & R songs of all time!
You are on your way to being a monster hit on CZcams. You jump out of the screen, AND you don't stop and start the songs as do many others doing this type of music review. Well done. 👏👏👏👏👏
The Eagles are a great band they put out a lot of good music
Such a surreal experience watching a video of a beautiful song being appreciated by a beautiful woman. Her visual beauty of expressions and reactions to the auditory beauty just make this video an amazing experience. Subscribed for the chance of more amazing experiences. No idea if Kerry is a good person or not, but her videos of her beautiful face reacting to great works of musical art are awesome.
One of the best songs of all time, you have a good taste for this type of music
