I don't know if it's called a duet. I hear a lot of people referring to it as harmony. I am playing that ending on my guitar every day, just one part of the harmony. I am not good at all, but I am still playing it because I love this song so much. I never get tired of hearing it or playing it.

This is arguably their most well known song EVER! I’ve been an Eagles fan since the late 70s and for Christmas this year my wonderful wife got me a signed copy of the album with a silver record of Glenn Frey on the front. They’re a band I’ve never been able to see. On guitar you have Don Felder and the guy in the bandanna is Joe Walsh who in 1980 ran for president. This band has over 50 years of massive hits! If you wanna delve deeper into the genius of the Eagles check out some live stuff from their Hell Freezes Over tour or their show in Melbourne Australia. The double guitar you’re asking about, one guitar is a normal 6 string guitar and the other is a 12 string which adds multiple strings of the same note. You can’t go wrong with anything they do young buck.

Yes, the double neck guitar allows a player to switch sounds, like moving from a six string, to a twelve string without changing instruments. Joe Walsh in the red bandana was an awesome guitarist even before he joined the Eagles.
This was a GREAT reaction vid. There was some incredible groups in the 70s and 80s! Thanks to today's reaction videos, they live on!

I hope you look and listen to the music from the 60's through the 80's you'll see that the songs in these generations are timeless. Music brings everyone together.😊😊 Keep the great reactions coming.

This one song is, quite possibly, the signature song of the Eagles. Some others may pick other songs from different eras of the band, but I think this one song spans their entire history and defines them and their talents best. One comment from me; I cannot believe that you have never seen a double-neck guitar before. You need to expand your horizons!

The first was made for Joe Maphus a Country Western guitarist back in the early 1950's. You can see him playing with Wanda Jackson in 1958 doing Hard Headed Woman and also with the Collins Kids doing duets with Larry Collins playing his double neck in 1959 Larry collins and Joe Maphis play live Ramrod. Check out those titles. The Collins Kids are about forgotten now but they were big and TV and cutting records before Elvis had been heard about.

There will never again be music like there was in the 70s. I'm so glad I was alive to hear it during that time. It's still nice to hear it several decades later. I have to get out my system so i can listen to all the many vinyls I have dating back from the 1960s. I just need the speakers since they've been misplaced over the years. I'm glad I'm only missing the speakers.

I discovered the Eagles much later in life and I absolutely adored them. They came to Australia one time but the guy with the double fretboard guitar didnt come. I was ready to head out to Brisbane to see them but with him out of the band, I gave up on the idea. A great DVD of the Eagles was "WHen Hell Freezes Over'' because when asked if they would reform after disbanding that was the answer "When Hell Freezes Over' but thank goodness they did and this DVD is the concert where they reunited.

Double neck guitar - Stevie Ray and brother Jimmie Vaughn playing "Pipeline".
The guy in the bandana, Joe Walsh -
    "Funk #49"
    "Rocky Mountain Way"
    "Life's Been Good"
