I am 83, and I still love Zeppelin
I'm 70, I was just in an op shop in Sydney's Blue Mountains today. Over the speakers they were playing a Bowie song - We Can Be Heroes. There was a woman standing next to me, she must have been in her eighties, singing the lyrics. I was really captured by that moment and some hours later, I saw your comment. Couldn't resist sharing. :) BTW, I saw LZ in 1973. Totally lit. :)
All of geezers collectively gasped when he said he'd never heard of Led Zeppelin. One of the best bands - EVER. I still blast it in my car.
I know I did! Lmfao! I guess 50 is the new geezer! 😢😂
Right on!!!!
My kids stole my discs!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 spot on! I’m 63.
Reminds me of the time I heard a kid say he didn’t know Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings.
68. A privilege to grow up with the best music ever.
Amen to that
He’ll ya!
Oh my GOD! I am SO HAPPY !!! I am 62, born in '62, and grew up listening to Zep, and to see someone from this generation getting into this,....kid, THANK YOU! It is so cool to see you like this!
Yes, same!
Always thought that zep were from some other realm ❤❤❤❤
U said it !!.This is REAL GUTS AND GLORY 1970'S ROCK AND ROLL. I'M IN MY SIXTIES AND PROUD BEING A BOOMER. MY KIDS GREW UP LISTENING TO ALL THE GREAT ROCK AND WILL TELL YOU HOW MUCH THEY LOVE IT. WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT TIME BACK AGAIN GOING TO GREAT CONCERTS
When he said "This is the best band I've ever heard....I've never heard anything like this!" 10,000 Boomers just stood up with iPhones lit up like lighters. I'm so happy to have grown up with this music. LOVE seeing young kids like this discover it. It is a thrill like hearing again for the first time.
"10,000 Boomers just stood up with iPhones lit up like lighters". Perfect. As an archetypal Boomer, it made me laugh and a little sad that we shall not see their like again. Thank you
Gen X and hell yes, my phone was lit!
I can't imagine someone not ever hearing this
@@cherylcarpenter4698 It's a generational thing.
I am 65 and I do not listen to the radio and so I know absolutely nothing about what music is popular today. I'm sure there is good and bad, just like it's always been but I prefer my own choices.
This was the exact moment this child became a man ~
Actually, I envy this guy. Can you imagine hearing Led Zeppelin for the first time? That's why I like these reaction videos.
💯
Yeah, its fun watching the youngsters discovering the stuff I came of age to.
Same here
Of course, It's like experiencing all over again. Reason why we value are kids... New great experiences are the best and when you run out of new ideas experience life through someone else's eyes
Yes !!!!
He’s so nice and open minded. And I can see this baby’s mind is blown! Old people rock.
“ This song give me sensation in my soul,” YOU HAVE BEEN ZEPPELINED!!!
My favorite band since 1969. I'm glad you like them. I'm 77 years old and my house still rocks with their music.
Damn right...70 year old gramma here. 😉
Absolute class never dies. Yes still sounds brilliant, great to see younger generations recognising the brilliance of the music that came out of the 60s and 70s.
Oh hell yes!
Amen, Sistah. For me it’s Led and the Stones!!
OH YEAH!!! Welcome to the GREATEST music of all time.!
This young man just has been baptized in the golden waters of the greatest bands ever! I had the pleasure of seeing them live. His reaction is priceless❤
There were so many good bands back then.
I'm in NZ, when i tell young people i saw Michael Jackson live - they cant believe it, seen floyd, stones, bowie, ACDC etc but Never ZEP. Read somewhere a few years ago talk of a LED ZEP reunion world tour which they reckon wouldv'e grossed over $2 Billion
One of the best concerts I ever attended in 1971, my senior year, at the Amphitheater in Chicago. Premiered Zeppelin IV songs 💙
Wow one of few bands I never even seen. Envious for sure
I am 64 years old and saw them live just before my 13th birthday and remember it often by wondering what the H### was my mother thinking allowing my 20 year old brother to take me and two friends to this concert! Guess she was in denial that he was a chemical dependent😮. However, my friends and I LOVED it!!!
I can't believe there is anyone on this planet that never heard of Led Zeppelin
at least not people that are from the Western world.
Immigrant song is the Minnesota Vikings home game song!
I’m 43, grew up with Led Zeppelin and still get goosebumps every single time.
You were born way too late to grow up with Led Zeppelin. You got to them after they were long done.
@@apollomemories7399 It doesn't matter what year you were born. If you live in a house where Led Zeppelin is played everyday, you grew up with Led Zeppelin.
@@Laniakeayoga OK, but try and imagine going to the shop and buying the album brand new fresh just as it was released. Your experience was nothing like that of my own "growing up with Led Zeppelin". I genuinely did so, you didn't.
I'm 48 also grew up on Led Zeppelin, Rolling stones Jethro Tull and many more, the best music ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm 60, me too !! They are/were friggin brilliant
I am 67 and to see this lad and his reaction to this great band of real musicians was a joy to behold, rock on😊😊😊😊
Same here!!
Im older than you and still rockin‼️💯
I'm 67 as well and saw zeppelin 3 times. Best ever!
Right?
It’s amazing!
What an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to see a young man from the U.S appreciate this.
Lifted my heart!
America is tooooooo self important to appreciate overseas real talent
They made themselves here. Just like many European bands not to left behind The Rolling Stones that became the Biker World American Anthem among Vietnam Vets and generations to follow.
Omgosh!!!! This is AMAZING listening to and watching you being open minded and taking this all in to your soul!!!!!!
You never forget your very first exposure to Led Zeppelin. I was 13, I’m 58 now. I remember the night clearly. It changed my life.
I do remember my first reaction to Led Zeppelin I thought they were just copying Jeff Beck's truth album
“This song gives me some kind of sensation in my soul”.
Excellent way to describe the genius and beauty of Led Zeppelin. Especially as a first time.
It’s so cool to see younger generations appreciate Led Zeppelin.
54 years on this track is as good as it gets.
And Elvis and all the great stuff from 50s-70s. So much fun to see!
I said the same thing,😂
My 9yo son has taken a like to Led Z, Queen, Nirvana och most of all Guns n roses 🌹 he wanted vinyls, rock outfits and posters for his 9th birthday. Love that he is thinking ”out of the box” for being a kid. ❤️ He is a mini Axl Rose now 😂
@@Pinktoolbox He has good taste. From England.
That song is 53 years old. Really. No autotune. No fake bullcrap. Real musicians playing real instruments. It amazes me that people haven't heard this before.
Solid facts, Todd. Raw talent. No BS.
I was a bit young when this was released in 1968. It was playing on the stereo the first time I really enjoyed sex,
This song took a lot of mixing in thr studio,
He’s practically a baby. He wouldn’t know about bands from 50 or 60 years ago unless he was exposed to it by older adults. It would be like a child of the 1960’s knowing about music from 1900. Thank goodness for the internet.
I know you're young but you must have heard of Robert Plant, who also had a solo career.
Watching this young lad's eyes watching Zep is brilliant! It's such a joy to see a young person getting into Zep! Love it.
When The Levee Breaks, another good Zeppelin tune…🎼☮️
Check out the ZEPARELLA cover!
I'm a black man and let me tell you, when this song came out, I WAS ROCKY IT - LOUD. The best rock group song EVER. Play this song around a girl and she knows, what's on your mind. The best part on hearing this song again, was checking you out hearing it for the first time and you loving it.
She always knows that's on your mind ;)
Always gotta mention race what's hour race got to do with anything?
@TomCommoner in the 70's segregation was big but bands like Led Zeppelin's music transcended all of that, it united people all over the world regardless what was happening at the time everyone agreed it was about the music...
"what's race....got to do with anything?'
For one, you might look into how ZEPPELIN and soooo many others took songs originally done by Black artists and built upon them, sometimes word-for-word, note-for-note, and reaped tons of rewards and acclamation for material that wasn't wholly original to them from the start. THEY dug into the race thing.
For two, I don't think @laduoinvestments3749 may have been pointing anything out other than ZEPPELIN appealed to audiences outside of the basically white mainstream who made up most of their audience.@@TomCommoner
I’m a 67 yr old grandma and I loved your reaction! I cannot believe you’ve never heard of Led Zeppelin gasp! It was a treat to share with you. Real talent, real music, enjoy 💕
I’m 67 also! We used to blast this stuff at school!
Same! He’ll never look at grandmas the same again😏
"Real Music" you nailed it there Grandma ( from a Grand Father😉)
I'm 71 and I still blast it!!
Yes! Personally, I think a hot summer’s day like today calls out for “Dazed and Confused” and that thundering bass played just a little loud.
50 years later and Led Zeppelin still blowing people’s minds! 💥💥🎸🎸
I've heard this song thousands of times still get goosbumps everytime. That's special
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Santana, Black Sabbath, The Who, Deep Purple, the Rolling Stones and the list keeps going on and on. The most creative generation of the last century and this century so far.
Damn right!!!
Exactly the best
My kids grew up on all of these and now my grandkids and they love all our music
You are so cute I love watching your rock out to our tunes
Yep
Welcome to real music ,played by real musicians with real talent. No auto tune, nothing but rock and roll.
and real musical insruments & no stage production crap ( taylor swift can you hear me ) & no 'costume' changes
I got this album for my 15th birthday 1970
Try some Grank Funk Railroad too. Another band like this. .. I Drove my mother nuts day after day playing these songs. 40 years later my teen daughter my daughter drove me nuts with ACDC
This is also a great first rock song to listen too.
Truth.
Yes listen to kashmir by them too.
I'm 73 and this is my music and still my favorite. Welcome to the world of great music, my young friend. You will never be the same.
His reaction is everything because I’m a Led Zeppelin fan and I saw that twinkle in his eye 🔥
You will never believe what you missed. There has never been another band like them. I am 75 and they still make me crazy happy.
Try Greta Van Fleet
No Kool aid needed rocks on
I had my older siblings albums of Zeppelin just a couple years ago (Stones) everybody, everyone but threw them out because I couldn't find a needle for my old Hi-fi then found out a month later guy at New Hi-fi store said I probably trashed over $100,000+ in albums. Now if I could only remember where I put my GUN!
Keep rocking and know you'll never be alone
@@bgvsr2952 you got no reaction cause everyone is speechless, I suppose. Want to borrow my knife?
The reason you have never had a reaction like this to anything you listened to before is because Led Zeppelin was a supergroup. There was no one like them. The 4 musicians were so talented that when their drummer died, they disbanded - they couldn't bring in another person. Robert Plant's vocals were bluesy perfection and Jimmy Page was both inventive and heavy in his guitar playing. John Bonham was known as one of the best drummers in the world for his heavy, aggressive beats. And John Paul Jones played a melodic bass plus keyboards. Their music is timeless and transcendent - it feels the same today as it did in the 70's when it came out and it has this otherworldly tinge to it.
Bluest perfection, transcendental snd timeless, facts ❤this music
The best of a era of greatness
Always tickles this Boomer to see great music like this get 'discovered '. We may be Boomers but we had GREAT music!!
The best. Robert Plant still has it. I makw a point to see him whenever he tours. I'm a fool for the new stuff, the solo years and of course, Zeppelin.
I think I've heard every song I've wanted to live except Tall, Cool One. I can die a happy lady if I ever hear him do it live for me 😂
Percussionist (as well!) Finally got to see them in St. Louis, had to sit with my boyfriend's drunk sister throwing up all night in the bathroom. Such a waste! I still hate to think about it. Threw a wake for Bonham when he passed, so harsh!
Led Zeppelin will always be in the top 10.
Wonderful to witness this young man's mind blown along with my own (all over again).
Led Zeppelin: blowing our minds since 1968!
I am 70. I saw them in concert at 17 and again at 20. I have NEVER stopped loving their music. Listen to it several times a week. This is Great Stuff!!
With you. I am 71. Let’s bring our young brother in music which I say with respect and appreciation our music. Lynyrd Skynyrd guys were my friends growing up in west side Jacksonville. Freebird not solo but Allen Collins, Gary Rossington, Steve Gaines each playing their own way.

Me always love them
Saw them at Madison Square Garden I think around 76. They opened with Kashmir.
Ditto! Live they were astounding. ..and REAL.
I dug a lot of weeds to see Led Zeppelin ! Amphitheater in George, Washington. 1994 ?
Led Zeppelin have never been bettered. Still made the hairs stand up on my arms. They rocked in my teens and they still rock in my 60s. Fabulous. Nothing like them.
65 here, I still listen to Zeppelin. LOUD with good speakers. Listen to more from
them as this was just a drop in the bucket! Your reaction brought me smiles of pure JOY!
🙌🏽😎🙌🏿Rock on! 🎸
I’m a 68 year old white boy brother, and it still sends chills down my spine! Thanks dude your awesome you just made made me relive the moment!
I never saw them live, nearly your age and I am reliving the moment too!!!!
There are some great tribute bands out there. I’ve seen Hammer of the Gods, Lez Zeppelin, and Get the Led Out, so far.
I'm 67 mate ..he looks like me when I was 15 just makes you want to GO HARD.. BEST BAND OF ALL TIME.
When music was pure and good
What's race got to do with it ? you Americans can't mention anything without mentioning race
You don’t just listen to this music , you feel it . 50 years on and my hairs still rise 🏴
So TRUE!!!!!
Led Zeppelin is one of the BEST bands in the world along with the BEATLES!! ✌️
Me too!
Yes you do, this music.......was a life style.......
I know. I immediately cranked the volume and happily anticipated the screaming parts.
So happy for you that you met Zeppelin. They are the best!
I remember visiting my gramma in a rest home - the music of their day was playing. I started to laugh and said to my sister: One day this will be us with headphones on listening to Led Zeppelin. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm 76 years old and if this song was released today, it would still be a smash hit.
Or at least SHOULD be a smash hit. I'm afraid that the current... 'sound' has destroyed today's youth's taste.
You’ve sadly overestimated this generation, my good man…
I agree, you lived that era. I'm 60 and grew up listening to them, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Doors, Hendricks, Joplin, Stones. Etc. Real music with instruments. You were lucky to be able to seen them all. I got to see Zeppelin and Sabbath. Sad now no Rock n Roll. Just dancing.
Try Magic carpet ride !

Oh Baby, I love that you’re diggin this! I’m 71 and still blast this LOUD! Welcome to our world!!!❤❤
Right!¡ Ha ha
Same! 71 years old and grateful for the awesome music I had in my younger years! And I too still listen to it!
The Zeppelin is timeless!! So good seeing my teens loving it too- especially my son learning electric guitar. Brilliant!!
They are STILL to this day the greatest band to ever grace our earth. So cool the young ones are feeling it
As a 66 year old man it warms my heart to see this young man discover this incredible band. Led Zeppelin houses of the holy tour was my first concert at Madison Square, Garden
I am also 66 & I remember these days so well in the UK. I miss them, great times.
❤❤❤💯 agree ZEPPLIN ONE OF THE BEST ROCK BANDS!!!!!
Absolutely 💯 I'm 64 Iwas so lucky to see them live too, dont get great music like this anymore, that has got to be the best riff ever🎉
Rock was a way of life for me I've mellows since but good is good
Me too
This was Led Zeppelins first song that was played on radio. It simply blew all us teenagers away, we LOVED it, our parents Hated it..... Led Zeppelin is probably the most iconic band in Rock history and they still sound good today.... Loved them right from the beginning when I was only 15 years old...
This was off their second album. The first I heard was track one of the first album, 'Good Times Bad Times', as it was first released as a single. But it was the side two track 'Communication Breakdown' that really launched them.
Ditto!
Best rock n roll band everrrr!
On weekends my husband and I sit and watch all these old videos on youtube. My husband starts to reminisce all the bands he saw growing up, and when he first smoked marijuana and so on.😂
This was released in 1969, I just turned 17… my 3 older brothers bought the album immediately ❤
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! I'm 61 and this was music I listened too. They are one the BEST bands EVER!!!
Thank you 🙏 Zeppelin IS one of the best! Love watching someone experience them for the first time!! !
The seventies produced the best music. These people were real. No editing, no voice modulation just pure talent. Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and more. I went to a lot of those concerts, it was a real as it seems now. I can still remember the first time I heard surround sound from the four enormous speakers everyone had, spinning LPs in those days, that was a ritual in itself. It was mind blowing.
Jethro Tull, King Crimson... so many. It wasn't just a list of incredible bands, but the whole time and culture it created. Every time you stepped out of your house, it lifted and energized you.
I often wish i was 10 to 15 years older 😅
@@disaster4you2 no, don't! Enjoy our music without the arthritis and alzheimers! Lol
I agree, thank you for being open minded! They're still playing zeppelin's music on the airwaves today, I think they always will, they are timeless. Listen to their whole album "presence" every song is great! It's one of my favorites! Other bands I could suggest are Rush, Edgar Winter (frankenstein), Jeff Beck, there are so many. Have a great day!
You could at least spell their name right, Mongo.
Led Zeppelin is one of the most revolutionary bands in the world ! In all of time! Seriously. You’re right, they were, are and will always be special. ❤

Great seeing a youngster appreciate one of the best rock songs of all time!
Best music ever!!!! We rocked SO HARD in the 70’s! Good on you for finding Led.🎉❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I was a teenager in the 70s---------during COVID, my daughter decided to listen to the 100 greatest albums of all time. When she was done, she said she was so jealous cause I got to be a teenager during the greatest decade of music---and she's right, between the rock, the R&B, the country rock, disco, punk and beginning of rap, etc....---the singer/songwriters....yeah.....and they were still playing a lot of the 1960s music---great decade to be a teenager.

Every time younger kids say “these boomers” in a disrespectful way, just think of this, we were fed this incredible music since our early teens. Very very blessed.
And now they're Fed mostly trash. Unfortunately.

Fifty years ago?!? Eff me to tears 😢
"I aint never heard a band this good"❤ yes, we know 😊
WELL SAID
Best voice ever....and the drums!!!!!
I once got a speeding ticket listening to Black Dog on the freeway… and still don’t regret it.
As a 62 year old woman from Canada who grew up on this kind of amazing music...I so appreciate young people like yourself getting 'into' it and really appreciating the vibe! This is the coolest thing about the internet and music...people from around the world and different generations, appreciating each others music. Rock on!
Had to start hiding my cds after son heard many of bands use to listen to while in high school.
@@TiciaA26Hahahaha, that is awesome 😂
60 here --- our generation had - hands down, the BEST music EVER! :)
I just want to tell you about the lyrics “back door man” he’s not talking about the backside, Robert plant wrote other lyrics that go “ I open my front door, I hear my back door slam” meaning there’s another man in the house and when her main man comes home the other man runs out the back door, so he saying he wants to be the back door man because the girl he’s singing about has a man already
@@bryanhutley679 the back door man better run out before he gets caught by the front door man....lol
Glad you have found these legends from my child hood. Thank you for showing the respect they deserve.
I am 71. I love watching him hear for first time. Maybe tripping with Jim Morrison

I do so agree. 😊
My 18 year old grandson has discovered bands like AC/DC,Led Zeppelin, Queen and so many more that I grew up with, because my daughter (His mother.) heard them growing up because I listened to them. She listens to them so now a third generation is discovering them and enjoying them. Music moves us in so many ways. Long live rock and roll.✌️
Just Love your reaction! Priceless! We were brought up on this ❤
This young brother's eyes have been opened! Welcome to my teen years. Zeppelin was the soundtrack of my youth. Even 50+ years later, their stuff still stands up REALLY well.
No doubt 😁
I absolutely agree. I was lucky to see them twice in Toronto as a teen. Their first album was my second.

Totally agree 😊❤
I stretched out my houses of the holy tape :)
This band was my first concert at 15, ticket cost was $8.50, I still have the stub.❤
I was 13 when Bonham died. 🫶🏻😔 or I would have gone to a concert.
I saw them in 1972 in Rochester, NY and my ticket was $3.50. No opening act, just pure Zepp for 2 1/2 hours. They played Black Dog and Stairway to Heaven before they were even recorded.
$6.00 was face value in 77 Dallas. I was them in West Berlin 80. 25 marks, about $17..
Love seeing this generation rocking out to LZ🎸
I GOT TO SEE THEM TWICE IN CONCERT!!! Best concerts!!!
Wow ... lucky you!!
