    GO SOOTCH!!! I've even gotten my old man who's 64 into watching your vids!! On top of awesome vids and gear, you have the commonly overlooked "genuine-factor" that many reviewers either miss or just don't have to start with. The bloopers at the end are funny as hell, and let's us know your human. No matter how much gear, cameras, views, etc. there are attached to a person, at the end of the day, we are all just human. Mannnnn...I know I'm gonna prolly catch hell in the comments for that last sentence being a little too philosophical...😕. I was just trying to say You, Hickok, and Nutn are a lot of our favorites because your not super "try-hards" or inanimate "tacticoooools". You come off as a genuine and pretty cool guy. That being said, there ain't nothing wrong with a genuine dude getting to rip off some rounds with some badass gear! Long live the 2nd-A, the Republic, AND the channel of the Sootch!!! Peace brother.

    Where I see this being a huge benefit is if you're military and loading hundreds of mags on a range day, but I'm lazy and even if I were only loading 2-3 mags, I'd still pick up one of these.

    Where have I been (The VA, I think?) I have a couple of the Maglula small AR speed loaders but now I must have one of these. Since I reload I can afford to shoot copious amounts of 5.56 ammo. I usually take 10 each 30 round mags out with me so I sure can see the value in this product. Thanks man for the demo video. As always you put out a primo product.

    I keep the maglula in my range bag- both the pistol loader as well as the AR loader you showed in this video. They are fantastic and a lot less expensive than this full size version. A lot easier to throw in a backpack! I’ll stick with the small one. It’s pretty fast!

    It costs $120 to load just 10 mags which can be hand loaded in 10 minutes. You would have to be pretty well off just to buy the ammo and mags to pretend it was worth buying the Maglula.

      You can pretty much compare raw materials cost vs retail to anything in the world and come up with a reason it's a ripoff. You can also wait for China to ignore the patent on a design and pay half as much.... I choose to pay the actual craftsman, but that's up to you.

    • @Chasing.Adventure
      @Chasing.Adventure Před 7 lety +3

      Nothing is overpriced if people are willing to pay for it. Their mag top loaders are what, 30-40 bucks? Sure, its a few ounces of plastic, but I have several of them, and I don't regret that one bit. I don't personally see much value in one of these types of loaders since I'm not going to dump 50 mags a day at the range, but I love their small AR loader.

    The last mag loader test I saw, you compared the loaders' load times against a standard MagLula, and your times were in the low 30's, as I recall. Yet here you compared against only hand loading a mag.
    Was the time for loading with a standard MagLula to close to (or better than?) the MagLula bench loader? (i.e., the bench loader didn't look good at $130 vs. $30 for the little loader?) Seems like too obvious an omission.

      You think I'm being deceitful? LoL! I don't get a dime whether you buy it or not. I'm just showing the loader.

      Not accusing you of such; I guess the intent/tone doesn't come through in text. It was just such a noticeable omission that I was trying to guess why the comparison wasn't made.

      Thanks for the reply and my apologies for the sharp tone. Too many trolls around getting me fired up! lol!
      I posted loading a mag with the Lula on FB along with extras footage using the MagPump. I'm planning a video on the AR15 Lula and Striplula coming up.

      @crazyfvck Před 5 lety +10

      @A E True, it's probably $5 in materials. But how many tens of thousands of dollars did they spend to have the mold made for it? There's more that goes into it than just the material costs. Part of the profit goes toward recuperating the R&D cost, as well as the cost of having the tooling manufactured to produce the item.

      @@crazyfvck Good point. There are also many many other overhead expenses that are taken care of by the $127 profit that A E was claiming, like payroll, insurance, employee benefits, lawyers, accountants, security, and simple utility bills (electricity, water, gas) just to name a few. At the end of the day, I am 110% sure that there is a lot less profit than $127.

    • @PaganWizard

      @@dizzzave357 Far much more than half of everything we use here in the USA is made outside of our Country (tools, cars, computers, cell phones, household appliances, clothing, AMERICAN FLAGS, etc. etc.). I get the whole "Be American, Buy American" thing, and I do as often as possible, but, how many of the products we use on a daily basis are made in communist countries like China, or even in other countries that absolutely HATE our Country, like Venezuela??? Citgo gasoline stations are owned by the Venezuelan government. Capitalism is not just an American thing, it's a global thing. If you can find a legal way to take someone else's money, why wouldn't you???

    This seems fantastic and all but is it really worth $150? That price seems really high but I really don't know.

      @RealRotkohl Před 3 lety

      Well, it's truly expensive, but if you're tired of loading by hand, or just want to make it faster, it's a good investment. These things are also pretty robust, so they last for a good while.

    Even if it was faster to load it by hand, even by like twice as fast, i'd still rather use the bench loader when it comes to loading like 20-30 mags.
