Another gorgeous flight. 10/10
I have the same flight controller as what's in the Eachine + Gyro 6axis.
I've gotta say, in Intermediate, it makes flying in wind possible. Period. Having been an RC enthusiast for a long time - the only option for windy days before was nitro planes. Which are too fast for my taste. I like pretending I'm either in the plane, and make it comfortable, or that I'm a bird.
Having little park fliers like this has changed the hobby for me. You mention that you've been in RC flight for a couple years - you couldn't have joined us at a better time. Keep 'em coming!
One thing I love doing w/ these gyro planes is putting it in intermediate, climbing with an intense angle of attack, leveling off, switching to expert - then doing nausea inducing acrobatics, followed by a quick flip to beginner.
The plane always recovers itself, so long as I give it enough altitude to correct.
You are so right about what you say, this little puppy is perfect fun for windy days, the gyro setup is great for stabilising the plane in strong gusts 💨
Thanks for your great review. Just getting into the hobby and have the P51 and A220. I became aware of A430 and thinking about it because it has a brushless motor and separate servo setup. These planes are fun to fly. The P51/A220 are very durable and forgiving in crashes for those starting out like me.
Thanks for your comments, but a note of caution, the A430 is very agile AND fragile
It breaks very easily so be extra careful
If in doubt, pull out. A rule to love ur life by.
Absolutely brilliant quote - cheeky and smart 👍
thanks for the review!
I hope it might have helped you in deciding between the two options. I’m happy you enjoyed this
Thank you, I have the P-51 400mm Mustang, T-28 Trojan and F4U Corsair. Searching for a deal to fly inverted in my neighborhood without having to drive to a park. The A430 Edge has been sold out for months and the best price with shipping to Indiana USA is $165 with shipping and tax. It seems to expensive for such a tiny rc airplane. Cheers, Brad
I agree, that’s too expensive. Would you consider the xk A900? It’s a beautiful looking plane. - a little fragile, but more flexible that the A430 and pretty affordable
@@rcpilots1291 Thank mate, I will have a look see 👀
Yep Dave. The A430 is a nifty package - but you've got to move to the Emerald Isle where the grass is lush and green and the ground is soft! EPS is a no-no around gum trees and mining mullock heaps! 😜😁
All that lushness maybe making us a bit soft in the head 😂
Haha. Just watched, and in Emerald Isle now. Have both planes, like them both. Do you ever fly on the beach?
Claude LaDow ah crikey, so sorry to have missed you. I just saw your message. I hope you enjoyed your visit.
one thing i dont think you mentioned in the video is there is a big price difference between the two
but thats because the p51 has brushed motor, and the a 430 edge is brushless. forgive me for mentioning this .only thats why the a 430 edge is almost twice the price . thanks for the demo . good job
Thanks for those comments Kelvin, I omitted to compare the price difference and you explained it perfectly. Best regards , Dave
I love this company, looks like they make some great stuff..
I agree with you, I love the way they make it affordable
Yo al XK A430 le alargue las alas 3cm de cada lado y ahora tiene un vuelo mucho más estable ya que aunque tiene el piloto automático entra en perdida y es mucho más frágil que el mustang.
Les revomiendo que lo hagan.
That’s great advice, thanks for that, and yes I agree that it is a super fragile plane🤞
I think all rc foamy birdies should be made from the durable material that the mustang is made of.
Really ‘solid’ advice 😅
@@rcpilots1291 Good one, cousin.🤠👍🇺🇸
These two planes aren't even in the same league. Okay...similar size, similar cost (at least they were a year or two ago), and both are excellent fliers...but that's where the similarities end.
The A430 has GOBS of power, the Mustang has very little power.
The A430 is SUPER aerobatic, the Mustang does fly and respond very nicely, but it's nothing at all like the A430.
The A430 with brushless motor and 2s battery power has a MUCH faster top speed than the Mustang and can fly vertically for a long time, while the Mustang with a small brushed motor and 1s battery power runs out of steam in vertical climbs within a couple seconds.
The A430 made of EPO foam is FAR more prone to damage...nearly every moderate or hard crash WILL result in damage and you WILL be spending time on the bench repairing. On the other hand, the Mustang made of EPP foam you can crash over and over and over, and only the very hardest and most violent crashes will result in any damage whatsoever...it will just laugh off the moderate and light crashes, and even many of the hard crashes.
These two planes should not even be in the same video EXCEPT for the purpose of showing how extraordinarily DIFFERENT they are.
Thanks for your feedback, great points made by you . The A430 was one of my first planes, Naively thinking that it was a good starter plane, I think other people might make a similar decision.Of course the A430 is superior but I hope the video highlights the differences between these two planes.
Nice comparison. Thank you for that!
Qual é o melhor dos dois?
I think the little mustang is easier to fly, but if you’re experienced, then the Xk edge is a blast
