I have the same problem and it looks like the same system (Gator). I have a Tacoma and it leaks in the two corners. I've tried several sealers but have avoided putting sealer under the rubber seal so far. From your video it seems I won't have a choice. You've gotten better results than I have so I'm going to follow your lead. Thanks.
I have a roll up cover leaks at the bulkhead the factory spray in bedliner i think prevents a tight seal with the weather strip. Would you recommend your solution for this or just use more weather foam strip on the inside
hey there This video was filmed 3 years ago. came here to ask you how that flex seal is holding up and ask if you applied the coating on the tonneau cover or on the bed liner. I've got a leak at the same spot.
Hey man I really appreciate that Brother I had the exact same problem with my truck.. I did what you did it worked. So let me ask you a question what state you from? Also your truck is nice bro...
After you have the cover in place and satisfied with its fitment. Spray sealer underneath the cover . I havent ever tried to remove my bedcover ,but I don't think it would be hard to remove
hey did you take the tonneau cover off and spray or did you leave it fully assembled and just lay down in the bed under it and spray from underneath? I have the same tonneau cover for my f150 and its leaking in the same spot
Did you figure out what to do? I just installed a gator trifold hard cover and that is exactly where it’s leaking. I was going to try to take off both clips, put some silicone in and screw back in both clips after. It’s annoying for a brand new cover.
It's holding up good . I did add 2 or 3 more coats after this video just tobe on the safe side . One can is enough and I still have some leftover as well

Glad it worked for u man,and thanks truck has come along way. I live in VA
Need clarification. You sprayed the sealer underneath with the cover in place? Doesn’t that make the cover harder to adjust or to remove.

I left it assembled and went underneath to sprayed it . I would put 3 to 4 coats on it but one can should be enough
@@VilleBoyRacingChannel appreciate the info!
Thanks brother. I was going to take my cover off because it smells so musty in the bed.
is this the go pro 7 dude?
Yea it is
Mines leaks too. 😔 Almost sounds like a product design issue.
The design is some what the issue . But in my case its mostly because of the duraliner .
I got leaks in my screw holes of those clip holders

What’s up man, how has the sealer held up?

@@VilleBoyRacingChannel cool, thanks. Gonna try it out I don’t have the duraliner but I do have linex so maybe it has the same effect.
@@albertoosegueda3341 hopefully it work and it's a cheap fix
