I don't know about sweet, it felt rather like a nothing sandwich after all the editing! I'm glad you enjoyed. Definitely going to keep the hexacut but it's in urgent need of a strip and refit I think!

Hi Stan, I've been very impatient trying to get the work done but just not fair to leave mum and baby alone for long periods atm - I think by July (when baby goes to nursery and wife is back at work) I will feel alot more free to use up my evenings in the workshop.

Thanks Matt! I think once baby is in nursery I won't feel as guilty about spending all evening in the workshop but for now I def. feel like I should be giving the wife a break from being responsible for her in the evenings. I don't always comment on your videos but watch every one of them - keep up the good work and best to you mate and take care!
At some point I had also the gibs of my milling machine not adjusted. Witch gave me some very strange results :)
And for the rotary table, I'm sure you will figure it out.
Thank you Michel - I didn't know it was a problem to solve until just now. I 'fixed' this on the X and Y axis some time ago but forgot the Z! Did you know my alternative purchase to this machine was a Deckel-clone? maybe that would have been a better choice...

I do hope you didnt move the table 1 1/4" I think the drawing says 1 1/8" i did that and made the throw too big. enjoying your vids, they are inspiring me to get my finger out and finish fitting new boiler to my current maid. Then get on with another I stripped to paint so long ago, I am going have fun finding all the nuts and bolts

The parts look good and it is great to see a video from you, I hope everything is good with you. We spent a while adjusting the gibs on our Centec and we are ver pleased with it now. We have also been looking at our Centec trying to work our what would be required to install a DRO, we don't think it will be too hard or at least a lot easier than installing one on our Cincinnati which we are doing as a background project.
I reckon a DRO would be fairly straight forward particularly if you use the stop t-slots but I'm trying to resist as long as possible :)
@@williamsworkshopuk The Centec appears to have T-slots on all axis that could be used for DRO scales making it very easy. The DRO install on our Cincinnati seems to be going from bad to worse, someone thought it was a good idea to make everything except the bed curved. We are using the Centec more than usual at the moment to make parts to hold the scales on the Cincinnati. This is turning into the worlds longest project, I am pleased we are not videoing progress 🙂

I've got the videos from first time waiting in the wings, so more popularity for BH. Is there an official channel? Might be something to think about? Anyway, probably not going to come down today just because I feel like I'm on a bit of a roll and going to try to get a full day in the workshop and make some proper progress on the Maid! It's oddly easier to get 'time out' rather than 'time at home but unavailable' at the moment...

New blade may help in the hacksaw, my mills gibs were well shady till i changed the adjusting screws
Ah that's a great point, I should probably change that out. The belt is knackered and it's in dire need of a strip-down and rebuild...
