Rishi Sunak has acknowledged he will miss his self-imposed spring target for getting the Rwanda scheme off the ground but insisted: “We will start the flights and we will stop the boats.”
The Prime Minister said “enough is enough” and MPs and peers will sit through the night on Monday if necessary to get the Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill passed.
But Mr Sunak acknowledged it will still be 10 to 12 weeks before the first plane carrying asylum seekers takes off.

Why can’t we use the NAVY to STOP the boats in the FIRST PLACE BEFORE THEY ENTER BRITISH WATERS?
Using the Navy to stop the boats makes too much sense.
Prita Patel already tried that and the Navy were worse than useless. They were asking permission from the French navy to sail into French waters to pick up migrants! From memory the Navy's involvement was brought to an end by Suella Braverman.

I am sure it would be good for international relations to send warships uninvited into their territorial waters. In the past it is generally been seen as a declaration of war. Simple fact is using armed forces for civil issues is not normal in civilised countries. OK for Russia or North Korea of course - is that what you want?
They already play a dirty game. If they start throwing themselves in to the sea, there'd be a humanitarian crisis our polyshitons (they drop it on us in many shades, from a great height) would rather avoid

I read a story that the houses built for the immigrants in Rwanda have been sold for 25k to the locals interesting problem this is mega bs from the unelected hedge fund manager it will fail and dose not tackle the problem a drop in the ocean for the real problem
RAF doesn't have enough passenger orientated transport aircraft to pick up Air Rwanda flights. They have 12 Voyagers currently in service and they're tied up in operations in Cyprus,The Falkands and the air to air refuelling role for UK fighters. Which leaves us the noisy cargo type aircraft like the A400 and the C17. Doable but quite unpleasant for long flights. Somebody is bound to choke on their ear plugs or complain to some court or another.
A total waste of time ……this is flawed from the beginning ………I don’t believe it until it happens.! 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮

Why don't the government sends permanent British troops to Calais and when they see the boats deflate them on the beach...simple, patrol all the coast and when they see a boat, deflate it immediately
