Haha I love this. Number 9 is my favourite. I literally wore almost exactly the same outfit to a paloma faith concert but with pink dm boots on with it. It cracks me up when I hear people say omg who would wear that. lol me! The answer is me. “Graphic design is my passion” 😂😂😂 the blonde extra in the blue looks seriously depressed I think too. lol my style is grown woman/ toddler you’ve made my life make sense. Omg putting out the trash shoes is now a new doll reviewing description for me now. Epic! ❤❤❤

“3-4 years old” 😂😂😂 Nothing makes sense with Barbie Extra 11!! I like the little alligator with Barbie Extra 9 because it’s so random but that’s it 🤣 “It’s giving graphic design is my passion” 😂😂😂 When you said “okay”, I knew you were going to talk about the deluxe ones!! Yep as soon as I saw her shoes, I knew. So close! And I think if their second series wasn’t so strange (their first series was great) and then kept getting worse, I bet the line would have stayed!
Yeah I think the Barbie extras were a cool idea for a slightly older demographic but then they went…weird with it

Honestly, Extra 9, 11, 12, and the Blue Hair one are the most disappointing. Their outfits? Not too bad. The base doll? Pretty, and I love the face sculpts. Polypropylene hair? Hate it.

I have three. The Extra Fancy Pink dress one which i just bought for her dress. I found the rainbow hair with pigtails and the exclusive one at a Thrift store. I made the rainbow hair one my Pride doll had this rainbow colored dress.
Yeah the base dolls are mostly good, but the clothes really need help. I think the first doll should have had pink hair and more cohesive clothes. That yellow hair doesn’t go with pink clothes. I think there are quite a few other dolls not shown here, which also need help. Fun video sweetie 💗🌸

I have #19 she is a gorgeous base doll. The outfit is trash.
#9 is the absolute worst for me in every way.
you just over here roasting my favorite barbie extras. The green haired one is meant to be a wilted flower. A pink iris I think. The hair is the stem. The shirt has a pink flower design on it. and the leggings are the Pollen tubes.
Extra 10 and 19 are very pretty, but 18's outfit looks she just can't decide rather to go to a wedding, or her boyfriend's football. If she was in the Barbie Extra Fancy Line Mattel would've gave her a purple metallic dress, white stockings, and purple heels, and white princess gloves.
I think the barbie extra dolls designed post Judy Choi were all pretty good. I have barbie extra 19 and the barbie extra fly Ken. Too bad that era was short lived.
What was the first extra Barbie that she designed?
The only one i have is number 14. I wish they gave them names or something more memorable than numbers!
14 is the one with the long braids and a pink skirt and top with the Barbie logo all over. She is so cute!
I've been thinking of getting #17 (burgundy braids with blue pants and coat) and #20 (purple hair and cardigan)
@em84c I'm not sure. I think she was in charge of designing all the dolls up to barbie extra 18, then they brought some other designers for barbie extra 19 & 20 and Barbie extra fly. I'm not 100% sure this is what happened, but as far as I know, most Barbie extra dolls were designed by Judy Choi. I'm fairly certain she designed 14 , yeah that doll is quite cute.
Ok my daughter has the one with the pink hair and green and purple floral dress.Shes five and it’s her favourite barbie, I’m guessing the point is it’s meant to be for preschoolers pretending to be fancy ladies with pink hair ?
The doll herself is cute but the clothing is horrible
I have 4 or 5 Extra dolls. None mentioned in this video, but when I took the hair down & restyled & different outfit, they were really pretty dolls. But yea, some were just awful.
Barbie Extras was too extra for me. Almost all those doll I don't want any, some of the clothes were nice but they way Mattel put them together was just too much!! The only Extra doll I like everything was Barbie Extra 19.

Great video, I must say I bought them all except one Extra Fancy that I never got to in time. I would love to put a beautiful ballgown on the last one you roasted but none of them fit as she already has glam shoes lol.
I made the last one a skinny girl and now everything fits and I love her.

Sometimes pairing something casual with something more formal is cool...but this is not the way to do it 😅

Nice video!! The barbie extra line had a lot of beautifull dolls with obscene fashions and terrible mistakes. I only have 7 & 13 but I have seen up close almost all of them in stores and I dont liked any of these too much to spend 30 euros. Both the dolls I have I actually bought them as body donors for other dolls. But extra 7 , when unleashed her wild hair and undid her lipstick (sill havent put a new one though) I actually liked her a lot so I kept her and I am planning to restyle her. Barbie extra 13 has a gorgeous godess face mold and terrible, unspeakable quality of hair. I have done 8 whooping boil wash and softener treatment to her and its not getting any softer. The jersey blouse is already in a pile of never used clothes. And she is definately going for a reroot. I would really like to see you do a ranking extra video, when you are able to of course, even with stock photos. And I would really love to know out of all these dolls which is your favourite ?
What got me with that last beautiful doll is they gave her a shirt dress with nothing under it. Just 🙈 hanging out. Seriously... not enough budget left for undies, shorts.....😒👎
I have to agree with you for every doll except the one with the pink braids, i just think that if you take her jacket off and some of the accesories, she’ll look perfection. Btw, those Barbie extra dolls you showed me besided that #10, were my absolute least favorite, so… yeah haha

I have never really been impressed by Barbie, I actually think these are more interesting than the ones I grew up with, but that's still not saying much 😅 (very sorry Barbie lovers)
