+David Zubicek glad u liked it, thanks for the encourage, means alot!
yees... nice :)
Hi Jeff, comment from an 'old timer': the Captain is always in command. However, he will take the conduct (con) of the ship from the OOW as the need arises and normally when entering and leaving port or in heavy traffic areas e.g. Singapore Strait.
Thanks, very interesting your work, and your video is very very good
Hello JeffHK. I'm ScootChoi your subscriber and I'm a maritime high school student a major in navigation. I watch your videos when I want to give up my goal that is maritime officer. Your videos have reminded me of my goal. Thanks to make this video and I believe you'll make nice video again.
+최민서 thanks scootchoi for the support, welcome onboard and good luck!
+JeffHK thank you sir
Excellent video with very nice drone panoramas...thanks! No uniforms or insignia, very unusual operating environment especially when dealing with pilots and port engineers?
Outstanding. That breakfast really looked good. You get breakfast like that every day ?

+曾辰辰 謝謝, 這一次回家我會試一下翻譯中文
I'm planning to be a cargo ship passenger this year. Retired and too old to start a second career as a ship hand, but not too late to enjoy going along for the ride.
a passenger of a cargo ship. what your gonna be in a container.. lol
Thare are some companies that offers that service. One or two rooms for people as passanger
Boris Chang lmao wtf what a great job
Alqasim Elnaggar lol
Did you make it aboard one? If so, pleases update us!
I sailed for a few years and have always hoped to go back as a passenger. All the joys, none of the watchstanding / maintenance / drudgery. Alas, I didn't win the lottery I had planned on. Being a passenger on one of these mega-container ships would be an infinitely better experience than being inside one of those overcrowded floating casinos. And port calls in *real* cities, not mind-numbing outposts of trinket malls.
I hope you made it!
Hey! I've been watching litearlly half of your videos in one night.
Can you tell something about working with bad eyesight on ship? Didn' you had any problems with that? And how strong glasses you need to wear?
And let me know where you found your 1st sea cadet practice? And some pro tips and biggest mistakes you made at your first time on her?
Thanks mate!
You make such an interesting and qualitative content, thank you for your endeavors!
May I ask you about your vision acuity? How much %? Because I've got some problems with it and would like to know, is it so critical for navigators nowadays?
Rocking the man bun
According to the COLREG 72 and the STCW jeff, it is necessary to place beams in case of reduced visibility to use all possible navigation aids, in this case it would be important to use the RADAR and activate the S-band since this is less affected by these external agents. make another video where you can mention being things that are of great importance to us Deckofficers.
I'm enjoying your all blogs now im thinking to get a job in ship to be like you . Awesome keep it up stay safe ..
love your blogs..keep safe always
I have the same alarm tone.
Interesting
