- Mavic Air 2 How To Use Active Track - The DJI Mavic Air 2 has an impressive tracking system. In this video I will demonstrate and test Active Track 3.0 and Point of Interest 3.0. These two systems in conjunction with the DJI Mavic Air 2 APAS 3.0 obstacle avoidance makes for a very good tracking experience and allows drone enthusiast to capture really cool shots.

Flew my mavic air 2 for the first time the other day, and a few passing strangers were just amazed on how quiet the drone is. Maybe the public would feel at ease more if drones didn't sound like a boeing 767 taking off lol

Chad B. The Size is why I chose it over the mavic 2 pro, and flight time. Sold my phantom 4 pro plus, cause i took it to the Philippines and it was so heavy to carry on and off planes. Footage was very cool, but i dont think i shot any thing over 1080p cause of storage space and editing it was to much.

Great vid! Nice active track demo! Thanks! Couple of questions: Looked (and sounded) pretty windy. Did you note the wind speed? Have you tried the bottom sensor? Mine landed (as in it stopped its decent, announced it was landing, then shut down (?)) on a branch about 25' up, then fell to the ground on a return to home. (Soft ground, little damage) Also, is that like a drone park? Those guys in the background at 5:30 all looked like they were in the droned out position (standing around in the middle of a field, staring at their hands with stuff strewn around them) LOL Thanks again!
Thanks...Unfortunately, I forgot to record the UAV forecast when I was there. The bottom sensor work fine for me so far.

I dont have this drone yet, its on his way... Quastion, Is the distance on screen showing the right number? I assume is the distance between you and the drone...
That is the distance between the drone and the takeoff (home) point.

Really? Not sure what you're referring to. The tracking test went as it should so I don't know how you come to the conclusion that my effort was uninformed. Maybe you should explain.
Details...Did you read the aircraft manual before flying?
What details are you looking for?...it's fairly simple to do and in the video I demonstrate how to do it. That's the purpose of the video. For other details, you could refer to a different video
I have prolly watched 30 more videos on my personal interests since yours. You make good product. No reason to be defensive. I’m a part 107 pilot, and an Instrument Rated aircraft pilot. My training was very Manual-specific: All pilots read the Operational manual for info on specifics. I maintain that you are a strong voice for our passion here, and should be at the razor’s edge of information, so we can all learn best ways of flying safety and using every available option on the quad.
You are in good company. You may be surprised by the volume of info that results from spending a few hours reading the 52 page manual.
