- How to safely clear most modern handguns in under 60 seconds.
***Make sure to keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction at all times.
***Keep your finger out of the trigger guard at all times
***This is not a comprehensive guide. Certain handguns will have different instructions. Use your own best judgement. - Zábava
Gun range: "Sir. Are your firearms unloaded before bringing them into the range today?"
Me: "Ah shit" *Magdumps into the wall*
Haha 😂😂😂
They are now.
*into local school
*Starts getting shot by all the range officers😂😂
Lmaooooo "okay, it's clear now sir"
Keep in mind that certain designs (like 1911s) require the safety to be off in order to operate the slide, since the lever locks the slide in place. Rest of it is pretty good info though. Magazine first, then clear chamber, always in that order.
Yeah i an working on a separate video for the 1911/2011 pistols on their own.
Correct. He did say “most” and “modern”
@@Gunghis also in ur videos showing how to shoot semi autos like glock make sure u tell people there fingers can’t be in the way of the slide when firing beginner shooters don’t know this.
@@adub1300 true. But this guy was so informative that ill give him a pass.
Beretta cheetah pistols as well.
I don’t need this information but I just love these kinds of videos because we need to educate the next generation. Great job man
Appreciate the kind words 🤙
Next generation here, my dad went to get milk and came back with a 240 bravo. I always thought this was just common sense.
If you don’t know how to clear a freaking gun, then you shouldn’t own one. That’s like him explaining how to put your car in gear.
@@theboy9049 what about those that haven't yet purchased a firearm? Your mentality says everything that's needed to know about you.
@@lmJakey indeed.
Sometimes the basics are forgotten. Videos like this are on point.👍🏼
I appreciate the feedback! Thanks
I’ve been getting your videos recommended and I love them so much. You’re doing honest and great work. I appreciate you!
Glad to help and thank you for your support 🤙
I feel safer even having a general understanding of how to clear a handgun. I dont own a gun, do not intend to, and I live in Canada. Ensuring a handgun is clear and being able to do it is still insanely useful information that should genuinely be taught in schools.
I agree. There should be no stigma with firearm safety information
I love these tutorials, they're a great reference for people learning! It's why I subscribed to your channel👍
I appreciate the kind words 🤙 My goal is to get more people into shooting sports and then setup with solid gear.
Your videos have save so many life’s. I just know it. Cause even though I know what to do. I still sit in my chair and I listen and hear to what you are saying
I appreciate the kind words friend! I hope they do help people
Clear, concise, & professional! Well done sir. Keep it up.
I appreciate it
Even if you don't like guns, this is good information to know, just in case you ever come across a gun.
Yep, you never know
I know the things he teaches in his videos, but his presentation, clear and concise explanations is what keeps me watching anyway 👌🏽
I appreciate the kind words friend!
I’ve shot so many different kinds of guns but I still like watching these!
Plain, clear instructions provided in a straightforward manner. A lot of youtube gun-related vids come with some sort of "which is best" judgement and condescension. I like that your videos involve none of it, are short and quick, and present exactly what you need.
Thank you!
Me: pulls gun out of safe
*puts mag in
“Guess I gotta shoot till empty”
So most of the times this is for new owners at the range. The less manipulation needed the safer most are.
It’s refreshing to see simple, straightforward content even if you already know what he’s talking about. Doesn’t take up any more of your time than it needs to. Bravo
Thanks homie, I appreciate it!
I appreciate you. Clear, consise and to the point. You are very lucky to call America your home.
Thank you and i agree, its very nice here
@@Gunghis I went to college in the Midwest, America is truly the greatest place that I've ever lived in. I miss her so much.
Well maybe one day you can come back
@@Gunghis It's not as easy as that brother. My finances are not what they used to be, still, I vicariously live through these videos.
I wish more Americans valued America more though. It's pathetic to see them disregard and take for granted the freedom that they've been lucky to call their own.
Ah sorry homie! That is tough. Hopefully that all can be sorted in time. I agree with your other statement as well. Too many entitled people taking this place for granted. Big shame
I showed this to my grandpa, who was in law enforcement for 32 years. He was a commander captain the swat, he was a sheriff, and was a PFC in the military. He approves.
Awesome! Glad to hear it
Been studying for my firearm safety test and you do great job of visually showing and teaching us about firearms :D
Appreciate the kind words 🤙 more to come
I am with a gun team and we had to go through a lot of safety for the guns. And you basically did everything that our coach taught me
Thats awesome!
thx for this most people on here dont understand gun safety
Trying to help more people learn safe firearm operation
Loving it! This is the video that I was missing in the collection👍🏻. Keep up the great work!
Appreciate it! More to come. I have to cover more on shotguns, levers, revolvers, and a metric ton of modern rifles lol
Same
this is problably the most important videos someone can see around guns. a gun percieved to be empty is a scary thing if not handled well.
You should never perceive it as empty
@@FRANKWOOLF2 well, I can think it's empty, but still treat it like it's still dangerous.
the real danger is someone who thinks it's empty, doesn't check, and treats it like an airsoft gun or other toy
I learned about how to handle firearms 54 years ago. It’s always thought to be ready. As well developed as they are there are times when I don’t even trust the safety. Has there been a determination whether Alec Baldwin is guilty or not? Odd that his situation was swept away
@@FRANKWOOLF2 I honestly have not practiced using a safety on guns. I prefer my safety to be the chamber empty. I'm in my 20s so I don't have tons of experience, but from my experience an empty gun has zero chance of misfiring

bro i want u to by my personal instructor😭 u seem like a good teacher
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words
I really enjoy these videos.
Thank you ✌️
I know to a lot of us this information seems tedious, as id assume many people here have been around guns a good amount, myself having been around them for as long as i can remember, but for people who don’t or havent handled firearms, or are new to the firearm scene, this basic information will hopefully become the building blocks for proper firearm safety, much love🙏
Appreciate it and i hope so
Thanks so much , your videos are short and to the point . It really helps a newbie like me ! 🤙
Glad to help. Will add more tips and reviews along the way
Straight to the point no fluff nice
This is all second nature to me but always fun watching your shorts
Appreciate the kind words
It's great you're posting safety videos.
Glad I seen this video. I have always just shot into the air until it doesn't go boom anymore
Wow, looks like I’m not the only one doing it. Should clear the gun silently and more gentle next time
Thank you for promoting gun safety.
No problem! Glad to help
Every, Single, American, should know how to handle and clear a firearm, keep it up shooter!
I appreciate it ✌️
Glad to see someone wearing based earpro and not walkers
Ayeeeee yup. Peltors and sordins
Thanks for the information
Glad to help! Stay safe
Good concise little lesson for anybody looking to learn firearm fundamentals before they buy their first pistol. 👍
I knew that was a staccato. A distinguished gentleman!
Yes indeed! They are solid handguns
Love all your videos, and those guns are looking beautiful, I love that HK 45 I think I saw.
Thank you 🤙 and that was a HK USP
Good vid! One thing I was taught to both visually AND digitally inspect the chamber.
Its def not a bad practice! Continue it
This is what i waiting for. Thanks for great work!
Thank you ✌️
That 1911 build looks so nice and the rmr brings it together
Thanks homie
Safety first
I don't care how much experience I have with guns I'll still listen to gun safety advice more than ever since our 2A is under extreme threat
True dat
And besides all it takes is one slip and there's a chance someone will never be able to hold a gun again
Yup
Always Put safety First ..
Just subscribed. You teach basic stuff very effectively. Will recommend
Appreciate it. I will do more in depth stuff and reviews soon but will also continue this series
Despite what all the armchair quarterbacks seem to think... I think these under 60 second videos are great. I've watched most of not all of them and I think any beginner who may have just purchased their first gun (or first of a certain type) could find quick useful info without having to sort through a 20 min video. Succinct is the way to go. My only suggestion is I'd like to see some more variety. Stuff like older guns from Europe. Cause some older pistols and rifles have unique functionality, at least comparatively speaking.
Thanks for the feedback ✌️I am def planning a wider variety and borrowing friends firearms for demos.
very informative and well explained
Love your videos bro, informative and straight to the point. You'll always get a like from me!!!
Thanks for the kind words 🤙
Glad you stated most cus some guns the safety wont allow you to move the slide when engaged.
Yep. I have one on the 1911 to demo that coming out in a few days
This should be taught throughout all high schools.
There really needs to be a PR campaign about how you have to pop the one out of the chamber on a semi auto pistol. Too many people think it’s empty once you take the mag out. One of the most common types of gun accidents
That is true. Still one in the chamber
Your videos are great bro especially for us guys who don't have a firearm, cool guns to my g
Appreciate it 🤙
Very nice advice, I will do it for later purpose
I’m loving these tips!
Ayeeee right on
Thank you for the video. It was very helpful.❤😊😊
Congratulations finally somebody take te time to teach the necessary whit out stupid music or stupid steps
🤘
Tell u what mate u are properly one of the best person I know who knows his guns safety ect ect but u say it so clear and I can understand everything ur saying got some good talent u bruvv anyway keep well keep safe godbless you sir,
I appreciate the kind words and feedback friend! I will try to keep making content as i can 🤙
@@Gunghis ur channel will easily do very well it already is mate and ur views will keep growing I wish u all the luck , godbless you sir,
Thank you! You as well
LOVE YOUR VIDS BRO..YOU GET STRAIGHT TO IT..
Appreciate it 🤙 thats the goal
That's a beautiful handgun man
Love the videos man keep it up you should show revolvers next
Yup revolvers, levers, and bolts are on the list!
@@Gunghis hell yea looking forward to it man
🤙
That woodland USP is a vibe.
Oh hell yeah! Its beautiful imo
I don’t know why I keep watching these- I know all this already but damn he makes a fine vidya
I appreciate the feedback 🤘
wow this seems a lot safer than looking into the barrel to see if there's a bullet. Thanks!!
Please dont ever do that
@@Gunghis well I didn't know how else to tell if there was one in the chamber
love the content and concern for education! i know i don’t need the info but i’m sure someone else does. keep it up big dawg!💯
I appreciate the kind words🤙
Went shooting with my chaplain earlier today. We've been meaning to go shoot and we finally did. At some point he asks if I'd like to switch bays so we can take a couple shots with each other's weapon. I had a HK USP 9mm. I handed him a mag for the USP. He liked the USP but didn't know how to actuate the magazine release 😅 I showed him where it was because he didn't know where it was but he still didn't know how to get it to release. I demonstrated that for him, one handed.
I have to admit, the paddle magazine release was the one thing that I really like about the USP that's I've gotten very accustomed to. I'm surprised he chose the CZ-75 as his carry weapon since he's a lefty.
Yea the usp is very nice and the paddle is very friendly to use. CZ is also great though
Sir, I love your vids
I appreciate the feedback and support friend!
That gun is Fantastic!
Your videos are great! Keep up doing!
I appreciate the kind words! I will try my best
Keep educating the newbies I see a lot of videos on here if new owners being stupid af with their guns
Will try my best ✌️
Great vids! I hope ppl can use these for good.
Thank you, i hope so as well ✌️
You are doing great please explain most common hand Guns so we can disable them in an unfortunate emergency
Disable them?
@@Gunghis yes incase we are stuck at a shooting or s setuation we may need to disable the weapon
Ok well im planning to show how to field strip then for cleaning. That should work as well
The easiest way is to drop the mag and clear the weapon hahaha 😅😂😂😂
I love this. Thank you.
Glad to help ✌️
"Shooting until empty is the easiest way to clear your firearm"
*me magdumping 60 rounds into, and through, my drywall*
Lol most people shooting at a static paper target at the range. Maybe i should be more explicit
I canik rival sfx 2022 is insane , it's easy to slide & can still fire a round with no mag in so gotta be careful at all time , plus no safety switch only on the trigger
Thank you I am brain dead so this helped me out
Let’s talk about the BIG issue I see happen to “Weekend” range visitors. A round that fails to Chamber and Jams the slide. I see so many people just look at the gun completely confused about how to handle it.
Drop the mag, and proceed how this gentleman suggests. Trying to clear a jam while the Mag is in, usually causes another jam (in my experience), if you can get the slide back far enough to eject the jammed round at all.
Yup! drop mag and clear
Thank you so much
Helped me in a disarm
Nice HK i like your style
Damn that usp is filthy
🤙 thanks
“Heel magazine releases”
Yeah sorry. I forgot about those until after I made the vid. I will cover one in the future.
Loving these keep it up
Appreciate it
Me as a Canadian watching this:
🧍♂️
Canadians can still own guns
Dude that tacticool camo on the USP just fucks
Ayeeee ✌️my homie did great with that cerakote job. I have an AR-15 to match as well
@@Gunghis I saw your how to operate an M4/M16 video as well, that one fucks too
M81 woodland slaps hard
Damn!! Is that a staccato???🤩
Yes indeed. A P DUO with a 507c v2
Nice
Here in England I was taught using a different method. Once the weapon is unloaded, check the chamber if there's ant debris or ammo left over, if clear you just wanna out the bolt back forwards, blank shoot it at a target, then out on the safety
That seems like a solid method as well
@@Gunghis it varies tho since its typically only on cadet rifles
I one used a glock with a mag switch/lever style release that you push foward to release the mag
Cool.
Near the end of the short when handling the camouflaged unit, you covered your hand when reaching over to grab the slide. Be careful.
Yea i trying to demo in frame of the camera was weird. Was def a flag
thank you
You really need to do a collab with JaegerZ999! Just for the giggles 🙂
That would be dope AF
Fueling this.
Thanks!
Thanks now if there is an apocalypse im ready
Yeeee
I lowkey want to hand some gen-Z a Makarov and watch them try to work out how a heel release works.
On Walther P-38 you just have to press it, but soviet steel really makes you work for it, at least until you figure out best way to do it (push with thumb while pulling with index finger).
Thanks for this
✌️
That’s a lot to take in for someone that’s never cleared a gun before
Great videos 👍🏽
Appreciate it
Could you do a video on best way to grip pistol with something like a flash light or laser mounted below barrel, similar to what you have. Without it there I can kind of use front of trigger housing to get a solid grip( this is all when not drawing from holster)
Great video but I would include that some handguns will lock the slide forward when you engage the safety like the 1911 for example
Yep. I have a vid on 1911 filmed already just need to edit. Hard to fit all of this in short format
Video was good
🤙 thank you
Awh yes, the 'life liberator'
