As a single action revolver guy its weird to see everyone freaking out about having to let the hammer down manually, when i carry which isn't too often when I'm out of my yard or the woods i carry a ruger wrangler and manually letting the hammer down is second nature to me. I'm sure letting the hammer down on a semi auto isn't as friendly as on a revolver though.

Uncle got me a Mosin at 14 and its been my hunting rifle ever since. In 14 years of owning it I havent ever had the issue everyone pretends to have about the clips.
