This song transcended the 80s music. Apparently the drumbeat drop when they played the recording back, Phil was dismayed that the recording mic he used was the wrong one coz the drum beat didn't sound solid and real like he wanted to. Luckily they kept it and thus the sound of the 80s beat was born.
