Ever since the videos emerged of Baker Mayfield's pregame ritual, air drumming to Phil Collins' 1980's hit song In The Air Tonight, there have been fan made highlight videos featuring him in action. I wanted to go a different rout with this rendition. #Browns In The Air Tonight attempt to tell the story of the rich championship history of the Cleveland Browns organization with clips from title victories in 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1954, 1955, and 1964.

Spastik PS4 wasn’t Modells fault. Fuck Mayor White and the Cleveland politicians for not taking care of the browns. The two other teams got brand new stadiums while the old municipal stadium was decrepit and falling apart. The fans shouldn’t pay for any renovations or any new stadiums for any team but that still doesn’t change the fact the Browns were completely overlooked all the while Modell was begging for help. He spent so much of his money on this team. He was the greatest owner of all time.

@@bpdubb Yes, it was Modell's fault. Yes, Mayor White was an asshole that took too hard a stance and should have given the Browns a stadium. But Modell was such a pussy that he didn't have the guts to face White himself and tell him that he was going to move, that he had been offered a deal. Instead, he just snuck off to Baltimore and took the team. He never gave Cleveland a chance to counter Baltimore's offer. Modell is a spineless piece of shit that deserved every bit of hate thrown his way.
Spastik PS4 I wish I could send you a link. But Mike Trivisonno interviewed Art Modell back in 2007. Trivisonno is a radio host for Cleveland if you are unfamiliar with him. Anywho, If you listen to that entire interview which lasted a good hour or so I believe. If you listen to that and still have the same opinion then god bless ya. I’ll do my best to try and find it but yeah. Great interview and completely changed my opinion of the man.

It's like a dream. I'm 45 years old. My Dad is old school. He has always been a Browns fan. In my single digits till about 12 or 13 I was a Pitt fan. Then one day I watched the Browns destroy Pitt 50 plus to 0. I said I'm with you Dad. Have been through thick and thin ever since.

Hence, when Baker came on..1st string had no clue how apparently Baker's catches would feel...so Rashard "Hollywood" got lucky...it is different now...Baker is now 1st string..i can only imagine what we will get this year from Baker & all our weapons...OMG! I have been a Browns fan since I was born back in '74. And I was born and raised in Cleveland. I grew up on stories by my Grandfather about players like Lou Groza, Dnate Lavelli, Otto Graham and of course Jim Brown justt to name a few. And when the Browns came back in '99 I was soo excited. But then the dreadful 20 year drought. In that Span only two winning seasons and one playoff appearance. And then everything changed when we drafted Baker Mayfield. And after this past awesome season hope and optimism has been restored. We as a fan base are also to thank for staying with the tide and support our team in the CLE. This next season should be even more exciting. Let's go BROWNS!!
Also, if you notice, the "it's all been a pack of lies" was on the right people. . . . I grew up watching the NFL. Every game I could watch. Bernie Kosar was a phenomenal QB and I got in trouble for throwing Milk Bones at the TV as a kid on touchdowns. . . I've been a lifelong Dallas Cowboys (apologies, LOL) and OU Sooner fan. All that to say this: OU fans by the thousands are pulling for OUr guys who are in the NFL to do great things. Baker could come back to Norman and run for mayor and win by a landslide. Great video! I think it’s the perfect intro song for the Browns. Phil Collins wrote the song about a divorce he was going through at the time (so I heard). This fits the Browns, because they are looking to “divorce” themselves from the past 20 years of sadness. Dawg check!

I think I’m up to viewing number 10. I started following the Browns last year before the first game after a twenty year sabbatical from the nfl. I appreciate the history and was moved to tearing up. And when the young buck started drumming and made his entrance during that Jets game, I let go... lump in throat. I watched it live and knew special times were coming. I’m now in love with this team more than a sane person should be. My home is decked out in Browns merch and everything shuts down for a game.

Fine piece of work. Really. Wow that brought back memories. Been a Browns fan since 1972 when my Grama took me to see them lose to the Chiefs 31-0 in my very first NFL game. Saw Model sitting in his loge box seat. They went 10-4 that year too. I can't wait for the season to start. This is the first year my entire life that I've not paid attention to baseball. I've basically written it off. I am counting the days to training camp. I live on the West Coast now and my friends out here don't get it. They think I've gone crazy cause all I wanna talk about is football. C'mon September!

I have to say that your enthusiasm for the Browns is fun to watch. Even though from 1999 to the present your record is 99-224-1. It will be interesting watching you guys this season. I'm a Colts fan and the first 11 seasons were tough to watch. I'm glad we didn't have to wait 20 years for success. Good Luck this season.

I wanted Darnold until the week of and my older cousin wanted Josh Rosen then we came together and realized, WE NEED BAKER! I was at my cousin’s the night we drafted him and I was there the night Baker got us our first win last year! I freakin’ love Baker man! He’s living my childhood dream! That covered a lot of ground, my Browns experience kicked in with Leroy Kelly. Had a 13" black and white Sylvania TV and got the Browns on the Toledo station, Kelly was the first player I saw when I turned on the TV that fateful Sunday back in 1968.
