- Well, if quality is what your looking for then this Italian property restoration has it all. The property is within 15 minutes from Montone and 30 minutes from Umbertide. There's quite a long white road so if being close to shops and restaurants is a must then this is not the house for you. On the other hand, there is no light or noise pollution and in fact the Observatory is over the next hill, so although I haven't been to the property after dark I expect there's amazing views of the nights sky. Sensational property , true craftsmanship, don’t know why I’m watching though , although Italy is my dream , I’m a newly retired solo and my ideal area is the Dolomites around Cortina for the walking , cycling and skiing . Really beautiful home though , thanks for the video.

A totally stunning property - but looks completely new in every way, altho that's not a criticism...wonderfully decorated in sublle tones everywhere, I couldn't see anything at all that didn't please my eye ! Well done decorators or house owners - but it does look like a well-staged home ! And all of that with total peace & a huge chunk of acreage - wow ! just wow !!!

Love the restoration this one nick. The decoration and furniture seems well complimentary and just about right..just wondering of the open grass land could be used for growing vines or olives..and would you be allowed to install more solar panels, is their a limit or restrictions due to weight or legislation?.. another great video tour by the way..i think I’m falling in love with the rustic Italian lifestyle..❤️🇬🇧🍷👍🙏

Hello Evelyn, there are 11.7 hectares of land with the property which roughly converts to 29 acres. About 0.5 of a hectare (just over an acre) is fenced. Pleased to hear you like it.
I wouldnt turn into a guest house....i would turn it into a garage for my husband to continue doing work ( he is a mechanic ) and that way he could keep me in the manner ive become accustomed too :)
Nick, you give nice tours overall, but if you are open to some presentation guidance....no need to give the inventory of each bathroom if all of the usual items are there. Try to limit the uptalk at the end of every sentence. And we can see if the sun glares and the camera adjusts or not...no need to overtalk the insignificant details. :-)

Good morning Peter. The current asking price is €850,000 (recently reduced from €995,000) and the owners might be willing to sell some or all of the contents by separate negotiation. They are resident here in Italy so may want to take their furniture back to the UK with them.

Last question--with these more remote homes, how is trash pickup and recycling and mail delivery done? Do you have an in-town mail box at the local post office and are you responsible for bringing your trash to a collection center? Thanks.
Hi Mary, Normally there are collection points and yes, we need to recycle. Most houses have post boxes which are at the beginning of the road or drive. The whole system works well.

Hi Von, A lot of old farmhouses will have shutters, bars, and potentially both. As a restoration is really is the owners' choice whether to have them. If its a holiday home is does make sense although crime is extremely low in that area. Have a great day.
