How to Become a SUCCESSFUL Hive YouTuber...

- On the Minecraft Bedrock Edition server, The Hive, many players record their gameplay and upload it to sites like CZcams for others to view. Some creators see more success on their channels than others, but many don't know WHY. As someone who's seen a decent amount of success in running a Hive CZcams channel, I figured it was time to share some of my advice and insight towards running a channel. In this video, I essentially ramble for 9 minutes about what it takes to become successful in the Hive CZcams scene, through things like titles and thumbnails, the CZcams algorithm, and discuss the commonalities between the channels of other Hive CZcamsrs. All of this commentary, over Hive Skywars background gameplay.

My BIGGEST advice for videos is make content that people get hooked early and watch all the way through. That's what youtube is all about. Engaging the viewer and giving them reasons to watch through the video and crave more when they are done. Keep videos compact, don't repeat yourself too many time, make sure your intros draw the viewer in, and have video outros that have people wanting more. I have spent a lot of time recently improving my style, and this is what I strive for on every video. It has made a very big difference on my videos doing this chance, and they are being promoted alot more becuase people have a reason to watch through the videos, and youtube sees that

Intros, titles, thumbnails and having fun are all key pieces of growth I learnt from you.
From watching your content and our talks, I’ve learnt a method to keep people hooked through an intro which is what you want, I’ve also learnt more simplistic to the point thumbnails and good titles are also ways to get clicks.
And finally I have fun with the content I make, which helps a bunch because it means I put more effort into it, rather than just uploading a video for the sake of uploading!

I've watch the whole video and for the algorithm is you'll need more Quality and editing skills ull need to get more interesting video ideas rather than doing the same content over and over "Hive gameplay" you need to add twist to get into the algorithm like potatopie said ull need good title and thumbnail and I realize that "Shorter and simple Titles Are better" and for the thumbnails just make it high quality and easy to understand/read ull need to give the idea of your video to your viewers so they know what are they gonna watch
This time I've been checking my analytics and experimenting some stuff it istantly I found one "flaw"
My previous videos were not edited well/enough thats why I dont get that much watch time
I can definitely vouch for the posting good videos but the algorithm just doesn't pick you up. These things take time and patience! Great video!

Being a creator has your mind running 24/7. You're always thinking about what's next and what you can do to continue growing. Trying to find time especially when you're in college. beIN consistent etc. Our brains never really take a good break

Very useful video I must say! I've been doing YT consistently since 2016 and a lot of these tips have only started to get to me recently. Especially the one about video titles since... I'll admit, That I'm one of those people that use the extremely dated "Minecraft PE/Bedrock [Insert Minigame Here] Episode 185" format. So it's no wonder why a ton of my videos underperform. lol (I mainly do so since I don't see the need in rebooting a long running series, Much less one involving LBSG)
I'm also someone that tends to upload whatever I want regardless of the genre, But I plan to eventually move past that and focus almost solely on plush content. Since it's what my core audience wants and it'll be way easier than trying to build an entire new audience based around a game and server that I don't play nearly as much as I used to.
I originally did want to try making more Hive related videos, But I just don't have the time or energy to be consistent with it.
Above all else though, I have made a ton of connections over the years and I have amassed a dedicated following from my livestreams. So that's way more than I ever expected to get.

Was as easy as it sounds for me 🤷♂️ (sort of)
It also takes a LOT longer for some people than most might think. I know someone who’s had only 1K and has been uploading consistently for over 2 years now and hasn’t even made it to 2K yet. Takes a lot of dedication.
*To be fair he is mostly a streamer and sometimes just streaming doesn’t always work.*

I think your repetition in the community matters as well.
If you’ve done something bad in the past, it could effect how people look at you in the community, which could lead to a lot of hate and some drama.

Dude, these are some really good tips! Thanks so much! Also if you’re a non-commentary channel (like me) you have to have good editing. This is something I really aim for in my new videos. You shouldn’t over do it but just enough so people don’t get bored and click off. If you do do commentary then PotatoPie’s editing is a good example

Consistency definitely a big example:Fit mc uploads every Saturday morning And I know this is a lot more specific than most people but I think it helps him a ton because it’s so easy to realize on Saturday morning that you’re bored and that you can go click on that video versus having to have it get lucky and go in your recommended

Great video but I'm not sure how accurate the quality part is (3:47) , I grew thousands of views using 30 fps 1080p because that's all my cheap PC could handle. The important part is that you make videos that are very unique and people cant find your style of videos anywhere else.

As a youtuber I recommend making the titles have a sound anything so you can give the viewer the most attention to keep watching, also make it satisfiniying if you dont know how to make people keep watching, so ya also now you must make a picture of what your saying if your doing commentery, and your just talking with your captions some people wont know what you mean and leave the video, make them keep watching by making it where all of your fans know what your doing, you should also find a player you want to talk about if you dont do that people wont look at stuff that makes them watch further, also make captions if your playing with other youtubers the best color is the other person voice fav color you should also make premeries on content that is not just a funny clip make it a long video or a video you havent did in a long time luck 40% hard work 60% im trying my best to do these things and hope to be a big content creater
