What Can YOU Expect from TubNet's Release?

- TubNet is soon to be Minecraft's newest server, but they've had some hiccups recently and had to delay the release. Made by the content creator known as @Tubbo, one of the goals is to have Minecraft Bedrock and Java edition crossplay, meaning you can play the server on either version of the game. Some of the games that it will have are Crystal Rush (similar to Bedwars), Light Strike (a Valorant or CSGO-style game), and Spacebound (like Kerbal Space Program). No one is sure of what the TubNet release date is yet, but I give my prediction as to what it will be in this video. I also talk about how they will fare against some of their competition, namely MCC Island, as well. All of this commentary, over some TubNet gameplay.

This server could have a really big potential in the coming future, I really hope they have cool minigames, make the kb a mix of bedrock and java, and also hope to see events later on.

I wanted to add that spacebound is going to be in beta when the server launches. So the reason we don't know much about it is because there isn't much there right now, they are still actively working on it.
Alot of work has been done to tubnet and they imo made the right decision to delay 100% and it takes a lot to do that which is a positive but saying that the fact that it had to be delayed makes me worried about the server in the long run, about how well the performance the server will be and also due to being cross-compatible how long it will take to release updates. Also on the point about MMCI I think due to already having player play it on a beta for a longer period of time will and how the games are familiar to the players will allow it to be bigger than TubNet, so if one server takes the player base I would be putting my bets on MCCI, but I hope both succeed.

People don’t understand how hard potato works to make these types of videos perfect. You earned ur self a sub.
Considering Bedrock players have to adhere to Java PVP and mechanics in order to keep things balanced, it sort of seems like they're trying to give Bedrock people a Java experience instead of Java people a Bedrock experience. The two are almost completely different (and feel entirely different too) so of course one would have to bend in order to make cross-play fair or even possible. I just hope that it works, I'd honestly like to see large servers that have crossplay between platforms, and a part of me hopes Hypixel will make a bedrock server again sometime.
they definitely need to remove the bedrock bridging system or nerf it or give java players the same thing or maybe a different gamemode for that specific bridging system

Geyser is used in minehut and its a good crossplay but it doesn't change the bridging which is big so I think tubnet is gunna have a better cross play

Honestly I feel that it is overrated. Nothing against Tubbo as I know he works hard on servers and everything, but it doesn't seem that acciting to me. Good video though

I play bedrock but I'm glad their taking away bedrock bridging in the cross play, in my opinion in some game modes for bedrock, the bridging system is kinda dumb especially for the bridge game mode
the 1.9+ pvp community has been massive in the recent years, alot bigger then the 1.8 pvp community.
Thank goodness they are doing platform based queues. It would seem insanely unbalanced and unfair towards the mobile and controller players like me. Having to adjust to the mechanics will still be a big hill to climb, and I think it will probably keep a lot of us players out. That said, I hope the server succeeds, and I know it will certainly be better than the past few released featured servers.

I’m really curious to see how they handle mobile players. One of the biggest differences between computer players and mobile players is that mobile players can hit people and place blocks anywhere inside their FOV, while pc players are limited to their crosshairs’s position.

This Server is SOO Hype and i actually hope its good just to see how excited Tubbo and his team are and his great Support to the Bedrock Player Community. But when i heard the Thing about Bedrock bridging and Pvp....I just had the same reaction as Potato. It doesnt sound that Great specially for people that would be playing on phone or Ipad...and even tho i get that Bedrock matches will not be affected at all it kinda sucks to java bridge in Mobile ya know, also the fact that they are releasing only 3 Gamemodes, MCC Island is looking far more prominent but only time will tell.
And about if this Servers will compete well or just 1 is gonna Survive, i really think that both TubNet and MCC Island have a pretty strong, Big and faithfull number of Fans and people who is really looking foward to play their servers, Specially considering how Massive both Noxcrew and Tubbo are in the Minecraft Community, like, one of them is one of the Biggest Minecraft Content Creators and the Other is the Creator of the Biggest Minecraft Tournament in the Entire Community. But even with all that, i cant really tell if one or another has more chances of succeding.
Most of the "CZcamsr Servers" i've played die pretty quickly, they do well for a couple weeks but then they just disappear completly. However any of those servers seemed to have as much passion and effort putted into them as TubNet. Tubbo is really taking this seriously and professionally, and why talking about Noxcrew, they are already good at what they do and they also have experience with the Bedrock Demographic, something that TubNet doesnt have at all, funny enough that TubNet is the only of the 2 that has confirmed Bedrock and Java crossplay while for Noxcrew that is not looking like a priority. In the End i Think the 1.9 PVP Community is getting bigger and bigger with all the content creation and servers like PvpLegacy.
I think both servers have SO much potential and we cant know if one is gonna Succeed over the other or not. Loving how you are covering all this Java Server situation, cant wait to see whats happening with the Servers and try them out! 100k is no joke the next big step PotatoPie. Love y'all see ya!!❤

6:24 ok how are you gonna shift bridge on Mobiles with classic Touch Controls?? This is a option is GeyserMC (CrossPlatform Plugin) Plugin's config file which can disable Bedrock Bridging Partially, but ig we can still bridge like that but the server will remove blocks after some delay, but hey we can Still GodBridge while Holding Right click, held Right click is also a weapon for bridging, they only took away our Front Edge Placing Mechanic Partially, if he didn't Took away the Offhand Slot from Java Players then it will be a advantage for Java players because we literally can't use our broken left hand, Mojang still hasn't added Nerves to that dumb hand
I can already see someone making a pp on the rocket minigame like I wouldn't be surprised if that somehow becomes a top design

What about the cheaters In the mixed queue? Because you can make accounts on bedrock for free, And that would mean a lot cheaters. Also in the mixed queue, it would be cross play so there would (most likely) be a watered down version of the anticheat so clients could bypass even easier. So idk what to think about the mixed queue.

How are they making custom Entity models on Java Edition??
They're probably using Mods and not Vanilla, like Bedrock has support for Custom entity models in vanilla itself but, Java doesn't , and if they're using mods, Bedrock Players will not be able to see it, if GeyserMC (the plugin Which allows JavaXBedrock Crossplay) could translate those mods to Bedrock then they could see it, but it has never happened till now

@@kapish094 phone and whole Bedrock Edition players would suck at it, cuz uhmm uhmm, Java Players have 10 Hotbar Slots while Bedrock players only has 9, basically Bedrock Players have to play single-handedly while Java Players can Dual Wield, meaning they can Shoot us, eat food, without even changing slots

I love how they're kinda lying about the delay. No it's not cloudflare's fault that your server cant handle its poorly coded connection proxy. Cloudflare hosts hypixel and alot of the web and routs it, it has more than enough power to host stuff. Same goes to the first beta test delay, they either try dumbing things down way too much to a point where it doesnt make sense or straight up lying
I don't think they have said it was cloudflare's fault. They have intentionally avoided telling us whose fault it was.

It was confirmed that there are Java-only, Bedrock-only (including bedrock bridging!), and crossplay (with bedrock bridging anticheated out, probably).
