What will the NEXT Minecraft Bedrock Featured Server be? (in 2022)

- On Minecraft Bedrock Edition, some servers are "featured servers", like The Hive and CubeCraft, meaning they're officially supported by Microsoft and Minecraft. The age-old question, though, is "what will the next featured server be?", and in this video, I discuss what that server might be. I'll talk about where I went wrong in last year's prediction with the TubNet server by Tubbo, explain why it probably won't be servers like NetherGames or HyperLands, and give my reasoning as to why I think the new featured server might be from someone like Noxcrew (creators of MCC, or Minecraft Championship), or Gamemode One (creators of the Minecraft Sonic map). All of this commentary, over some Hive Skywars gameplay.

Noxcrew is already planning on making a Public MCC type server on Java. If it goes well, it'll probably come to Bedrock because of all the recognition they have.
I hope that happens it would be great.

I remember making a suggestion to Noxcrew about a year and a half ago asking them what they thought of doing something like this. They responded and I got so excited. This would be a very nice addition to minecraft. Looking forward to it.

That wont happen these are the reasons i think why
1:It will take a very long time to remake mcc since bedrock and java is different and not the same although nowadays you can play java servers even if ur on bedrock.
2: battle box, survival game etc. Requires 1.9 java pvp because those gamemode is better to play on 1.9-1.18 pvp style because of the delayed hits,damages, and the mechanism.
@@nowiqi I think mcc with Pre 1.9 combat is intresting cuz I've never seen MCC without pre 1.9 combat
4J Studios should make a server. They made the console versions of MC, most of the offical marketplace content, and even some of there own and would be a good fit for a server. They could just port over the mini-games they had on console along with there maps.

Noxcrew is already working on a server called MCC Island, however it's going to be java only. When asked about the possibility of making it a cross-platform server, they responded that they wanted to ensure that everyone gets the full experience, and using work-arounds like gyzermc wouldn't cut it; bedrock just lacks certain features that they need to make certain things work.
(Also worth mentioning, keeping their server and the MCC event on java allows them to share assets between them interchangeably, streamlining development)
I hope that Mojang considers already established servers to become featured. It can sheds light to new developers and builders that work hard on their game and it'll just be good for the community overall.

@@polex3127 Hypixel is working on Hytale a huge competitor of Minecraft that is expected to be released end of this year (take that with a grain of salt) so Microsoft would never allow this.

Game mode one and Noxcrew both deserve a server. Noxcrew is Noxcrew so of course they deserve a server and after playing through 4 of Game mode ones maps (Sonic, Bloom, Seaside Story, Ultimate Dragons) I would love to see them get a server. Each map of theirs is an absolute delight to play and they’ve not only got my attention but also my respect

I’ve heard from some madblock admins that madblock was going to become a featured server, im not sure when but I’m pretty sure they have some connections through the marketplace
I think a server by noxcrew would be good, terra swoop force was amazing, and they have the mcc’s as well so they have a lot of practice with 3d models and other things that you would need to make a server, and if they did make one it might even have games from the MCC as well (maybe not but that would be so cool).
Honestly anything but another pixel paradise would be good
I’m hoping it isn’t just another mini game server and it’s something like factions. And if it is a mini game server, it’d not just the run of the mill bedwars variant, sky wars variant, build battle variant, ect. Lifeboat used to have an alright survival with properties and stuff but unfortunately like everything on lifeboat, it sucks now.

a noxcrew server would be so cool. i can imagine it having all sorts of games like games from mcc like skybattle or even dodge bolt. it could also have something like terra swoop force
I want zeqa because it’s an amazing duels server and is already well known or Tubnet because it looks like a pretty decent server and I believe tubbo will do pretty well and screw it up and also will allow PlayStation players to play these servers as well
I hope there’s an open world Survival mode server. (that’s actually good and not quirky)

The only way I think Microsoft would go with an unknown dark horse option is if they have a LOT of micro transactions. Also I didn’t even think about what you brought out concerning 3D models. And can we talk about Mineville? I hate that they removed the PvP games because they’re literally called InPvP. Seems like they’re just going away from their roots :(

I would love to see games like Terra Swoop Force and some of the other mcc games in a bedrock featured server.
I think spark universe might be the creators of the next featured server because they're quite known and Minecraft even asked them to make some of the January gifts that you could get for free in the marketplace
If it’s not owned by inpvp it’s all that matters
i feel like the next featured server COULD be something like PrimeGames because they have pretty origanal content they would take a bit of a risk doing it but there is a bunch of games and they use the voting for minecraft bedrock edition to get different ranks that alternatlly you could buy but it fits most of the riquirments other then have a established start as their server currently gets about 40 players at good times.
Hyper lands should be the next one, it would be pretty nice and cool, from a sweat pov, I love hyperlands, you never get bored

The only paid thing that I have in Minecraft Bedrock is the Pac-Man map and it was made by Gamemode One and I really enjoy it, it would be great for them to make a server

personally, I think Mojang should leave it at a vote for what we, the actual Bedrock players, want as the next featured server; I am sick of servers like pixel paradise and want something better

i would honestly love to see a pvp practice server to come to the featured server list like ectary or zeqa although i dont really think this is going to happen
It would be really nice. But Zeqa doesn't have much establishment and it pretty much only has duels with just a couple of ranks as monetizable content. So it probably won't happen

And by the way it cost me $310 to get in OptiPlex 990 with a graphics card that costed me $80 and the $310 is just the total and I still think it was worth it because of all that that I post in the comments I meant posted in the other comments
For me, they should add Hypixel Pocket Edition that would be insane
Not really as in hypixel already is big on java and nothing compares to it
So if it was on bedrock we would have major issues
The amount of players joining crashing on day 1
It will be killing out every single bedrock server we got which would be unfair to hive galaxite and cubecraft
And i do not think that mobile can handel some of the hypixel games
(I feel like mojang should focus on consoles and pc but thats my opinion on that)

I like that but I wish Xbox and PS5 could use the custom servers without messing up your settings but they need to do that and fix it it's annoying I want to play a server my friends are on also I think they might add hypixel bedrock I don't know but it would kinda make sense but they should team up with the hypixel creators because Microsoft owns Minecraft and they can get it done let's just hope we don't steal that server too like we did to the hive

I know it has a long way to go but look at the grind that ZEQA Xoops server he used to own is doing. Even though it’s only pvp a lot of hive sweats are switching to ZEQA because of competition. Even if it doesn’t become featured it could still be used to hold pvp like events between all servers. I think it’s really going to be a great year for their server
