I think they might re-enlist him if SEGA decide to do an Unleashed Remaster. Becaus they will probably do an animation similar to Rise of the Wisps which they will bring Jason back for. I believe this as they did bring back Tails' voice actress Kate Higgins from Colours, Generations and Lost World for Rise of the Wisps
If Sega used NYAV post, Ryan and his fellow actors would've played their respective characters in California, while the other characters are dubbed in New York.
Since the 4kids headquarters was in NY, they decided to give the role to Jason because he already lived there. And they also thought Jason’s voice fitted better for Sonic. Ryan offered to move to NY to keep the role of Sonic, but SEGA denied and let him and the rest of the Dreamcast crew go.

As much as I love Jason's voice, as a voice actor myself, I'm not sure how I feel about AI voices. The delivery just seems, well, very robotic at times, and just doesn't fit the scene in a lot of cases. It also just feels wrong not to have Ryan reading these lines, y'know? Not a mod I'd use personally, and I'm definitely not a fan of AI voices for this context, but it's interesting.
That's cuz of the limitations of elevenlabs. All that's being done here really is feeding text to a sound generator, with little to no information on emotion or emphasis, beyond the voice-samples that already exist. I think that the real future of AI voice is best shown through some of the AI-voiced song videos that have started popping up on YT. There's some genuinely scarily-good stuff in there.

This is pretty cool. It's almost like if Adventure 2 updated to have the Sonic X 4kids cast. But I doubt Jason would approve of this since most voice actors are against A.I. for using their voices without permission.
An interesting detail that still to this day I find funny, Eggman didn't know about the fake emerald, he only found out because Tails thought Eggman already knew, but he didn't. Tails almost botched the plan by not thinking of the variable that Eggman wouldn't easily discover. Incidentally, the AI is reaching a point where it can almost perfectly replicate a person's voice. I think whoever made the mod should have used the AI RVC, as it does a really good job replacing the voices.

Ironic as Jason would play Sonics voice around 2002 or 3 after adventure 2 ended Jason took over for sonic for almost a decade. And now hes played by Roger Craig Smith whos been playing Sonic since 2010 up to now in 2023. Damn! Hes been playing sonic for 13 years now! :O
I would love to see one done later on when AI voices are a little bit more advanced and more consistent. Sometimes it sounds nothing like Jason at all, and sometimes it’s spot on.

It doesn't get well sometimes, but you know, actually this could get nice as there are a lot of Jason Griffith voice clips out there to train that AI, as Sonic there are whole games and Sonic X voiced by him.
You know what would be really cool? AI having Drummond do Sonic in '06. Back in 2006 when that game came out everyone hated Jason Griffith for it and demanded Ryan Drummond come back. I would love to see him opposite Lacy Chabaret.
This does make me wish Ryan could of did Shadow The Hedgehog, Rush 2005, and Sonic riders. Then Jason do rivals the Olympics and the rest till 2012. Then our current boy does 2013- till now.
Its interesting how some of the dialogue sounds just like Jason, but because the ai is programmed to match Ryan's speech patterns, Jason sounds completely unrecognizable. "So, in there?"
While it sounds very robotic, I like the way some lines are said so smoothly and calmly, making it sound like he's bored before the battle even begins.
I like how the lines overlap and cut out. The original game seemed a bit rushed. The bosses seem super easy. Is that because of the video showcase or because of the original game?

I actually like some of the line changes, especially at Eggman's hidden base. It makes more sense in context compared to Sonic casually mentioning the shuttle.
Jason’s AI voice doesn’t really fit sonic adventures,it kinda made Sonic feel a bit more plain because his voice isn’t intended to be here but I mean I don’t really hate it 😅
I thought you would have tried to use voice clips from Sonic X since the Adventure games were retold in the anime, but I applaud you for trying Jason's voice with the actual games dialogue. I think the tone from the AI voice isn't quite right. I'm sure if Jason was actually reading the lines in Sonic's voice it would have a better flow to how Jason approaches Sonic's lines in the games he was in.
I see why they always make the A.I. vice a jerk in A.I. videos, sometimes the emotions sound flat, but anger seems to always work, and sometimes Sonic seems angry when his not meant to be angry, but it's still so cool, and the A.I. clearly getting there, which is scary but cool with this people could try to make the true Japanese translate, tho it most likely won't work as Japanese can be faster then English
