- Bridgerton star Adjoa Andoh has apologised for upsetting people after her comments about the royal family's race caused a backlash on social media, according to Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
The actress shocked viewers when sharing her thoughts on the royal family's Buckingham Palace appearance, remarking that the balcony was "terribly white".
"The only criteria for being on the balcony is that they're senior members of the family who, by the way, happen to be white," Mr Morgan said.
"When was that a crime?"

The fact that Adjoa Andoh can make overtly racist remarks and not be worried in the least of losing her job or being shunned from polite society, just goes to show how the double standard flourish's in the news media, Hollywood, comedy, sports, music and politics. In fact, the white women who laughed (whoever she is), is more at risk than Adjoa from any consequences of her blatant racist dogma.

@You Kay Face it, per capita B people have more racists then W people. It's usually fed by their inflated sense of entitlement that the entertainment industry and government gives them. Acknowledging facts is one thing. Treating someone different just because they are part of an stigmatized group is another. I try to remain neutral on an individual basis and give people the benefit of the doubt while also maintaining my physical/societal safety. But I do generally the same for W people.
Group stigmas exist so you aren't caught off guard, they aren't meant to be a judge and jury.
So don't overthinking things. Dislike people for their actions, not for what they are.

None of these statements are okay and whether people like it or not the majority of countries in this world are by majority inhabited by those who originate from it. If she (the actress) doesn't like the Royal Family that's her business and she has a right to express her feelings, however, she doesn't have the right to make racist comments. But I'm pretty sure she'll never see it as such (that in fact, it was a racist comment) and only apologised because she got major backlash and not because she knows she said something wrong.

I was not aware of them. I can speak for the rest of the country. I assume that they are not all that close to the main “tree”.
