- On Thursday, ‘Good Morning Britain’s’ weatherman, Alex Beresford, responded to Pier Morgan quitting the show following their on-air debate over the treatment of Meghan Markle, following the Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey. Beresford explained in a statement posted to Twitter on Thursday that Morgan quitting the program wasn’t the outcome he was hoping for. The weather expert wished the journalist well, and also expressed his gratitude for Morgan, who he says has given him advice throughout his career.

Her sperm donor, and her half sister from hell told one lie after another, and she couldn’t defend herself. The sperm donor is so stupid and hungry for money, he sold the letter to the tabloids and the letter provided that he had been lying all along.

I do agree that we all should be able to have a civil debates. However, everyone on certain subjects will not always have that civil debate. Arguments like the one on good morning britain happen all the time in real life sometimes because of a lack of understanding, or simply because that person sticks with that opinion. I think what megan Markle has done with Harry is seriously damaging to the royal family. And the fact they still are in the public spot light in America tells us that they do eant this attention especially to go talk about serious allegations on the interview with Oprah. This matter should have been delt with privately and not in the Public like this because this has caused so much divided opinions across britain and in the US

I don’t agree with you regarding this being a private matter, though. It’s important to bring out from under the rug issues of mental health and racism. To continue to address these things privately is to continue doing the same as we’ve been doing, allowing history and the negative outcomes that have come from stigmatizing discussions of mental health and racism to continue. In the bigger scheme of things, I also don’t agree that this will damage the institution of the monarchy in the long-run given how there have been scandals relating to European monarchies for centuries, and yet the institution still stands in several of these countries. This, like those, will be a blip in history. It only seems like a big deal right now because it’s happening in our time. I was disappointed in the Harry and Meghan interview.
The fact is they chose to leave the uk to live their own life. During the exit they expressed that the press was unrelenting and causing them stress. Its sad that they were treated unkind by the british press but the fact of the matter is all public figures must deal with positive and negative press and not take it personally. Also the interview was focused on family relationship issues which even American Anglos know that family issues are private and must be dealt with privately not in a public interview which seems to be the manner in which the Markle family as a whole deals with their dysfunction.
