Same, I finally now know all of me, my brother's, and my cousin's training philosophies and theories were all dog shit. Seeing as from watching this channel each monster is trained differently, though it's mostly if you do want to achieve 999 all stats, but still it makes me feel kinda' dumb.
I never knew the Pot and Sculpture had an extra effect on loyalty like that. I remember being disappointed when I found out the fatigue/stress effects only trigger when the monster is about to take a lifespan hit. Great work as usual.

Ya'know, I never even considered freezer juggling to raise a monster purely on week 4 so they're constantly getting the stress reduction of getting fed.

Though I'm playing DX so I'm not able to use bananas to extend lifespan, it's still neat to see this method in action.

Absolutely absurd. More rewarding and easier to raise one like a normal person and combine to start with higher stats. This may be the most tedious training I have ever seen. Kudos for having that kind of patience. 0% chance I will ever try anything like this.

I never had the patience for Banana+freezer methods, I maxxed out my jokers by combining to have a strong starting point, and only freezering through prime (with peaches.) Congrats though! I never knew many ranchers who had the patience to raise a maxxed out Joker! That bad nature scares people off, lol.

Durahan is alot easier than this joker, 2 hard drill 1 ski normal, rest week 4, oil after each hard drill. But this method lack of int, but great pow def lif and ski. This method work on zuu too.

Hey, you know how sometimes before a drill, a monster will ask for items or rest or to play or something (y'know like what happens at 10:11)? Does anyone know why that is and does it also boost a success rate if you say yes or boost a failure/cheat rate if you say no?
If your monster is tired, it will ask to rest.
If your monster lacks motivation, it might request for something. What it requests for depends on the monster's style. If the style is "Doting" it will ask to play next week.
Saying "yes" or "no" to the monster's request has no effect on the success rate of the drill. Saying "no" gives the monster a bit of stress
The success rate depends on the monster's life stage, the number of stars on the drill, how tired the monster is, and how much fear it has (more fear = higher chance of success).
The cheat rate depends on the monster's motivation and nature (bad and worst natured monsters tend to cheat more)
Question: is 5 sculptures and 5 Gemini’s Pot necessary? I though that the effects of reducing fatigue and stress happens with 1, 2, and 3 of each, more than 3 does not add any benefit.
I wasn't using them for reducing Fatigue and Stress
They actually have a secondary effect:
Sculpture: +1 Spoil on the 1st week of the month
Gemini's Pot: +1 Fear on the 1st week of the month
The actual effect of Magic Banana during the Adult Stage is -10 Spoil, -10 Fear, +1 Lifespan
The Gemini's Pots and Sculptures are used to compensate for the -10 Spoil, -10 Fear from Magic Banana
Without them, my Joker would end up with 0 loyalty (since Loyalty is the average between Spoil and Fear)

but i wonder when is the best time to give gold peach and silver peach on general raising method (like drugs one or no rest one) to a monster? this far i only gave them after prime stage when i notice the stats gaining less but i don't actually know is it the best time or not
Silver Peach: 25 weeks after your monster enters Prime stage
Gold Peach: 50 weeks after Silver Peach
@@teawch so you have to feed them peaches during their prime stage instead of after the stage done?
@@jwibao Yes, the purpose of feeding them peaches is to extend the duration of their prime stage
There are 2 Prime stages:
Prime 1 has the maximum gains possible
Prime 2 has 1 less gain than Prime 1
For example, a Zuum training Pull during Prime 1 will get +14 to + 17 in Pow, but in Prime 2, it will get +13 to + 16 in Pow
If you feed it peaches at the end of Prime 1, it might go back to adolescent stage and waste some weeks in adolescent stage
If you feed it peaches at the end of Prime 2, it will spend more weeks in Prime 2 instead of Prime 1
As long as you're still in Prime stage after feeding peaches, the result is acceptable
@@teawch aside of the number of stats gained higher is there other thing to notice the monster is on prime stage, i get confused a lot about this
@@jwibao The monster gets bigger when you go from adolescent to prime stage. There's no difference in size when it goes from prime stage to elder to old age
If you're play Monster Rancher 2 DX on Switch or Steam, when your monster first enters prime stage, Colt will notify you that from now on, your monster's growth will depend on how you raise them
I trained a Joker/Tiger. My Tiger has some techs and I fuse with Joker
The monster lived almost eight years and I did 999 in int/skill and 700 in other status.
I not send him to errantry because he has techs but I not learn the special tech because the nature was good but I like to have an experience to train a Joker. Is a powerfull and killer monster

I'm not making a combining guide anytime soon, but here's what I believe is true right now:
1. If main breed of the main parent monster is different from the main breed of the baby, only up to 4 techs can be passed on, namely 1 sharp, 1 heavy, 1 withering, and 1 hit tech.
2. The number of techniques passed on is 2-4 moves less than the number of techniques of the main monster (1st monster selected), not the second one. Ex: If the parent monster has 7 techniques, the combined monster will have 5 techniques
3. Special Techs don't get passed on and don't get counted towards the number of techniques passed on
4. If a technique is part of a tech chain, the number of times the tech is used gets passed on. Ex: If a parent Zuum used Tail Lash 50 times in battle, the baby Zuum can learn Tail Lashes without having to use Tail Lash 50 times in battle (if Tail Lash gets passed on to the baby)

In the psx version you can technically make him live forever if you’re up for resetting every failed magic banana haha! I wonder if this guide is different with the new dx version
It will be different since we can't abuse Magic Bananas and monsters have 100 less weeks of lifespan.
To raise a Joker to max stats on the DX, I would raise a Suezo/Plant and a Joker/Tiger, then combine them to get a Joker with 300-400 starting stats and raise that 2nd gen Joker to max stats using the no rest method

I wouldn't really call the Magic Banana method "efficient" since it requires a lot of resets. The No-rest method is better in terms of time efficiency (including for Aging types 2 and 4)

Why do you have to freeze it often? What does freezing do?
Freezing keeps the monster from aging during weeks 1-3
The goal is to give Tablet to the monster after every week of training since Tablets reduce stress. In order to do that, the monster has to only train on the 4th week

Real increases the damage dealt, not the stats, so stats will remain at 999

@@teawch Hi tea, another question. Monol has tech chain knock ->2knocks->3 knocks. They are special tech. so can't be inherited. But does their usage inherited? e.g. I used knock 50 times, it will carry over?

it will take 18 years when your joker age reach 6 and you can train him normally with this method. So we have to train at least 3 other monster if each of them have lifespan 6-7 years because you only train joker in weeks 4. I don't think 200000 G is enough, at least we need 300000 G..
It would actually take 24 years to reach age 6 with this method. That's 3 Zuums (a Zuum can live for 9 years if you just keep resting).
200,000G is enough since I switch to another method at around 5.5 years (7:01)

Yes, it works for any monster.
Note that on the DX, Magic Bananas don't have the lifespan increase effect anymore, so you would swap it out for Nuts Oil

Hahaha I wasted my time and my money, I just realized this is MR2 and I've been playing mr2dx version. Which means the magic banana doesn't have the same effects as this version. But I still got my joker to 7y 1month. Also can someone give me a monster combination for joker?
You can use the Combination Calculator on Legendcup to plan out your combinations: legendcup.com/combocalc-mr2.php
If you want to combine 2 monsters to create a Joker, go to the Target Result section and select Joker/Joker, then click on Suggest Parents
If you want to find a partner to combine with your Joker, enter your Joker's stats into Parent 1, then click Suggest Baby and choose a target monster. After that, click Suggest Parents and check "Keep Parent 1"
Note that in MR2DX, there are many variants and the combinations will not work as planned unless you select the right variant in the calculator

1. Sculpture and Gemini's Pot only works when your monster's fatigue and stress reach the value of 34. With your math here, you aren't even going to trigger the effect of 1 Sculpture and Pot, let alone 5. 8 inventory slots already wasted.
2. While it is true that their effects are cumulative, the calculation is different that you might expect. If you MUST hold onto Sculpture and Pot, 3 of each is enough, but you still need to get fatigue/stress value above 34 for them to take effect.
3. NEVER use peaches just for the sake of "extending" your monster's life. The best time to use peaches is during the middle or end of your monster's prime, so you can extend the time you get the best stat ups from your monster.
4. The "4th-week only" training method is NOT a must here. A Joker's base life span is 350 weeks. The Magic Banana method can give you quite some weeks to work on your monster without the need of freezing it.
I don't mean tu be an ingrate. but when La Parka is playig this. How come nowbody let me tortuer them.
its easier to just do banana every week and no other item,less effort than just revive on 4th week,not to disregard ur effort,but i feel its just take too long,especially if u already know how to do banana scumming,dont even need the peach also if u just do banana and your monster can live forever,the downside is they have 0 loyalty
