It’s crazy how many different sounds can come out of the V6 cars. The i6, VR6, and flat 6s are obviously different configuration.

Redge Diakité True. If I were designing an exhaust for a V6 engine, I would definitely join the two banks so it doesn’t sound like two three cylinder engines.

Philipp Behrendt: Ohja, den fahre ich seit 11 Jahren. Aber: Der 5-Zylinder-Sound des RS3 ist besser -- bestellt isser, muss noch ein paar Monate warten. :-)
Der R32 klingt allerdings etwas blechern, ihm fehlt der Bass. Trotzdem hab ich mich jahrelang schwer getan, einen würdigen Nachfolger zu finden -- aber das hab ich ja nun. :-D
ja der 5 zylinder sound ist auch mega geil gefällt mir auch sehr gut. ich bin ja vw und audi fan von dem her 😍😍😍😍
Where's all the manual transmissions??? THEY sound the best. Especially the Mk4 R32! The BMW M50 and the 911 would also have sounded way better with a manual...oh well

I was expecting the VR6 engine golf R32 to be the best but the Alfa's engine note is sublime especially considering it is a 6 cylinder and turbocharged.

You are correct and I’m a bmw guy to the fullest, currently have 3 in my driveway. I love my F80 M3 (my second one) but not at all that excited with any aftermarket exhaust I’ve heard. I will said she sounds nice when you ride her hard.
One thing I hope people realize is that no matter the type of 6 cylinder engine configuration but all have of them the exact same noise but except they have different tones of how they sound like inline 6 vs v6 they both have the same noise but different tones
Firing order and plenty of other things are taken into account your oversimplification is actually incorrect

Ja, der Jaguar ist schon pervers laut und dennoch verdammt melodisch klingend. Sofern es dir un dem Rest gefällt war die Idee für jede "Zylinder-Klasse" eigene Videos zu machen....4-Zylinder sind als nächstes dran:)

Wir sind gerade dabei mal Material zu sichten...5-Zylinder wird naturgemäß ne Audi Domäne, aber bei 8-Zylindern haben wir richtig ordentlich was, 6-Zylinder sind heutzutage schon fast seltener als 4 oder 8 ;)
Automann-TV Da hast Du recht. Mittlerweile sind es entweder aufgeladene 4-Zylinder oder gleich 8-Zylinder. Bin da irgendwie 6-Zylinder-geprägt von BMW früher. Dieser heiser kreischende Rennsound ist traumhaft, wobei ich zugeben muss, dass nur 8-Zylinder eine solche Macht und gnadenlose Souveränität ausstrahlen.
Automann-TV 4 Zylinder gewinnt dann wohl der cla :)

KayTwo25 Na ja, es ist der gleiche Motor, nur im ///M2 mit Twinscroll-Monoturbo und im ///M4 mit Biturbo.
Schluter1899 soweit ich weiß ist im m2 noch der n55 motor und im m3/m4 der s55 motor
Jonas Wie Richtig, ist aber 1:1 ein identisches Triebwerk, nur mit anderen Turboladern, anderer Software und zum Teil anderen Beschichtungen, die an die Leistung des Motors angepasst sind.

Basically:
R32, GTR, GT3 4.0/GT2 RS/GT4, E46 M3/M2, F-Type, Exige Sport/Cup 430, Ford GT all time greats.
Wahnsinn, dieser R35 in der Tiefgarage... oder der Golf R32... traumhaft. Und natürlich der 911, ist einfach ein Konzert auf 4 Rädern!

That Nissan Z sounds so clean and harmonious. German brands are definitely cooler looking but the Giulia and Nissan Z sound so sharp

Für mich ganz klar der C43 AMG! Sorry M3 und RS5, aber leider nicht wirklich kraftvoll im Klang...
Danach kommt ganz klar Nissan GTR und der Jag. Nur meine Meinung als bescheidener V8 Fahrer 😉
SPRCRS für mich ist der gtr mit weitem Abstand vorne ... ich finde dieses gekünstelte dsg gefurze beim schalten echt schrecklich ... ursprünglich fingen ja die kleinen 4zylinder damit an und kommen auch die alt eingesessen Sportler wie nen m3 oder ( ganz schlimm und extrem ) nen rs5 damit an ...
Da ist der gtr noch „echt“ und zudem klingt er nicht so heiser Bzw Hohl sondern schon nach power , die er definitiv auch hat
Hm, ich denke es ist Geschmackssache. Der Nissan klingt definitiv sehr gut. Allerdings ist der GT-R schon arg veraltet und wird von den anderen in Sachen Leistung schon überflügelt. Daher weis ich nicht ob ich nicht lieber Fahrleistung statt Klang hätte...
ExtremeDeathman zum therma Fahrleistung und der gtr immernoch ganz weit vorne ... grad was Preis / Leistung angeht .... ich meine unter 3 Sekunden (2,8 sek) ... Welcher Wagen kann da mithalten ... richtig , keiner der gezeigten Fahrzeuge ...und wenn ein Auto rankommt dann ist der Wagen auch 3x so teuer.... zum Thema alte Technik , der rb26 wurde 20 fast unverändert gebaut ....
Der nächste gtr wird sicher noch den ähnlichen Motor verwenden jedoch mit hoher warscheinlichkeit gepaart mit nem e-motor
Patrick Eggert richtig von den gezeigten Fahrzeuge schafft es keiner, aber es braucht doch keine 6 Zylinder und großartig Krach. der p100d braucht 2,4 Sekunden auf hundert und die GT electric Variante nur 2,1 Sekunden. das sind Welten und das ganze auch noch wesentlich komfortabler und mit deutlich mehr Platz.
SPRCRS die Videos verfälschen leider immer und in Reallife hört sich das ganze dann bei dem ein oder anderen Fahrzeug deutlich besser an. den C43 Klang finde ich eher armselig. Der S55 im. M3 ist bekanntermaßen auch ziemlich dünn und akustisch noch deutlich hinter dem N55. finde den Alfa ganz ansprechend wie gesagt alles in Reallife denn auf dem Video kommt es nicht mal ansatzweise vernünftig rüber
Alfa or Jag for me. Please do a similar video for 4c, 8c, 10c and 12c :)

I always loved Nissan’s v6 sound. Smooth and nice, unlike the new farting and crackling engines. That’s the only thing I really don’t like on my M2.
