“We are looking to recruit consultants in emergency medicine primarily,” states Wayne Kissoon, Clinical Lead for Emergency Medicine at QEQM, Margate. However, “we welcome people with any special interest,” he adds, including in such fields as paediatrics, ITU and elderly care.
He also highlights the new Kent and Medway Medical School, an exciting collaboration between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent, that aims to educate aspiring doctors to train to deliver 21st century medicine.
