It was a great easy show at the Devon. I have been mixing this group for the last 8 years and this is still one of my favorite venues!! Roger Boyd: Keyboards, Vocals; Darren Walker: Lead Vox and Bass Guitar; Greg Manahan: Bass, Guitar, Vocals; Mark Murtha: Lead Guitar, Vocals; Eddy Jones: Drums, Vocals; Matt, the Duff, Duffy Road Crew, Derrick, Big D, Weller: Lighting Director; Bill Schnake: Mix Engineer. We all thank you for letting us continue on after all of these years.
I was turned on to Head East in 1986 by my bunk mate Lance Corporal Hendrix while in the Marine Corps stationed at Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Air Station Hawaii! I’ve listened to them ever since!
1975 at Rapid City South Dakota High School gym ( I think it was) I'm 17 years old, Air Force Security Police, and WASTED! They blew one side of their sound system but fixed right away. OH What Blurry Memories !!!
Oh man, I like the studio version’s final release on the album, not any altered variations! A great song and fabulous sound on the album. I’m not big on varied arrangements, when the original release is so much better than a live version.
One of the most underrated bands ever some people still don't know 😢
50 Years Later .. it's still a great song !!!
Absolutely. !
Now that's Rock and Roll
Why is there not like 50000 people shown in this kick ass vid? Rock on, Head East, Save my MFing life!
Because they are Dinosaurs and have not done anything New since the 70s
The Same Reason Cab Calloway did not Draw Audiences in the 70s.

Love this song you guys did a killer 'live of this great song.
Roger Boyd only remaining original member still putting on a show.
John Schlitt is pretty original, been with them from the 70s. By the way, I just popped a Quaalude.
Yeah, I definitely remember this one! Great memories!

Excellent!!
Original lead singer John Schlitt's current band Petra does "Never Been Any Reason" is spot on with this song!
Petra was one of my favorites when I was younger, Head East too!
You're right. I just saw that a few days ago and they rocked it perfectly. Much bigger band...very polished.

Just Growing up 😊
Opened 2 shows for these guys back in 1990. The only original member at that time was the keyboard player. Not sure who is in the band now.
Same original member - the keyboardist
Great band
I Still See A Stack of Pancakes,LMAO
Not the same band I saw with the same name in 1977 who were fantastic, this one perhaps a decent tribute.
Uh.. ok
