I'm older, like 60+. How in the hell did folks your age even FIND this gem? I'd thought it to have been long forgotten. It's never even played on the radio anymore. Not in decades. As for your performance? I'm watching this again. Out-Damn-Standing.

As a 63 year old who remembers when Head East first did this song I think that they would be proud of how these young people covered their song. That sounded really good. I especially loved the cowbell. I don't remember Head East using a cowbell in their original

For many decades I have played this rock classic whenever I need to bring my spirits up and simply feel good and.rock out for a bit. I always thought I was part of a really small club adoring this song. To see these youth doing such a great rendition was so much fun. They did an amazing job. Thanks!

i've already watched this video about 20 times! maybe rock is NOT dead....still dead i think but the exuberance of these musicians is infectious...maybe they can be the saviors of the genre....tight harmonics on the guitar toward the end of the song...infectious is the only way i can describe this video and visually satisfying to boot! ROCK ON!
I played in many bands in Jr. and Sr. high school - these kids have no idea how friggin good they are. Top to bottom, everyone, just rockin. Great band. Great song. Great groove.

I could have followed my dream but I confused singing Rock-N-Roll and using drugs and alcohol. At age 23 I walked away from the microphone and dedicated my life to saving lives and I entered the medical field.
Now I'm a disabled veteran and disabled RN. I'd rather have given up the dope and continue to make people happy just being alive and dancing like nobody was watching.😮

@snsllytle1 It's a large group of musicians that all play together. If you notice some of the videos have different musicians but some of the same ones from this one, they're all friends.

I'm a musician in Texas. Didn't expect much when I clicked on here, but I'm diggin' you guys. This is a tricky song to play right, and you guys pretty much nail it.
Head East was a great band, nice cover but way too much distraction with the jumping around. This isn’t and easy song to perform,

This is about 6 years old now , I hope a number of these musicians have found some success in the music business. That vocal harmony was top notch.

Wow, what talented young musicians, fantastic vocals, and just the right amount of cowbell. Seeing the pure joy of playing rock and roll so evident in this band, especially when it all comes together like it did on this song, makes me smile every time I watch. It's been five years, but I hope wherever they all are now they still carry that joy of making music with them. Thank you.
This song was a BIG minor hit back in the 70's. Oxymoron I know, but Head East was a band everyone that heard of them thought would much bigger. It's a classic by any standard and you guys killed it. 🔥 🤘

I'm 63. Grew up with listening to the great bands like head east and many others. It is great that the younger musicians are keeping their legacy alive. Thanks, this young band are great and doing honor to Head East.

I'm 63 and seeing these kid play the music of my younger years made me smile too.
In 1985 my band and I covered a Blue Oyster Cult song at a Holiday Inn in Texas,, we got thrown out,, don't know why. The manager kept saying this hotel is a family environment.
