  • Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson has quite the temper. Unsurprisingly, this has lead to him feuding with a number of notable figures in the heavy metal genre - so with that in mind let’s take a look at some of the rockers who can’t stand Bruce Dickinson.

Like the guy everybody got their ways as a long time hard core Iron maiden fan since 1987 seen Iron maiden live concerts at least 7 or 8 times since 1990. And seen Bruce being vocal at fan's or concert goers in Iron maiden concert a few times. First time I saw Iron maiden live in 1990 in Tacoma dome he went off at a fan for doing something disrespecting him I think he said he stop the concert to literally beat him up. But he went on with the concert. Second time I think if memory right Bruce went off at a fan for recording the live concert with a cellphone this was early 2000's when cellphones were kinda common. And before the recent recording of Bruce went off on a fan concert goer he did the same thing in the early 2000's at another fan for smoking Marijuana/pot I think he doesn't like when concert goers smoke pot so close to the stage when he's trying to sing it distracts him from singing. And looses concentration. I personally think he doesn't have a issue with Marijuana/pot it just when he trying to preform and sing when he has a issue with it. He also went off at a security guard at a 2019 legacy of the beast tour in Tacoma dome. For beating up a fan concert goer

Damn! He’s got a damn good memory. Why do you think he calls out people like Rob and Ozzy? Seems like it’d be cooler to just be happy his memory is so much better and less likely to have dementia in old age. Cool but seemingly intermittently rude and insensitive. Similar with Gene Simmons. My personal experiences meeting him multiple times (including being on stage with him at a birthday show in Windsor) were fantastic. Total class act. But he’s definitely been a documented dick to others at times. People are just people. And when in public eye, our good and bad are highlighted and both exist. Is what it is I guess…

      Yeah, sure
They rolled the carpet out for Maiden, super respect to give 5 shows at their mega venue- so, she flipped out this bad just because dick said he doesn't watch their show?
One of their band members also apologized for manchilds disrespectful mouth and behavior, how sad they enable and babysit that scuz,, this is why sabbath fired Ozzy and once I heard he instructed his blind force fans to break people's arms that throw shit at him and he is a 40/50yr old man- that was it, I'm aok to forgive bad words, mean behavior, ect, but THAT is the most dangerous type of person and he should have been banned from any venue for life.
Also, whether it's a public or private show, messing with the bands power is disgraceful, Sharron gave Maiden great praise but she should have been scrutinized more for the disrespect to the fans and band, no one wants this drama when paying to see the band you came for
      All in all, handled badly
Yet, I'll side with Sharron because I'm sick of cause and effect situations where effect is blamed, a wise mind can easily see that if a cause wasn't initiated, an effect wouldn't happen
So, obviously dickinson is a complete pile of crap, not hard to figure out seeing his band knew it, the managers knew it day after day and just think how many dozens of bands play Ozzyfest and we have never heard any childish drama until the anger boy thought he was king and got his paper crown crushed with egg on his face, 🤣

@CVM GAM You're doubting what I wrote? The meeting I described in detail happened when Bruce came to Toronto for the Accident of Birth Tour in 1997. It was at the Government Bar. (Not sure about the spelling.) Look it up. I first met him in 1994 when he released Tears of the Dragon as a single and came to Much Music in Toronto on July 11. I know the date because it was my birthday. I then met him 2 more times, one of which was at the Brave New World concert in 2000/20001 and again in 2003. Are you jealous? Not sure why you question me.

The most courteous thing to in any public situation to simply light it up outside or ingest the stuff in some way that does not produce smoke when in a crowd of people.

One of the roommates was a drummer who loved Iron Maiden and especially Bruce, who was his idol. He happened to be the only one home when Bruce called the house to do an interview with the magazine roommate. "Hello, this is Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden..I'm calling for..Drummer,"Yeah, sure. I was at that show in 98 in Québec, I remember being blown away by the opening act I had never heard of. I do not remember Axl saying anything to the crowd about speaking French. Doesn't mean it didn't happen but also means if it did it didn't draw much attention as the population here tends to take hard notice of stuff like that. Of course G'n'R and Maiden are quite different and I wouldn't want it any other way so in that regard I don't take offense to the comments Axl is said to have made about Maiden here. My 2¢.

Many of the musicians from those days are worth $50 or $60 million and Ozzy is worth about $200 million, but most of Ozzy's former musicians are only worth about $5 million each and that's after touring with Ozzy for years. Ozzy wouldn't have sold one ticket or 45 record without them. That tells you everything you need to know about how Ozzy and Sharon treated his band members.

edit: You DO have to be some kind of asshole to blow weed smoke in a septogenerian's face when he's trying to sing you a song, though, it must be said. Especially when the bass player also really doesn't like the smell. When he says "go out the back to smoke that sh*t", the man sort of has a point. At least fall back to the middle rows. And I say that as an avid pot smoker... Just my two cents. Up the Irons, either way.

He also battled throat cancer so breathing smoke is not his thing. So be it. Lastly, with all due respect, Sharon Osbourne wouldn’t even have name recognition if it weren’t for Ozzy. Good lord, he’s entitled to not be Mr. Lovely all the time. Love Bruce warts and all.

He said that surprisingly, he doesn't partake in the cannabis consumption because he doesn't like the way it makes him feel and that was that. He never berated anyone present at anytime. I think that a lot of times people tend to not understand the crudeness and directness of some Brits.
