  • It always makes me a tad nervous to do review videos comparing bikes as I know people that have their heart set on THE ONE tend to be defensive of their bikes. I will outline 3 bikes I think meet the same niche and price range for the market and hopefully it will help some folks on the edge of a decision pick the way they want to go.

Enjoyed the video, but see if you can up your production chops a bit. Speak close to the mic and take out some of the mid-range EQ of the music so your voice cuts through. Edit the audio to tighten things up a bit and take out coughs and such. Great show though, will keep an eye on your channel :).

10 4, thanks for the tips, I had an updated version of this video where I sussed it out a bit more, glad you enjoyed it and I will be beefing up production soon I hope.

Good comparison. I had a couple of 250l's and I'd take my GPX 250e or 300r over them any day of the week no matter what kind of riding. The GPX bikes are superior in every way except road comfort.

Thanks a ton for the Kudos on this, I think one of the last big draws of these overweight under suspended bikes it's for the beginner Rider who's wrench challenged as well. Unfortunately this video only lasted about 6 minutes on the CRF 300L page lol.

I enjoyed the content. The only thing I struggled with a little was discerning what you were saying sometimes over the music. That could just of been my bad hearing so take it with a grain of salt. Thanks for making this comparison video.

Thanks a ton I noticed on some pcs and the phone the music was OK but on my wife's phone and a few computers it was a bit overpowering. I am making sure to address that. I also put an updated version on this video up at the request of Jason from Orion to address shipping info and the music was tamed on that version

Forgot to mention pending getting some more info from time from GPX I will be doing the KLX300/300R video next tuesday.

@@stoplogicmotorsports Try a usb headset with mic. That can give you a decent and very consistent sound, as the mic is always the same distance from your voice.

Liked the content. Music too loud. My hearing is old. Like me. BRAP. BRAP. 😂

Apparently Orion offers Free shipping, I will be amending the video to reflect that. To clarify both bikes Orion and GPX provide nearly all upgraded billet parts. Sorry Jason, you can feel free to publicly flog me lol.

I'm really curious about your comparison to the KLX300 and/or KLX300R. I have a KLX300 and wonder if I'd be better off switching to a KLX300R or something else. I really don't ride on the road any more (with the exception of connecting trails in places where that's available), so a trail bike made street legal might be a better compromise for me. Been thinking either the KLX300R or a WR250F. Could a GPX be a good bike for me?

I will low key be honest, the klx250 has a very special spot in my heart since I did a ton of racing on them in the 90s. I was planning on doing the KLX dual sport and the klx300r separately but I could do them at the same time if you want head-to-head comparison. To answer your question specifically about GPX that would be a question that boils down to how mechanically inclined you are. I will see if I can get that video out next week and answer any questions you have.

Looking at next week I will be out of town in training until thursday, I will try and get the KLX video together to go Tuesday but if not I have a decent backup ready to go.

Oh so next video you plan to bash my KLX lol? I also do not sound like that much of a Huckleberry geez lol.

    • @stoplogicmotorsports

Actually your KLX will be a lot harder to bash. You do know I used to race a 1990s KLX, and even if my tone and video towards a CRF didn't seem very complimentary I still have a soft spot for every bike I've owned.
