Ok so I just got this last yr in October I can honestly say I love it I thought it was broken not knowing how to really use it. I was so upset I lost the directions and was about to throw it out but then I saw this video. I love my case now it does everything I need it to, also I brought it in purple my favorite color. Now I just throw it in my bag and go I don’t worry about anything anymore. I recommend this to any and everyone. I have the I pad 10.5 version😊
got mine in rose gold and it’s stunning!
Sounds awesome!! I think you’ll love it!!
I didn’t know if any of the other colours had the multi coloured lights as well
I’m shopping around for the rose gold as well with the touch pad. So glad you made your comment. I want it to be rose gold and not pink. Looked at other brands and looked too pink or little girlish. Ty 💛💕💛
Ty for the video Troy. New Sub. This also helped me to decide to purchase! 🛍
Excellent!!! I really think you’re going to love it!!
I’m glad I ordered this case for my iPad Pro. It’s gonna be arriving tomorrow and I’m pretty excited!
That’s awesome! I’m still very much enjoying mine! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
How do you like it
Its amazing ;D
This is a great keyboard case. Just got mine in the mail today! Great tutorial and review Troy.
Awesome!! So glad you decided on this one!! Appreciate the comment and watching!!
This definitely convinced me to buy this. The battery is really good 🔌 👍 😊
Excellent! Yes, the battery life is GREAT! Hope you continue to enjoy it. Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
I connected my old device up to my new one and immediately I subscribed to my man Troy.
Awwww thank you!!!
Wow, this keyboard was amazing for iPad Air 3. Great Battery Life, iPadOS ShortCuts, and Satisfying typing. I am using the iPad for school, and when we go back in campus, I can already imagine it being perfect.
I think you’re really going to enjoy it!! The batter IS GREAT and really makes your iPad much like a laptop!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
Thank you for your honest review. I'm convinced about the TYPECASE Touch iPad Keyboard Case. Believe it or not l'm a newbie to the iPad. I've purchased a iPad now picking up accessories. I'll definitely subscribe to your channel. Thank you!!!☺👍👍👍
I've been looking at this keyboard on Amazon for sometime now, I have the iPad Air 3. But on the Amazon reviews there are so many comment about poor quality that I have held off, and even considered other cases that were two or three times more money. So thanks for the honest review, and for waiting until you had a few months to put it through it paces. It seems like a good value for the money.
Yes, I’ve since transferred this iPad/keyboard to my son, but didn’t have a days trouble with it and he’s doing great with it at college. Just couldn’t bring myself to spend too much for a keyboard case so this suited me well.
Just got mine and playing around with it. Love the green! Im very excited for this!
Awesome!!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Ordered this for my 8th gen iPad really nice looking case.
Yes!!! I think you’ll really like it!! Thanks for commenting!!
My sister first got it and i thought it was a scam until amazon sent it and i was shocked how good it was. She got a gold one im getting black, my fav color is red, it will match with my red LED strips in my room, I heard it takes 2 hours to charge, amazing!
Thanks for watching and commenting!! So glad you liked it.
I just recently bought this in black and its pretty impressive i love it
Thanks for sharing! And glad you like it. I’m still enjoying mine very much! Works perfectly and the battery is still so impressive!
can i get a one month update if it’s still worth it?
I’d say it’s still very worth it. Keyboard worked flawlessly and great battery operation!!
Molly R I love it still it’s very convenient for me and easy to use only thing I wish I had bought was the one with the pad other than that if your looking to buy it go for it
I am getting a light purple one! Can’t wait!!!
Awesome!!
Thanks for the info. I’ve been searching for months for my wife’s birthday. Just ordered one.
Glad I could help! I just know she'll enjoy it! I've now upgraded to an iPad Pro 12.9" and got a very similar case for it (check out that review if you'd like).
I just bought one of these and caught your review. Good to know! thx and will subscribe for future reference and reviews.
Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing!! Hope I can be of help with various tech products!!
i have one of these and ur vid really helped me thxxxx
omggg thxx for liking my comment
I just got the Flexbook Touch (same thing but adding a trackpad) and so far I love it. I like the hinge design, doesn’t seem too flimsy as long as you don’t drop it. Trackpad requires a little getting used to especially from coming from a MacBook but it fits my needs for the iPad. Take note that if there is a little extra space in the case, the box comes with sticky foam that can be used to add padding. The only thing I don’t understand is why there are two USB Type-C ports if you’re only supposed to charge one of them.
I saw the trackpad ones which looked cool. Glad to hear it works well with the iPad. The whole mouse/trackpad thing is still slightly different in how it operates on the iPad but you get used to it. Thanks for sharing your experience!!! Very helpful!!
great vid.... you should have atleast a 100k subs as ur quality is great
Thank you for watching and your kind comment!! I’m working on growing but seems slow. Have to get some new videos out there. Too! Thanks, again!
Gonna get this for my iPad Pro thanks for the review!
Awesome! I think you’re really going to like it! Check out my other review on a new case I just got for my iPad Pro 12.9”. I upgraded from the iPad 7th Gen so had to get a new case too. That one may Interest you as well. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great review, Definitely going to order one!
Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope you enjoy yours!!
Thank you Troy! Great review!👍🏽 I just ordered it.
Awesome! Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
How do you only have 30 subs? I would think you’d have like 100,000 subs cause of this quality
Thank you! I’m just starting out and hopefully will continue to grow. Thanks for the nice words and sub! Need to get more content out. This lockdown sometimes doesn’t motivate me. Hope you are safe!!
Tech Talk with Troy thanks! You stay safe as well!
I bought the Yekbee 360 degree from Amazon. Delivered 3/11/20. Doesn’t have the pencil holder but outside of that they’re the same thing. I really like this case.
Interesting how many are so similarly made. I still can’t get over the battery life on mine. Hardly ever have to charge it. Still loving mine.
Love it Just got mine to day. Had Issues with other keyboards with the hinge breaking so fingers crossed this will hold up with no problems. Loving it so far💕💕💕
Glad to hear! I’ve had no issues at all with mine including the hinge. Stays solid! Hope you’re as satisfied as I have been. Thanks for the comment!!
I just bought one from Amazon and will have it in days.
Thanks for the video it has been very helpful.. like & subscribe
Awesome! I think you’re going to love it! Thanks for the comment and subscribing!! ❤️
This was a great help, thank you!
Thanks for the comment and glad it was helpful!!!
I had problems with a few of the letters not working (qweruiop on the first letter line, all the other keys worked). I took re-paired the keyboard with the iPad and that fixed the problem. I also reset the ipad wireless keyboard settings (turning off auto capitalization, auto-correction and shortcut). I’m wondering if there is some setting that I inadvertently set. Has anyone else seen this quirk?
I had an issue with mine one time and came across a fix for it I think on the Amazon reviews but I could never find the instructions again. Sounds like your procedure worked! Hope it stays that way! Thanks for the helpful hints!!
Thanks for the very comprehensive review.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
I ordered this for my 8th gen because of your review. Thank you for taking the time. Also to point out that it comes in multiple 14? colors including space gray and silver etc.
Awesome! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! Very much appreciated. I know I love that keyboard and think you will too!!
you have awesome videos. thank you for your content 🖤
Thank you! Glad it’s helpful!!
I just brought a brand new iPad 7th generation and this. I let the keyboard charge over night and it still won’t pair to my iPad. It keeps saying pairing unsuccessful
Make sure the keyboard is powered on, and place it in pairing mode. Sometimes you have to turn Bluetooth OFF and then back on in order for it to pair successfully I found. Try that! Hope that helps!
thank you..for your input.... honestly for a while it was working in the body(columns and rows) of the document,,,,, then it quit .... tab only works the heading and editing ... go figure
Great review Troy 👍
Thank you for that comment and encouragement!! Hope it was helpful!
Me watching his channel for the first time:
him: hi I am Troy
me: wait like Troy from high school musical
me: guys I found him
Ha!! I have a coffee mug at home with “Troy” on it and his photo from High School Musical! Too bad, however, no Zack Efron here!
That was a very informative video thank you so much I really appreciate it I cannot get my number to button to work all the rest of the keys work I can't figure it out it's a brand new iPad 7th generation with all its updates and I brand new flexbook touch pad let me know if you know any tricks
Mine will not stay paired more than three seconds. I have to use the onscreen keyboard.
Gosh, that’s disappointing! You don’t have another Bluetooth device that’s trying to take over, do you? Have you tried removing it and re connecting? Hope you’re able to get it figured out!
Great review!
Thank you, Shirley!! Glad it was helpful!!
I got an older model and I love it! But now the keyboard just stopped working, not even the battery lights are on. I plug it in to charge it and nothing happens..! Is there a battery I need to change?
I’ve not had an experience like that. My original keyboard still holds a charge for weeks. These keyboards have internal batteries that are usually not replaceable. Your only option might be a replacement keyboard unfortunately. Thanks for the question.
Well done!
Thank you for commenting!! Hope it was helpful!
Can you please tell me if an Android tablet or Phone can be conected to this? (if you can test it for me I will really apreciate it!) THANKS.
Most likely you can connect to any Bluetooth device but it certainly won’t fit in the case. I don’t have any android devices so can’t test for you.
I love the RGB backlit and rotating screen, but instead looks like a laptop or a Mac, it’s more like too robotic for me.
hi thank you for replying to my question I appreciate that very much yes it's just one key the number to it will not do anyting so I have just decided to turn it back to Amazon the thank you so much for your video I am really enjoyed it it was very informative I actually love that keyboard how it lit up how it turned but this happens sometimes Amazon is so good they will return my money I may decide to get another one later on thank you so much for replying
I hope you can get one that works perfectly. So far, mine has worked flawlessly and the battery life is incredible. Yes, Amazon is great for returns. Thanks for your comment!!!
Hello Troy, thank you for this video. Very helpful. Also I love your workstation in the background. Do you mind sharing where you got it from or the brand?
Hi Michelle, and thank you for watching and your comment! Glad it was helpful. My workstation is from IKEA. The basic portion is a corner desk and then you can get extension tables/desks to make it bigger. I’m really enjoying it.
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 -- Thank you for the info. When COVID-19 is over, I will be heading to IKEA. Have a great weekend.
Thank you!! We love IKEA!
I’m watching this to figure out how to release my ipad from the case now that it’s in there! I can’t get it out!
So I’ve only taken my ipad out of the case once and it was A BEAR!! It’s extremely tight. All I can really say is be very careful and try to pry those plastic tabs at the top up enough to get the ipad out. Be careful NOT to bend your ipad. Hopefully you can get it out without a problem. Just keep working at it. That’s the only negative thing about this case. I mean, it keeps it in there very secure, but too secure in my opinion.
Sorry... SHOWS. And it's page 2!
Yeah it’s such a pain taking it off, Ima returning 😢
Love ur review - just wonder if it auto lock the keypad if it is closed?
Thanks for watching and your comment. Yes, it locks automatically when closed.
TY for this informative review. I recently purchased same product (rose gold), and am somewhat dubious re: the durability of the rotating hinge. Do U use this case regularly w/repeated re-configs (laptop to tablet)? If so, would very much appreciate an updated review (perhaps at 3 and/or 6 months). NB: the charging method is now via Type 2 cable (no longer Micro USB).
I use mine every day but wouldn’t say I rotate it often. But I find it very well made and doesn’t seem flimsy. I do twist it to show family members the screen sometimes. Thanks for the comment and the update on the charging method!!
Thanks for your reply. I’ve been using a Brydge solid aluminum K/B case. As a writer & prof. graphic artist I also regularly require use of my iPad as a tablet. With the Brydge, this meant frequent case changes or using my 2nd (less preferred) iPad. Hence, the need for a case such as this. I suppose after the heft & solidity of the Brydge, anything primarily polycarbonate will feel “iffy”. I do however enjoy the touchpad & overall performance of this Typecase/Yekbee. As for the hinge... I’m just gonna hope for the best! Thanks again! Looking forward to more of your reviews, your presentation is very impressive.
Thanks for the vid. How do you feel like taking the iPad out the case? Is it easy or much too tight, prone to break?
Thanks for watching and the question! I find I don’t take the iPad out of the case hardly ever as it is a snug fit. But I don’t think it would break if I did. The nice thing about this case is how it swivels and allows you to hold it like a tablet when closed while swiveled. So don’t need to really remove it. Thanks again!! Hope it helped!!
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 Thanks buddy! It really helped
Awesome to hear!!
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 I have same problem. I want to apply a screen protector and wanted to take it out before doing so. However I can’t seem to remove it! Otherwise I love the case
Yes, just be very careful when removing. I did the same thing with my screen protector and found out how hard it was. Once the protector was on, I’m not taking it off again. Lol. Good luck!
does anyone knows just get it and my kid press all the button,to write a letter i have to press and hold it for 1 second every letter.
why doesn't the tab key and arrow keys work in excel and numbers?
I have a 8th generation....Harriet
I find that same problem in some applications and not sure why. I have to believe certain applications don’t interact well with the keyboard.
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 thank you..for your input.... honestly for a while it was working in the body(columns and rows) of the document,,,,, then it quit .... tab only works the heading and editing ... go figure
how do i get the arrow that shows what function keys do off my screen. its a constant arrow. very distracting and i cant get it off the screen. please help I love this keyboard though.
I’m not sure what arrow that would be (wish you could share a screen shot). It might be a setting in the accessibilities settings that you have turned on. My keyboard didn’t do this so I’m not sure how to help without seeing your screen.
I just got mine today, but the only thing is I Don’t know how to move in a game, like in roblox,I cant move, like i cant use W,A,D does anyone know hw I can move
I’m not a gamer so I’m not sure on that one. Hopefully someone else has experience on that.
Thanks for the video, I love mine! Have you discovered a way to access the mic from the keyboard?
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video. No, I’m not aware of a keyboard shortcut to access the mic.
I mistakenly tried opening the back instead of the front. When opened correctly it will be stiff, but if you are trying to unlock a center clip then you are trying to open the back and it won’t open.
Thanks for the great tip!!
Is this keyboard case compatible with the iPad Air 4?
Boris, you have to carefully read the description of the item as it will say which iPads it is compatible with. The exact case I reviewed says it fits the iPad Air 3 (2019). Some folks are not looking at the same exact case that I reviewed when asking questions so I cannot answer your question. I will say that if you are looking at the exact same case I reviewed, it only said iPad Air3 and iPad Pro 10.5 (2017). Hope that helps!
Hi! Great review. Loved this keyboard for a while but it randomly stopped working and I can’t seem to figure out how to get it back to working. Can you help me?
I’ve not had any trouble with mine. All I can say would be delete from your Bluetooth list and re pair it. Also, make sure your language on your iPad is set to English. I had trouble when it was changed not working. Hope you can get it running again.
How to ypu change the keys to rainbow pls respond anybody😌
Depending on the exact model you ordered, the one I did the review on does not have that rainbow feature. However, some do. Just read the description carefully. My 2nd review of the keyboard for my new ipad PRO 12.9” has a key combination to scroll through various rainbow color options using the FN key. Each keyboard seems to be slightly different in how you activate the key colors.
Hello! Thank you for your video! Do you know which keyboard is for search? Because the space with the search sign does not search?
Sorry, I don’t know on that one.
Has anyone had a problem with the side volume buttons? I’m using it on an IPad Pro and the side volume keys get stuck when I press’ ‘em down.
I’ve not personally experienced that on mine.
Hi im trying to connect connect keyboard to IPAD GEN4
It should connect to any iPAD via Bluetooth. You just have to put it in pairing mode and then look for it to appear under your devices under Bluetooth. Hope that helps some!! Good luck!
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 thank you so much all working , have a great day x
I have been using this keyboard for my Ipad pro for about a month now, I have been loving it but I have noticed that my “home” button when being pressed down won’t pull up siri? It just exits out of the app I’m using, do you know a way this can be fixed from your experience?
I guess I wasn’t aware the home button on the keyboard initiates Siri. My experience only closes out your app and takes you back to the Home Screen.
Thanks for the info, I just bought it on amazon too and I was worrying I will regret it, but seeing that it works perfectly I regret nothing ❤️ i just have a question, how do you charge it ? Or you need to change batteries?
You use the included micro USB charger 🔌 to charge the keyboard. And the battery lasts a long time before it needs charging again. I think you’re really going to like it. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Excelente Video
Gracias!!!!
i just got one and i realize this is a kinda old video but how do you turn on the backlight- i’m hitting the button but maybe there is something else i could do? all the other things i’ve looked at haven't really helped. it is still a really cool keyboard and i’m happy i got it, just a little confused is all😅
There are key combinations you have to hit. And I’m not sure every model is exactly the same. Just look at the pics on the keys. Or hopefully the documentation that came with it.
question, is this compatible with the 8th generation?
Check the description good on Amazon as they specify exactly what models will fit.
i broke my magic keyboard 2020 a few days ago and i had to go with plan b and i really like my new one, i’d still rather have my old one
Oh my! Sorry to hear that as those are not cheap!! I’m sure the magic keyboard is better, but this one (and others) provide a cheaper alternative and still get the job done!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hi, nice to have a video about this case that I will probably buy. My questions are, how much doe's it weight and does it tend to fall back when you remove your hands from the keyboard?
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by to watch this video!! The keyboard weighs 2.14 lbs (according to Amazon). It does add a little heft to your iPad, but nothing that any other case wouldn’t add. As far as tipping goes, I’ve been shocked at how stable it is.I can even lean it back beyond 90 degrees and it doesn’t fall back. The keys are heavy enough to keep it from falling over. And the battery life is truly remarkable. I’ve been shocked at how I hardly have to charge it. I think you’ll really enjoy it!!
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 Thanks for your fast answer, I will order one this week.
is there any way to switch pages with the keyboard been trying to figure it out or is it that you have to switch it with your fingers?
I’m not aware of a way to switch between iPad apps from this keyboard unfortunately.
My is very hard to type
Thanks for watching and commenting!! So you don’t like the way it feels? Or is it not keeping up with how fast you type? Sometimes the way a keyboard feels is specific to a user’s like. I personally think this keyboard has a good snap to it and touch. Perhaps it will feel better over time. However, if you’re not getting some kind of results due to a faulty keyboard, you may have to get a replacement.
hiii I'm looking for a keyboard case for my iPad and i'm just wondering if all the shortcuts on the mouse pad work like scrolling and things. and great review btw.
Some things do, but not exactly how an Apple product would work. I actually prefer not to use the built in touch pad unless I don’t have my mouse with me. A Bluetooth mouse seems to work better. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
I love my keyboard x360 keyboard with my iPad 😍😍😍😍🔐🔐🔐🔐
They really go well together!!!
Has anyone dropped this case and did it cause any damage?
Thanks for the question. I know mine has fallen from a tray table before and survived without a problem. I suppose it would depend on how far off the ground and what kind of surface it falls on. Mine fell on a rug, whereas if it fell on concrete or hard floors, it may crack. It’s there to protect your ipad so cracking the case would be better than the ipad. Hope that helps.
reading due to 1 hinge in middle it will snap overtime...thoughts?
It doesn’t feel that way to me unless you’re really rough on it. I’ve thought it was pretty sturdy.
My case has stopped connecting to the internet. Is there any solution?
When you say “Internet” what do you mean? The case itself does not connect to the internet. Did you mean Bluetooth to your iPad? Turn off Bluetooth on your iPad, turn off the keyboard and then restart them both. I would even recommend removing the keyboard from the list of Bluetooth devices that was previously paired, and try repairing them together. Hopefully it should always rejoin automatically. If it does not, you may have a dud case. Hope that gives you a couple options to try.
I cannot get them to return my calls or questions to tech service. My punctuation doesn’t work and I have done the bit of troubleshooting that they recommend. Can you make suggestions as to how to repair this ?
I had this problem and it came down to not having the English version of the keyboard selected. Double check that first.
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 thank you. This indeed solved the issue. Grateful!
Awesome!! So glad to help!!
can i use a mouse with the keyboard? like can i somehow active it?
You use the mouse in conjunction with the keyboard. They both connect via Bluetooth to the iPad. Just find a Bluetooth mouse.
Battery backup of the keyboard?
No real backup but the charge lasts quite a while. Very impressive.
Great but there is no trackpad and therefore no cursor
My number two will not work is there any trick I can use to try to make it work I hate to send it back just because one key doesn't work
Is it only one key? Reason I ask is because I had a setting on to mimic a number keypad so it made a section appear to stop working. But if it’s only one key, you may have a defect.
The guy at verizon thought it might be because I had a update on my tablet I Apple iPad so I updated my tablet and rebooted and paired again but it still wouldn't work so I'm just going to send it back I tried tapping the option button five times I saw a video where someone said that might help it didn't good suggestions though must have a defect it happens sometimes
Tech Talk with Troy how do u turn off mimic?
Does anyone know if this works for the 8th generation iPad?
So it does say in the description of this item, "Compatibility: Compatible with iPad 8th Generation (2020 release; A2270, A2428, A2429, A2430), iPad 7th Generation (2019 release; A2197, A2200, A2198), iPad Air 3rd Generation (2019 release; A2152, A2153, A2123), iPad Pro 10.5 (2017 release; A1701, A1709)." I'd just double check those model numbers to make sure yours is there.
I bought it from Amazon but due to some reason few keys are not functional , any way to resolve it
Oh wow. That’s disappointing. At one time my keyboard was ignoring some keys and come to find out it was in some kind of number lock mode. But for the life of me I can’t find the directions I used to turn that mode off. Sorry. I’ll see if I can find that solution again. Someone else had that problem and I couldn’t find the solution.
it would be great if you could get me the solution for this issue.
Thanks a lot 👍
Anyone know anything about the type case keyboard with the trackpad is it any good does the trackpad work all right
I’ve not personally used a case that has the trackpad built in but they look really neat. One extra feature that makes it more like a laptop. I suggest always reading the reviews on Amazon (or wherever you purchase) to see what other users are saying!! Thanks for the question! Perhaps other viewers have some insight as well!!
I’ve seen other people with that version of Flexbook. It’s called the Flexbook Touch. Sadly I couldn’t find it on Amazon anymore. It could have been discontinued.
How is the hinge does it stay strong
The hinge is extremely sturdy. I’m actually quite surprised. Hasn’t loosened at all. Thanks for the question.
Is there a one for ipad 11 2020??
I’m afraid I don’t know the answer to that off the top of my head. Go onto Amazon and do a quick search for iPad 11 2020 and see what pops up. Hope there is one!!
I just bought it but why is it not pairing? I followed all the steps to pair and it isn’t working. Someone please answer me.
Make sure your Bluetooth is on, on your device. Also, there should be a pairing key that you have to hit to put the keyboard into pairing mode. My specific keyboard (shown in the video) has that key but some keyboards are slightly different and require you hold a key combination down. Does you keyboard have a “Pair” button?
Tech Talk with Troy I paired it now . The reason was because it didn’t have that much batteries. When I charged it started working just fine.
Ahhhhh yes! Glad you got it connected! Battery should last quite a while after you completely charge it.
Hi Troy and thanks. I'm pleased with mine as well. Until now, that is ... suddenly some of the letters are confused -- when I type a w, I get a z. The ipad keyboard itself has no confuciuon so it's in the Flexbook keyboard. Driving me crazy. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks for the comment/question and watching. I’ve run into this and discovered that my keyboard setting on the iPad (for instance mine was set on Spanish accidentally) caused my keys to be off like that as well. Once I changed the keyboard back to English, everything was back to normal. See if that helps! Very frustrating.
Thanks for this, Troy. I really appeciate your support. Your idea did not work, unfortunately, but I am in touch now with the Typecase peole and will see how they help resove the problem. I'll let you know, which will also give you a window on the kind of service they provide -- something that might be useful to your subscribers.
Well, bummer! Sorry that didn’t work for you. Hopefully, they can give you another solution OR offer you a different keyboard that works correctly. Any information you can provide us would be super valuable!! Thanks again!!
Follow-up. Typecase support was great. Back and forth on-line ocnversations. No solution. Glitch in the keyboard, I imagine. Replacement on the way to me. Good ending.
Sorry you seemed to have gotten a dud, but glad they were supportive and sent out a replacement! Thanks for letting us know!
how well did the trackpad work?
Mine did not have a trackpad. Must be a different model! Thanks for the question!!
When the keyboard glows, there many modes but on the box the case is contained in has it in a rainbow pattern. Is there a way. Can make my iPad keyboard cas elite that also?
Thank you for your question. This particular keyboard case has solid colors (I believe 7 if I remember correctly) that you can scroll through. It doesn’t have multiple colors on the keys like you may see on other keyboards. It does have a mode that will change through the colors automatically, but again, only 1 color at a time on the entire keyboard. Hope that helps!
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 Thanks for your honest reply!
How did you get an iPad for $100?
Hi there! It was a promotion going on at my cellular provider. Sign up for their plan and they threw in an ipad for $100. Thanks for the question.
How is it with finger prints?
This particular one wasn’t bad. I just got a new one (review coming) with more of a soft matte finish and I’m not too keen on the finger prints left behind. But this specific one wasn’t bad.
I wish it came with a mouse pad thing cause its nice but to use the touch screen with it in laptop mode is a bit of a pain
Some do. My new case does come with the touch pad. But I much prefer using a Bluetooth mouse as it’s more precise than most touchpads. But they are good in a pinch when you don’t want to carry a mouse around. Thanks for the comment!!
Tech Talk with Troy can I use more than one Bluetooth device on it at a time then cause yeah that would totally solve the issue for me I just thought it could only use one Bluetooth device at a time thanks for taking the time to reply back to my comment its greatly appreciated :)
What colors does the backlight have?
It has light blue, teal, dark blue, purple, magenta, pink, red, white, green, yellow - so 10 in all. (Those names might be called something different to different people, but that’s how I saw them). Hope that helps!!
That helped thanks!
does it still work well? is it worth it?
Yes, no trouble with it whatsoever! I still recommend it. Thanks for your question and watching.
i bought one of ebay, waiting for it to come in so i can test it. i’m really excited!
Thanks for the comment and for watching! These keyboards really transform your iPad into something almost like a laptop! I think you’re really going to enjoy it! Let us know how it works out for you when you’re all set up!
Anyone know if when you first open it it’s hard to open it up all the way?? I don’t wanna force it, is it just hard at first?
Yes, mine has always been a little stiff when opening up. That means the swivel joint in the back is doing what it is supposed to do by not being flimsy. I’ve had mine for a few months and the stiffness is still there which is a good sign!!
I hope it stays stiff. My last keyboard was the Zagg Slimbook and the hinge got flimsy and eventually the iPad kept falling out every time I’d open it up.
Chad I would think if you get this Yekbee case, it will do great. Mine is still as stiff as when I bought it.
kenia beas hi I just got mines, it’s not opening at all, I don’t want to force it, I’m afraid it breaks, is this normal?
It might be a little stiff which is normal when you open it. You need that back hinge to be very stiff to keep the iPad upright. It shouldn’t be a problem. Slowly open it.
Will a iPad 6th generation fit? TIA!
On Amazon you need to very carefully see if your iPad model fits. Usually they will specifically spell out which models fit by serial numbers. Or the description of the unit you buy. Just be very certain it does. They carry different sizes depending on the iPads.
Question, is there any way of having the key lights always on?
The keyboard ⌨️ shuts off the light within a minute in order to save battery life. But touching any key will turn them back on. The two cases I’ve used work that way.
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 I did some research today and found out if you hold the “light” button it flashes blue 3 times, which allows the lights to stay on as long as the keyboard is on.
Cool! I’m going to try that on mine! Thanks for sharing what you found!
so did this option keep the lights on ?
I cannot get that to work on my keyboard.
Does this case still work in 2021? With iOS 14?
Yes! No problems!
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 thanks!
How do I make it do like the box dose? Thanks!
I’m not sure what you’re asking. If it’s the same keyboard, there is a swivel hinge that you can rotate all the way around and fold down.
@@techtalkwithtroy7975 Thanks! Sorry for te confusion
My dad name is troy
Love it!! I’d say Troy is a good name!!!
