- I used 5 super fun Yoshi and Dry Bones combinations in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that were submitted by you. Now I'm using Shy Guy who has exceptional handling and acceleration - making him incredibly fun to use!

Fun fact: In Mario Kart DS, Shy Guy was playable. However, you could only play as him if you were using Download Play, making Shy Guy a sort of punishment for not owning Mario Kart DS.

Shy Guy is the fastest small-sized character (Toad also), making him a really good choice with any build. My favorite color choice is Orange Shy Guy!

Got to be honest here, Alex...that first baby park race was a masterclass from you, evasion, great item management, great item box collecting - sheesh
As someone who just recently started to main Shy Guy (Black/Executioner) (Previously Tanooki Mario) I realize Shy Guy feels like a glass canon. Track with many turns is perfect for him, but if its big wide tracks I always get beat out by bigger characters. Although ever since I switched to him, I haven't lost a game to my friends (we do random MK8 tournaments within the group.) Amazing video! really good info that I will try out!

I enjoy running Shy Guy on the Blue Falcon myself - though haven't run the White version yet. He looks pretty cool there, I might have to change! I typically use light blue.
If you like the pipe frame you can use any character (works best with medium weight for example yoshi or mario) roller wheels and super glider
Shy Guy Blue Falcon is my personal favorite! Handles good and is nice and fast when you chain boosts together. Been using it since I bought the game years and years ago.
I love that combo, but then I started looking into online stats and lots of people said it was a rubbish combo... I have no idea what is a good combo! Haha

I have a combo: Mario in the 300SL Roadster with the Retro Offroaders and the Plane Glider. When I first got mk8dx, this is what I would main. Sadly, I now conform to society and play with the meta.
pipe frame is the best kart just because it's the OG kart! shyguy is always amazing! please do 5 super fun combo with king boo :P

Hiya Alex! I have a suggestion for a 5 for 5 video! The kart combination is Isabelle as the character, the Pipe Frame as the kart, the wheels being the Azure Roller, and the Paper Glider. This kart combination has a lot of acceleration and handling!
Here's another combo I personally have success with for anyone interested: Comet Vehicle, Standard or GLA Wheels, Super Glider. I find this combo really enjoyable on 100cc and 150cc, struggles on 200cc though.
Not in the Meta either but i love using Bowser Jr with the koopa Clown and the leaf tires. It looks amazing!

Ohh, really good suggestion! Bowser Jr is hardly used. Maybe I should give him a try sometime.

How do you submit combos? I use orange shy guy, Jet bike, sponge tires, flower glider. All orange’d out!

Ngl most of the combo’s are good. But they are way better combo then the most of them only like one of the combo’s actually viable and can be getting Top 6 all the time.
