GR86 hits NJMP Lightning (1st Track Day)

This is a great video to reference if you're planning on taking your GR86 or any car to the track for the first time! Finally got to take my GR86 on the Toyota GR Experience track day at one of my local tracks here in the North East. Track day started very rainy but cleared up as the day went on. Had a dope time at this and planning on taking the car back to the track in the near future. Can't wait for the next one!

hope you are having fun! also, i do urge you to keep an eye on the oil temp and overfill it at least a bit. cheers

The instructor told us not to put the car in track mode so I wasn’t able to check my temps. I now put the car in track mode and have an oil pressure gauge and oil accumulator setup so definitely keeping an eye 🙌🏼

A pit out should stay inside the blend line (on the right) all the way up to entry of T2.

Appreciate the insight! This was during the GR Experience so rules may have been a bit different due to experience levels but good info for others going to NJMP
