Hey everyone! Just a quick note that Wax+Wraps is no longer in business. However, you can still follow Jacqueline and her amazing work in African fashion on Instagram: @africafashionguide. Thanks for watching! 🎉
I’m definitely interested in seeing what you make. My vote is for a dress. I say this because the pattern print is so large. I think it might get chopped up a bit on a smaller garment. Just my opinion. I’m sure that whatever you make will be beautiful.
Thanks for voting! I am going back and forth still if I shall make a dress or top+skirt. I think you are right that the bigger pattern would work better on a dress, but then I am loving the versatility of the top & skirt.. 🤔
I love African print materials 💛 it's a shame they only ship to the Uk although after Brexit it's been complicated getting parcels from the Uk (extra customs...) I would love to see you make the top and skirt, they are probably more wearable than the dress as you can wear as separates.
I am thinking also that the top & skirt is more versatile than the dress, but I am STILL debating back and forth which style to go for 😅 I really also hope Wax & Wraps will ship to more countries soon! 🤞🏻

these types of fabrics are sold widely in my area of Israel due to high concentration of Ethiopian immigrants. I've been curious to explore but was kind of intimidated as to what to make with them. this was a great intro. thank you!
I promise that I will make it into a video then! 😁 There should be enough fabric for both I think it was hard to showcase all of it in the video. But you might be thinking of the fact that it is a print fabric?

Love this!! I’d love to see you make the top and skirt! I imagine they’ll be beautiful statement pieces to style in an existing wardrobe
Yes, I think you're right, and as a two piece set I can mix and match it with pieces I already own.
Yes, please, make a video with this project
Will do sometime this autumn I think! 😊
Love this! And the fabric matches your hair and nails!!!
Hahaha.. yes it does! 💖💙
I would love to see another video with you doing this project! The dress sounds amazing.
Yay! I am hopefully gonna have more time to make this project this autumn 🤞🏻

I love the concept, and look forward to seeing what you'll make with that lovely fabric. When they are able to ship to the US, I will subscribe. ❤
I hope they will be able to ship to the US soon! 🤞🏻
Definitely a wrap shirt and skirt 💙💜
I think it's the most versatile option - but then I love the look of the dress too... 🙈
This was such fun to watch! I think the fabric would look great as a wrap-around pool side robe!
edited: I suppose I mean kimono style 💖
Great idea! 🤩

I hope to make myself three new blouses to work in and two T-shirt dresses. I also want to make some shopping bags for gifts. Thank you.
Wonderful! 💖 They sound like perfect makes for summer.
Make it in a video. There doesn't look like there is a lot of fabric. You might be able to make the top. Thank you.
