It turned out looking amazing. My grandmothers name was Mathilde but would never allow anyone to use a nickname. Maybe because in her day the nickname was Tilly. She HATED that!
That’s so funny! 😅 one of my friends calls me Tilly and I think it’s pretty cute, but names and nick names are so personal.

I had a similar experience with movers recently. I packed myself so I knew how sturdy the bins I purchased were, and yet many arrived cracked or crushed. I also labeled the boxes fragile with arrows pointing what was Up.
😱 I am so sorry to hear! Your experience sounds very similar to mine. It is so infuriating especially when it's not cheap to hire movers!

This video was full of useful tips! I never heard of such a mop, but I am ordering one tonight! I hate any mops I have tried, but I love this! The move was awful, but it is so nice that you have your own sewing space!
I have also hated all other mops I have tried, and so far the Cuban mop is the best. I hope you will like it as much as I do! 🤞🏻😊
The movers stuffed other peoples belongings (whole baggage) in and on yours. Everything was taken to a warehouse (where it was moved into a non-environmentally controlled warehouse until they had other items (whole baggage) that will be delivered to the same area of the country (they want enough to fill a moving trailer.) You were lucky not to pick up bed bugs, roaches, and other things. If you got everything back you were lucky. Military personnel are often robbed by movers of many items during Government paid for moves.
I hope you are not speaking from experience with bed bugs and roaches! 😬😳 I am definitely lucky in that regard.
Moving cross-country is a whole operation indeed! I have done other long distance moves in the past and the experience was so different. They properly wrapped our items as requested and had a way better system for labeling. Some items maybe got slightly scratched or not packed to my liking but overall not much damage at all. I have heard the standards of moving companies varies a lot depending on where you live.
We need a dislike button just for your movers. You trust people with your belongings, they should care for them as if they are theirs.
I'm not a quilter, but I love Just Get It Done Quilts for all Karen's great ideas that can be used in many different situations.
