Pro tip. Fill your inventory with berries and mushrooms then go back to sell them to Nancy, wash rinse, repeat. I've made 6 grand in the past couple hours. Also, fires have a meter to let you know how long before it goes out. Ooh you can sell from the RV as well so fill the fridge with berries meats and mush, then do the same with your inventory THEN sell everything to Nancy.

I found buying the tent to be a good investment. You can have a save point with you wherever you go, rest and then pack it back up. I haven't noticed a percentage attached to it and have only used it maybe 3 or 4 times so I don't know if it will degrade or break, but it saves me from having to hunt for branches and logs except for when I need a fire.

Update, they do seem to have a set, limited number of uses. So upgrading your call to it's fullest level might just be the best solution if you have the resources.
Buy a sleeping bag instead its cheaper, lighter and dose the same thing as the tent

have you gotten the Calls to work? while hunting in the lodge their is an achievement that you have take down all the big animals..
This game is awesome but definitely needs some patches and updates, way too many crashes and you lose your progress which demotivates you to replay all up until you are back to the point of the initial crash, and theres always that looming feeling it will crash after, so it really drives home the survival feeling, but not in the way the game expected.
Can you or anyone tell me where the crashed plane is? Or the lost mail? I'm seriously at the point of deleting and uninstalling this game because of this stupid mission.
Thanks for this. I'm probably being an idiot but although I use Hunter Sense (L1 on PS4), I haven't yet been able to see any animal tracks. Currently trying to hunt Ol' Chip the diseased elk, and can't see tracks. Is it the same L1 on PS4 for this? Thanks in advance if anybody can help.
Hi Kimberley, you really need to find the pond/lake first....you will hear them before seeing tracks.

Please PLEASE PLEASE is there a map for all the cargo post? I don’t want to find the plane i have done that all i need to do now is find all mail. There has to be a plan to this not just guess and wonder around. I keep getting gray screen return to blah blah. Im not exploring every square inch thats impossible with how glitchy this game is. Surely theres a guide. All guides ive found only finish at where the dam plane is, like seriously is that as far as people get in this game? I want to find all bags so i can get next mission. Im stuck maybe someone can help me?? I just got the dog and need to whistle to bring him back but it doesnt tell you how to use it, is anybody able to help me out thanks in advanced
You need to attach the whistle to your utility belt first, then select it like water.
I'm stuck can someone please tell me how to switch to my rifle?
Help! I ran out of ammo for my rifle and shotgun and when I go to buy it it only shows handgun ammo!
you can always use the bow its a backup cartable item from the start you have to account for more bullet drop.. but perk of the Bow less weight because because all your arrow you can pick them up, basic arrows are cartable threw branches. Upgraded Broad Heads require more resources but do more damage... Prefer these to take down Enemies. If you do go this route Grab 6 archer skills and Sneak. your range is kind of potato until you get the upgrades so you need to sacrifice the early essentials or play close range sneaky type.
Hey man, Ive been stuck on the mission where you have to find the Indian plant for the naturalist. I've started a new game 3 times now and the plant still won't show up at the Burton water tower shack, or the Burton cave. Any advice?
should be there? Try certain times of day maybe?

Can anyone tell me where the 3rd construction supply at Northridge mine is I have found the one at the entrance and the one in the bear cave where is the 3rd one
One at the bottom of the cliff (be careful) one hanging off of the edge and one in the cave

@@SimUKReviews what about the plain I have walked all around ceder pond up on cliffs and all when he says I thought I saw something about still have yet to find this plain not asking for an exact location but a general direction from the south side of the pond thanks again
My game save got deleted with an update just as I went looking for it, I replayed up to about that point again and the game crashed lol so I don't know for sure, BUT on the second map I did see a plane crash (might not be the correct one) look half way up the side of the mountain there...sort of central but near main parking location (you can't see it from above, so get down to the ground level)

@@SimUKReviews way south of ceder pond you can actually see it on your map just south of the long cliff line that runs horizontal and just slightly southwest of the pond way south
just got the game but saved it for the first time and the save was corrupt so having to rely on autosave
Yeah it has a few issues still.
If you hit the trees with the knife or the hatchet give you staches

So find a nice spot with deer in view and use the whistle. They will come to you instead of you moving towards them.

@@SimUKReviews I bought a tent and I try to sleep in it but it just kicks me out and I just keep dieing from no sleep
any bleeding or diseases? If your injured in any way you can't sleep. Right next to the 1st camp there echinnea bushes need a pot at the Campfire you can make tea to get rid of most early game diseases. If you come across these plants in the future making a Fully developed campsite for Medical waystations in the future. If you out and bout and can't travel back to nancy these will be a good reference point to get you to feeling better.

also they made it possible for use to make rope :D just need to be mindful u need a couple of those heavy pelts w/ you but its a micromanagement thing. As you gather items in the game more cartable will open up as you find new Resources.... for instance a cooking pot upgrade won't show mushroom Soup as a recipe until you have gather any mushrooms on the map same for rabbit exc..

Only crashed plane I found so far is on map two, but you can only see it from low down. So find main car park area and climb low, look up into the mid section of the mountains

@@nicholehart4848 you don't its a on-going mission that will take you to endgame. Collectable system. You just looking for Fed-Ex boxes around the world.

Many things aren’t good in this game, I bought it and I almost regret it. When you are starving or thirsty, you go blind and it’s annoying to shot or see where you going or animals, when you are injured the character start do some annoying sound repeatedly, come on, I can’t deal with these things 😕 or can’t have nothing in inventory that it’s already full n can’t run and just walk slowly. I don’t know, have potential but need improvement
Make sure you upgrade your carrying weight ASAP!
That sounds like some great reality specs and it's kinda awesome to me. What happens when you dont eat or drink in real life and then try to be a marksman. When your hurt and running around the woods I'd expect you to make some weird moans and groans as well. Those things dont need improvement, you just havent caught on to the game yet.
