- Today I decided to waste money on 5 games that all have 0 players playing them most of the time! The one (semi) popular game featured today was Below! But the rest are down in the dumps for sure, some have terrible reviews and some are just straight up not finished. Which one was your favourite?

Rising World or Subsistence. Two very fun and underrated survival games. And there is another game called VEIN. well not fully a game yet but being made. There is a playtest for it . I have seen some play it on youtube . its being made by Ex Dead Matter devs. and it looks good so far

I stopped watching when the screen get blurry.
Not able to chop trees in a survival game is dumb, but getting black out from hunger kill the game.
I got motion induced sickness from the blurry screen. It's so unnatural.
Please let the game stay dead or better cremated it.

I've played it before and it's a really bad hunting/survival game, they haven't updated the game in over a year
It was just completely abandoned and boring
I've owned Journey of Life for a while now. It has gone through several updates. I'm not a fan of where it now. Used to be populated by many animals and the survival aspect was tough but rewarding.
It looks really good. Will do a playthrough of this. Is there an end or is it open-ended?
@@Cymos1989 It is open ended, The story if I remember from early development is that the character wants to live off the land. What I really enjoyed was finding clay and making molds for the different tools. It really is or was when I played it in the past was a bare bones crafting system. I made some videos in 2019 which show how it was back then. I'll leave that to your discretion if you want to see them. I don't like linking in other peoples channels.

dont make shitty copy paste unreal engine 4/5 asset flips then, every single game trhis dude plays can be described that way. im SURE theyre paying him for these "reviews" that consist of -play shitty game for 10 min, not even getting into the game AT ALL- "oh this game isnt as bad as the reviews say" "this game is so beautfiul" when its again, just a n unreal engine 4/5 asset flip. no shit its gunna look good because thats the base engine that they built the "game" on

I actually preferred journey of life older version because it focused much more on realistic mechanisms. Like I actually had to build my stone furnace one stone at a time and stuff like that.

open country was actually a hyped game, but it didn’t meet expectations sadly. I played it for like 4 hours, died, and stopped

This video sort of randomly showed up in YT that I wasnt signed into and its very good and exactly the type of games I play. I am shocked you only have 20k subs, shocked. One critique, the zoom/ in and out as an effect, try something else. Also, if you havent played Fountain of youth or As I call it Animals gone insane, its lit.

I got open country so cheap on PSN, spent at least 20 hours on it, was ok. Hunting is so damn hard, shooting rabbits was crazy.
Remember, if someone is trying to shoot you with a bow, hide behind some carrots. Impenetrable.

Unknown Planet makes me think a game made entirely of 3D scans of clay models made to look like a child's claymation project would be hilariously cool.
Goes in water and walks over dark circle that begins to darken more and more then grows teeth and looks like it about to….then cuts away to something else as if nothing of interest happened.
Love it's a video about survival games, then proceeds to include an action-adventure game that's more akin to a rougelike then a survival game
I mean yes there is a survival aspect in the fact you can make healing items but its not pure survival as it lacks certain mechanics

Alot of walkie talkies in media aren't actually walkie talkies but rather UHF scanners, anyone who has used or heard much UHF chatter knows the npc mic near the start is super high quality lol

I actually love this game its the perfect mix... game relates to me bc i too work as a stock broker in real life but work for myself. Anyhue about this its a odd gem... but there no microsoft fillers in the map... you discover everything yourself... want to big game hunt, you learn the trails and have to track them and perform the calls in the game. Bushcraft is simple as long you have enough for your vision.. but getting a maxed out camp is the only way to make it for up to a week of in game time.
The last one (Unknown Planet) looks like a "cheap cheap cheap" Above Snakes copy.

See I don’t always go off the reviews what someone may expect from a game another may find amazing. Some people look at gameplay others are hardcore in depth with what they see and find. I have played games that had some of the worst reviews but enjoyed playing and played games that everyone and their mothers play and I not a big fan of them
I never go by user reviews, everyone hates everything these days. It's like they go into everything WANTING to hate it.

That banana tree he punched down was a palm tree... Bananas do not grow on palm trees... a banana tree is something you can one kick in half because it basically a giant blade of grass...
I put about 5 hours into open country and really enjoyed it. Until my game save corrupted and deleted everything.

Huh..I genuinely always thought Open Country was just a hunting game like Hunting Simulator or theHunter..didn't know it was a survival game

I actually own and regularly play Open Country on PS4 but never played it on PC. I actually like it.
All we need is PROPER remake of Gothic2 +Add on :D . im sure it would be fantastic Survival game if implemented right....
If you liked Gothic then there are a few similar games like the Risen series and a couple others.
Surely you've heard of it already but Gothic 1 Remake is set to release relatively soon. Also check out The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos, if you haven't.

seeing Journey of Life makes me so sad, used to be such an amazing game, i loved the in depth survival aspects (akin to green hell with how detailed building things would be) and they just scrapped all of it for this garbage that it is now :(
the developers of journey of life stop working on the game i do have that game in my library hoping another developer might pick it up and start working on it again

Since rest is only a half finish game that they haven’t really updated much in the last 15 years since I first played I really don’t mind if other people copy it and use their ideas because they’re barely using their own ideas anyway

Me and my friend got this on ps4 a couple of months ago, looks like the servers are closed for it, we can’t even join each others session. Shame, looked chill but we wanted to play together, the game is useless for us.
