Excellent explanation as usual. Thanks for the advice and demonstration.👍
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching
I had a deep scratch and gouge on one of my wheels. I lightly sanded with 100 grit, filled the deep gouge and scratches with JB Weld MarineWeld two-part epoxy. Waited an hour, sanded with 220 grit, cleaned and sprayed with RustOleum paint that matches perfectly. I did repairs on two wheels in 2hrs total. They look perfect. Total cost: $16.
A large black permanent magic marker from Amazon will help in a lot of situations.
Not a bad idea
I used a sharpie on my rental Tesla I've had a Tesla about 5 times now hit a curb yesterday and a bit of rim scraped off used a sharpie on passenger side don't think they looked at it when I returned it
@@michaelsuzio4268 smart!
Hey man I was wondering if you still had any leftover pats from the m3 lol
Maybe! Front lip and roof rack.
Would like to use an airbrush instead. Is the paint you use an enamel or acrylic paint?
It’s oil based paint.
Have you seen the mag bak rim case? Seems interesting.
I wasn’t crazy about it. Lots of plastic
So helpful !!!!
Glad you think so! :)
I’ll get wife to fix mine as I don’t know how to use nail polish😅
Haha that’s a good plan
what size tires did go with to get rid of that crazy stretch?
295 rear and 275 front
For model 3, I went 275/30r20 squared. Unfortunately I still managed to curb them
Hurt my soul to watch the curb hits at the end...
I threw the wheel out
@@TommyLGarage oh I know… it’s that one you replaced in the video. But it just reminds me of the sound when I hit the curb and my stomach drops, haha.
"Good from far but far from good"
Yes!!!
$350 is crazy. I called mobile wheels guy, came straight to my house did it for $100. Looks indistinguishable. SoFL.
Did it require refinishing the whole wheel?
can you send me their contact? what state do they operate in?
