I think it's because those other groups depend on one another, we want to be independent and forge our own way because of trust issues
Yes itâs important to have that dependent and cohesive spirit with one another and to hold each other accountable.
@@travelingsista but also to move as a group to get things done
On point. Other groups do it via fund raising but we don't want to support.
@@reviewsite6292 very good point. Blaxit in the Gambia is a great example. The top UTubers there in Tanzania and I'm not naming as you know who you are and how you have influenced our people. GET TOGETHER GET TOGETHER GET TOGETHER.....DO YOU SPEAK TO EACH OTHER DO YOU GET TOGETHER.......and bring our case where it needs to be heard and changes made. There have been Utube videos of community events in countries like Gambia and Rwanda......there are many Utube videos of beautiful people in Tanzania doing well but I've never seen you all come together (I'm happy to be corrected if I have missed)
Other nationalities are thriving in our Africa because they have a whole community entrepreneurial attitude and will put their voices and resources to get what they need wherever they go.
@@travelingsista maturity or wisdom arises when you learn and accept "interdependence!" You cannot protect yourself alone sister.
Plain and simple we all need to understand divided we won't progress.. Unity

@@travelingsista yes yes.. Blessings to You and family đ đđč
Thank you fam. Likewise.
We used to be united but that has changed over the last couple of decades. Many of us has adopted the " western privilage" mindset and started distancing ourselves from others....just like them.
Most of us are used to being spoonfed dependacy
We have to sacrifice and have the patience and have shart term plan medium term plan and long-term plan
Vision long term and sacrifice
Long term gratification
Sooooo true.
Thanks for the heads up on this very important topic. There are many, many stories of people going BACK to the western countries where they have lived and worked because they could NOT handle the situation back in their OWN countries where they were born and raised. Yes, even citizens of many African countries get burnt (emotionally, socially, financially, professionally otherwise) when they FAIL TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK AND to ADJUST their attitudes and expectations upon returning to their OWN countries where they were Born, Bred, and 'Buttered.' Too often, many people just take too many things for granted.
If you couldn't make it work back home, changing up the location isn't going to change anything. This is speaking from experience. Get your _mind_ right and understand what you are coming here for. Too many of the people I've seen come here expecting to live like gods over the native people. When I walk past an Indian or Chinese speaking fluent Swahili but see a Black American who's been here longer not know 'Habari za asubuhi', that's a problem.
Its an awful lot of judgment being passed on Black Americans. Maybe we better off to stay where we at. It pains me to say that because I cant stand the US, but its seems we damned if we do and damned if we don't no matter where we go. Maybe we need to start looking into other places to migrate.
@@LoVely-fo2nb - There's no need , anywhere u go ur character will always be with u . However , if u take drastic measures to change and adopt positively , u will surely Succeed anywhere on this EARTH .
AMEN! There are waaaaayyyyy too many people living an insular lifestyle in Bongo, resistant to learning the language. Language provides tremendous insight to the culture.....which smooths the transition for newcomers. LEARN KiSwahili!!
@@LoVely-fo2nb No need to be a victim. Tanzanians are warm people. Learn Kiswahili, from tenses to ngeli and you will fit in easy, also immerse in the culture, and you will enjoy.
So the first wave needs to be successful people where they are coming from. You know, people like GoBlack. Who where already entrepreneurs and also already have income coming in. Others need to just go visit for now look around and learn a few things for only a few weeks. No need to take safaris during these visits just go and see what life is like in the cities or villages.
Some from the Diaspora are running FROM a problem .... not running TO an opportunity.
TRUTH!!!
It isn't just African Americans who are having this issue (as you know.) There are Africans who live in places like Sweden and Norway who have tried to move back and haven't been able to re-acclimate. The same goes for countries like Jamaica, Nigeria, and other countries with large numbers of ex-pats that are challenging to live in after living abroad.
Thank you for pointing that out. The spotlight always gets shined on us & very seldom is it positive.
That is absolutely true . I am a Tanzanian, who resides in Denmark at the moment. I went back home 10 years ago as a single parent with my two small children. I was extremely tired of the stress out here in Europe and was missing the laissez faire African lifestyle. When I arrived there, I tried to keep the same standard of living like I used to have in Denmark and things were tough. The other thing that I did not budget for is the bribe you have to give out every time you want something done in a government offices. Nothing can be done without giving out a bribe and this on its own makes things very expensive! So, when you calculate your budget, please, please, please, you have to include this as well! Otherwise, your budget will not sustain you for the period you have in mind. Fast forward my story, I ended up returning to Denmark because things became too tough in my own country, but I am now reorganising to go back in the near future for good. Now, I know exactly, what is waiting for me when I land in Tanzania. And I am a Tanzanian, so don,t be hard on yourselves, like the sister put it, it,s not only you, there are many of us who have tried and failed and we are going to try again.
Thank you for sharing. It puts things in perspective.
@Reggae Flavaz I am so happy for you guys...I can,t wait to come back home. And hope to see you guys some day!
@Reggae Flavaz They say Tanzanians have more in common with Jamaicans than most of the other Caribbean Islands. And it was thanks to Jamaicans that other Caribbean's enjoy visa free travel in TZ.
Black people coming here become too overwhelmed too quickly and decide to leave. Then they are the first ones to complain that there are many Indians & Arabs here, because they never left when it got tough. THEY DIDNâT LEAVE!
They also unite. Many get discouraged when they struggle...alone.

@@ignitespark9293 they lend money to each other avoiding local banks that charge insane interest loans, some foreigners also owns their own banks in african countries. and africans scratch their heads wondering how the others do it.
@@briopalumpus8676 indeed. Itâs almost like we become mentally paralyzed when unity is of the utmost importance. Iâve walked in 42 countries on 4 continents and I am embarrassed to say that even as a minority in ultra racist China, black folks avoid each other. We really need to heal our minds in terms of how we see each other.
Together We Stand, Divided We Fall.
Damn you're radiant!
As for the topic at hand; I think many go there with the wrong mentality to begin & aren't prepared/willing for the fight. Arriving in Africa isn't the end of all your troubles but the beginning of a new world but in a new world, you have to put in the work from the bottom up.
Thanks! And yeah Africa doesnât fix anyoneâs anything. Itâs all about the self work. But we have to learn....
Many of them are looking for the US in Africa and you have to see Africa from a different prospective. When I went to Tanzania for the first, I went with no expectations so I wasn't disappointed. However, the prices for products are inflated because I'm a foreigner which is quite prevalent, but I learned to haggle a little or I got someone else to do it. That doesn't deter me from going back to Africa in the next couple of months. I loved it in all its ruggedness and some modern ways. It was so refreshing not to have any arguements with someone unlike in the US.
@@terregriffin7816 Once you get to know the locals and their nuances you end drawing incredible intel' on how to manoeuvre locally. But if you stay in your own enclaves, then it becomes tricky. The Hebrew Israelites have an incredible advantage in that they had a ready made community before they arrived in Africa. And if I'm honest, they seem to be the only real African American community you see in most African nations in terms of networking.
We must be prepared like it's our first day on a new job when relocating to Africa or any foreign place. My hubby&I visited South Africa& learned about their system& culture before planning to relocate permanently. It's more easy to transition to another place when you're familiar with people& things on a daily basis.People will only give up when they're frustrated and overwhelmed by things that conquer them and without support. We must learn how to receive support& give it in return to be successful in this game called life. Thanks for sharing valuable information my sister.Keep up the great works.B1â

Fear is a horrible decease in our community đșđžđ« your videos are very inspirational!
Everything comes from the mind. Overcoming ones ego is essential to any success in life. As soon as we put aside 'my way' and just follow the way things are, adapting to the situation, then we unlock our power.
The disconnect is plain laziness, they want to be baby sitted ,lady Kishimbo.!!! There is no free lunch in Africa.
I agree that there are no free lunches in Afrika, but I believe our problem as a people is much deeper than that. Maybe parts of it stem from laziness on a topical level, but weâve been taught that we canât trust one another and that evolved into hyper- independence. So instead of us trusting each other, weâre like âF- it, I donât need anyone. I got ME.â Itâs all a part of the big plot.
You bring the HEAT sista. Love the channel
Yes my dear sister I support what you are doing.
I'm a Nigerian residing in Sydney Australia.
You are so correct about we Black people.
First of all, we black people we are not United among ourselves.
How could we United when we don't trust one another.
The problem that I noticed about we Black people is that we don't get along with each other.
Why? Because we don't trust one another whenever money matter are arise.
There's mistrust among of we Black people.
Black people cannot team together to do something tangible.
And that's why we're the least among the all the races that God created on this planet.
Here in Australia you'll see Chinese team up together buying housesđ , founding a company, doing business together.
But we Black people can't do that because we don't trust each other.
Dishonesty, mistrust is letting the Black people race down.
You are gorgeous!!! Happy to see you over there prospering, sharing, and helping others. Why canât we? Yes we can really excel together better than separately. Great content.

We need to heal, before we could embarked into building a strong community.
Exactly, because without healing there is no solid foundation to stand on and thatâs why most things we do crumbles. Heal individually and then come together to build after one has worked through their own ish. I see soooo many in our community âbuildingâ and dealing with Narcissistic leaders and ppl who wonât heal. Thatâs why schools havenât been built you have ppl running off with donations, etc why because we fail to heal. We must Heal that lack mindset, jealously, envy, low self worth etc are not foundation that will last
Interesting observation, Marie-Paule. HOW would you suggest that Blaxiters approach their healing?

Well said, and in many ways, Africa will call your bluff. It will provide you with everything you complained about your whole life: No police drama, no racist office politics, arable land, a majority population of your own kind, an abundance of culture and politeness, a chance to start your own business and house help for those with children of a particular age. @Laverne Mayberry California was no Utopia during the gold rush. Matter of fact it was a death trap for those trying to get there, but the opportunities outweighed the risks. Same thing with Africa. The world operates under a dollar standard, therefore a poor African has to do everything humanly possible to acquire a certain amount of dollars to uplift their family from the poverty trap they are in. Bearing in mind that there are no welfare cheques nor foot stamps or any such government funded safety nets in place most African countries. But an African American with sufficient dollar saving would in most cases find it much easier building an empire in Africa than America, Fact. But then again there is always that option of remaining where you are if you don't think highly of Africa. That's perfectly fine too.
Greetings Traveling Sista, most Africans living in America primary issue is trust and ignorance as well as many other psychological concerns. Magufuli death was a game changer as well. Thanks for sharing queen and congrats on five years there.

Understand the MENTAL issue first. From a conquered people the first step must be to learn how to see opportunity (working for a goal DESPITE personal feelings and trust issues.) Then learn how to FORGE....to create...the art of melding things together...Sometimes pressure, heat, sweetness, sometimes a melding agent (go between)...practice this at the smallest level. Do you know how to make fire, can you catch water? A certain set of people in America love to hunt, scout, forage mushrooms.....they are practicing the art of finding, melding, creating. This applies to everything from natural resources to people. It's a mindset. Obstacles actually SHOW you the way!! Like a video game, when you solve them you level up.

Congrats on reaching a milestone. As you mentioned, economics does play a major role. Other ethnic groups are often financially backed by their government, this is especially true for the Chinese. I will say this time and time again: Africa is Not For Everyone Regardless of "Race" and she has her own way of slowly weeding people out. Once the weeds have been removed, the real growth can begin. I moved to Rwanda in November 2020. Our people need to move to Africa with a builders mindset. We need imagination. We need creativity. Excellent topic my Sista! Great points on other groups who come out, power through and make it work. My question is this⊠Does any of us have a strategic plan as to how we come together and invest? Everyone always talking about we need to invest but in reality we donât know how. What are the steps? What capital is needed? What is each personâs return on investing? Frankly, most of us donât know the process. We need to be educated on how and what is needed to invest. I am happy that your video has reached a lot of people, it is a very important subject for those who want to settle in Tanzania and thank you for making another video to provide answers, well done.
We can go so far if we choose to go together. But weâve been bred to go alone and fast. We can rise together if we choose to but most of us simply do not know how. Instead we run back to captivity with our tail between our legs. Simply because it is familiar. Familiarity soothes fear. Perseverance is what will allow to rise through challenges. Many of us do not have the will to preserver or the will to unite. In addition to the trauma, we come from too many social systems. Institutions are outside, too.

We are still suffering from the Willie Lynch Syndrome. It is still prevalent. You have to look at this from a historical perspective. "It is time we emancipate ourselves from mental slavery, non but ourselves can free our minds." Bob Marley
Yes yes yes.
That is so true and that's what we've been suffering from...love from Jamaica...and ur quote is actually from The great Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Jamaica's first national hero not Bob Marley. Bob only sung it in one of his songs
I dont know if people realize that the majority of the work of emancipatong oneself from mental slavery is not just about knowing Black/African history and facts nor is it about wearing the clothes. Much like with Stockholm, we have identified with our oppressor and his things. We want to maintain access to Whiteness and White things and ideologies. Whether it's something that is conceptually large like money and services of the west or as small as manicured sidewalks, "better" TV shows, or ease of access, we cannot come of the Whyte teet. As I'm visiting TZ now, I can see that people are snow flaking at any sign of trouble due to our being able to access whatever whenever before. Not a shot, just a truth; even for me.I had to realize myself that there are no welcome home ceremonies. We all need to recover from the madness of systemic racism and so called supremacy. Do the work at home and set it up or or do in whichever country on the ground but know, there will be challenges. Thank you for this reminder.
Knowing about our past history is just the start. Then, of course, we need to work on ourselves. There is a reason that we are like we are. It was ingrained in us for hundreds of years. It is still practiced even to this day! Knowledge is power. I totally agree with you that we ourselves must do the work to free our minds and change ourselves.
