Thanks for sharing, always wanted to know about your 🏍️ motorcycle
Shumi just put his heart out in this video. Could feel how happy his soul is and content of having a conversation about his 390 Duke and it is priceless. Cheers Shumi.
Thanks Jerry! You should see his face when he gets to the office on the KTM 😂
@@motorincnow that's you've said it, need a video/story about it 😊
Haha! Let's see how we can cook this up
@@motorinc Arrey. Y'all want to film everything or what?
Probably would end up ! Sure all your content is done with a soul in it which i dont know if you guys have realised! Its one of a kind!
To the people who know nothing about motorcycles but like to brand KTM as chapri bikes rather than calling the rider a chapri need to listen to this. BTW I ignore the noise. I do not own a KTM and will not own one ahead but I know that KTM is the reason we fell got into performance bikes. They kept on giving us the taste of high revving machines. They have won literally almost all of the Dakar(19) races. Neither the africa twin, nor tenere have achieved this feat. Coming from relatively unknown country of Austria and not been well funded like BMW nor having racing DNA they introduced the RC8 and are now going mainstream into MotoGP as well. What other credentials are needed.
♥️
pedro acosta will bring the first championship for them
Honestly, every time any old Duke used to pass I always checked wheather it is 390.
That's how much I feel excited for this machine.
So I just bought 2016 model couple of months back.❤
Oh yeah! Congratulations!
Hey! Would you recommend buying an used Duke 390 from 2015-2020? How expensive would it be to bring it back to good condition?
I've never learnt how to ride a motorbike in my life. Always thought a car was enough. Started watching shumi 's content after a friend recommended.. his passion for bikes is unmatched and contagious. It has turned me into a biker head and I've signed up to a riding school. Thanks man. 😊
Yay! We're so excited for you Pavan! Best of luck!
The MY2014 to MY2016 Duke 390s isn't just another motorcycle, they are assets! This model 390 is one of the best neck-breaker ever to have adorned the Indian motorcycling fraternity. Such a fun, scary and kick-ass motorcycle...Excellent video Shumi.
Spot on Vijay! Well said!
It feels like the universe just answered my prayers and you guys dropped this video. Heard so much about Shumi's 390 on ThisConnect. Also, I love the fact how sweetly Shumi talks about his 390 with all the love in the world and would surely love to see more of his garage. Looking forward to Singhee getting to ride his Figo soon.
Thanks Nitesh! More Garage stories soon!
The level of emotions that went into making this video 🙌 shumi and his eternal love for his 390. Divine.

My thinking was the same when i bought my KTM Rc 200 (it was unobtainium for me) back when it launched but convinced my family to pitch in some cash, my bike was 6th in my city at that time of launch, but as covid hit and after that i lost my job, with a heavy heart and a sad face i had to let go of my ktm, after getting financially stable again and feeling dull in life, after seeing this video all the feelings came back, how fun was riding were and definitely will get another one someday.
Tears filled my eyes. This video is by far one of the finest POEM I have ever came across, I remember feeling the same when I read "If by Rudyard Kipling" few years ago. I resonated so much with your love story because even I'm in a beautiful relationship with my "Rekke" (A Kannada word) which I hope would turn out to be a long lasting and fruitful one. Rekke is my 2022 Hero Xpulse 200 4V. I'm extremely grateful to this era which allows us to cross paths with many intense individuals just like you are from whom we can learn a lot about not just what they speak about but how and why too. More than everything I'm eternally thankful to my parents for comprehending the way I am with motorcycles and for buying me an awesome machine that I am enjoying completely at while I am still 22. The main reason for my love towards you Shumi sir is not just because of the way you speak about motorcycles, it is because of the person you are. I am doing what I love and I'll continue to do so, Be whatever it is that I do I'll do my best, that's what I have reaped from your work, You are the man who does whatever it is you are doing by giving out 100 percent. To me you more of a message than a man.
I'm sorry for my intense, not well timed love letter but sometimes a poet can't stop words drooling out his pen.
Thank you for everything, see you track side. Keep Evolving...
-Aranga.
Thank you very much for that Aranga! We see your comments and we know you're part of our extended family
Man! This is one of the best video I've ever seen for a motorcycle! I can feel every bit of what you are explaining on my bike, which i ride for 9 years! Kudos to the channel for providing such an amazing content.
Wow! Thank you so very much Aravind!
This video just touched my heart❤❤❤ when the video was about to end, I was like why is it so short, wanted to hear you go on & on
The fact that all those emotions got transmitted through the video 🙌🏼
Priceless!!
Thank you Abhijeet! If it's powerful enough... it'll come through 💗
That's just beautifully put together by Shumi. Loved every second of the video!
Thanks SwaG! ❤️
Fantastic video! The passion really comes out in this video. Well shot and edited. Would love to see more of MotorInc garage!
Can do for sure! Thank you!
This video was just beautiful…been reading about ferocitas back from overdrive days..and this is just nostalgia..really loving the content here!
Thank you so much! Glad you’re enjoying the MotorInc experience!
Have been hearing about this legend from many years and finally here it is...what a spectacular journey so far ❤
♥️
Shumi and his 390 are a match made in heaven. I feel exactly the same about my TVS Star City +, of course, it's a commuter motorcycle but I know every bit of it, the best the worst and I enjoy it every single time I ride it.
@MotorInc pls don't stop making such amazing videos. Cheers👏
Thanks Vivek! The size of the bike has nothing to do with the feelings it generates
My first video of Friday morning and it made my weekend even better....am smiling coz I share this feeling of *being able to connect with your bike*...now am gonna go office on my suzuki gixxer sf enjoying like I always do. Thanks shumi...you always say things which our hearts can't express ❤️
People who say they're looking forward to riding because of something they saw on MotorInc? Made. Our. Day!
Hey Shumi, being an ardent follower of you. You have mentioned about your 390 many a times. And finally got to see it and hear more about it. Love it
We're so happy Ajmal! We're glad you were looking for it and we're happy you have answers
Shumi's taste in modifcation is tremendous people usually prefer the aesthetic side of the bike in terms of modifying it rather than the actual mods which can completely change the character of motorcycle and completely how it behaves, great work👍
Glad you liked the thinking Ayushman!
Thanks for publishing this video, Shumi and team MotorInc! It adds a lovely perspective to your ownership of the bike, and why you feel whatever you feel about it. Would love to see similar stories about other bikes…maybe a story about Kartikeya’s Hayabusa, ‘Ra’ (or others on your team too)! Cheers!
Can do Vikram! Glad you enjoyed that!
This is such a soul touching video it struck a chord in me where i drifted to thinking about my bike and the adventures that i had with it . Thanks for this
So welcome!
I was waiting for this video for a long time and it was worth it. Such a lovely video. This is what we should feel about our bikes.
Thanks Pritom!
This video alone convinced my dad to get me one and it's been 2 weeks into the ownership and I'm simply loving it. Thanks to motorinc and shumi
Wow! Congratulations Shirish! That’s awesome! Glad we’ve helped!
OMG.... I have never seen Shumi sir so calm and composed. Having a bike for 9 years itself tells about how much you love it. the video showed a different side of you that I am not sure we have ever seen in the past. Its a very beautiful relationship between Man & Machine. CHeers to many KM on it.
Thank you Aniruddha! They're very good together for sure... him arriving on his KTM means lots of chatter!
Favourite motor inc video so far. I love how shumi sir talks about his motorcycle and how much it means to him.
Thanks Daksh! 🤜🏽🤛🏽
A video which i gave my whole attention, Shumi talked from his heart about his ferocita.
I love how can have a deep connection with a motorcycle that you treat like like a family member, like a child.
Thank you for this video. This video just resonates with me in every way possible ❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it Amit! ❤️
As they say, when you really love your bike it becomes a part of you and it becomes like a family. You'll always find ways to make it better but you'll never gonna sell it. That's the beauty.❤
That's it! I keep walking into my garage and wanting to ride the KTM... that's a priceless feeling! - Shumi
Nothing less than perfection 🌸
This is one of the motorcycles the D390, I wish to own in future, am waiting to own and will be a fun to own. It can keep pace with super-bikes and at first test ride I got connected to D390 rather than A390.
Thanks Motorinc to bring this pure and exalting video 💐❤
Thank you AT! We wish you the very best of luck! Hope it happens soon!
I absolutely love motorinc because of videos like these - which talk about motorcycles & cars as being more than just machines... As partners & as emotions - which just keep growing dearer with time.
I seriously admire this as a concept - this video & the one from Karthikeya about his dreams. These are absolute fine art.
Thanks a ton for the story Shumi.
I am just planning for my first ever KTM - and the feelings your story resonated with me like no other video.
Cheers :)
Thanks Aman! Glad MotorInc makes you feel! And best of luck!
I feel you man. Love you and you made me fall in love with ktm just now 😊
Thank you for the video Shumi & team. I have been hearing about Shumi's 390 for the longest time and frankly I could listen to more. As a Duke 390 owner myself, I could connect very well with the insight shared by Shumi, especially the keeper part. I still love it and will be keeping it for rest of my life too. I have clocked more than 3x times what Shumi has done but this bike still feels like new. Fuel it, shut it & ride it has been the mantra for its long life span I suppose. Hope to see Feorcitaas in person some day on the road.
Have you had to rebuild the engine with more than 90k on the odo. Im planning to get one but im wondering how well it will hold up in the hands of someone who won't abuse it.
@@avib3799 yes I had to get the rebuild done at 70k kms...The bike has been working flawlessly so far.
@@bonvoyageVinay thanks for replying, if you dont mind could i ask how much did the rebuild cost?
Around 18-20k. But this was done 2 years back, so now the prices might have increased
We meet for sure! It's just a matter of time Vinay!
We all have that one bike that is the apple of our eye. Ferocitas is that for Shumi, may be more than that! 😊
Such a wholesome video! 😊😊
Go Team MotorInc! Go Shumi! ☺️☺️☺️
He says its "the heart of his garage"
Thanks Royden!
Man I loved this video! Riding my 390 for almost a decade and it still makes me smile every time I crank the motorcycle.
♥️🤜🏽🤛🏽
This is such a fun video. Thanks for sharing this Shumi
Cheers Karan!
I remember your first review about 390 Shumi. You sat near it's front wheel and kept praising it. Rare thing from you. Every sentence said back then still holds true. What a machine.
Yes, I still do watch it now.
You remember! That's insane!
That was a good riding day says Shumi 😊
This man has a much bigger influence on me, and changed my perspective about how I see things, wanted to meet you someday 😀
We shall meet! We are working out how to do this correctly... but this will happen
Can't wait to meet!
listening to this man, him talking about his bikes is what calms me! thankssss a lottt!🤗🛐

I own a 2014 duke 390. Its always nice to hear stories from people who consider their motorcycles as companions. Emotional and knowledgeable vlog. Thanks.
I wish all the best to your channel. You people are going to be the best in country soon!
Thank you so much! These words encouragement mean a lot to us.
Wow Shumi, the sheer love and passion you have oozing out for your KTM- remarkable!
It is definitely a great bike to own & ride, I have had one since 2014 too but never been so much in love, heck I think I like yours better now! 😅
Just one question though-
What’d you do to your KTM’s seat to ride it for such long distances? 🙈
I just gave it time. The first 3,000km ride was a pain in the butt. It's been nothing but perfect ever since... no changes. I did wear the seat material out (started sliding around on it) so I told the seat guy to get the same material... and _to not touch the foam_ *at all*!
This is why he keeps saying give hard seats time... they work out better than softer ones
A proud fellow owner of the 390 gen 1 duke dear Sir! Have followed your journey as well, owning this beauty have been a phenomenal experience. 2 years of ownership and I already know, she is never going away from my garage. My duke is gonna be a lifelong partner. I may and will get other motorcycles, but she stays. A legend in its own right. Lovely video Sir
♥️🤜🏽🤛🏽
Glad you loved the film!
Do you have any plan to sale your bs3 390?
The way you have explaines the journey with your KTM 390 makes it so satisfying. Some stories do have a happy ending. Hope it lives happily every after in your room!
♥️
I've followed this 390 from Shumi's overdrive days when I used to read about it in a magazine. It's been a long time and it's good to see a dedicated video on the same machine ❤
🤜🏽🤛🏽
Thanks for the staying glued to our work Nisarg!
I have been trying to get the RC 390 from 2015 hope eveything works out and i can take care of that just like shumi took care of ferocitas.
All the very best!
❤Shumi san... I know we've spoken about this multiple times in person, but I have the exact same feelings for Shukuji. She incidentally came home just a couple of weeks before Ferocitas. I simply can't get enough of that motorcycle. You said it so rightly... "She's a keeper"
KTM-KTM
🤜🏽🤛🏽
I remember that you and Singhee both got your KTMs just days before mine! For Rs 5,000 less... I know I know... 🤣
It's a great experience itself watching Shumi's love for his motercycle n
It would be even greater to see a playlist of MotorInc Garang videos..
We're working on it DD!
Shumi really appreciate your love for motorcycles. The naration is great and every word shows the love towards motorcycling.
Thank you for passing it back!
Shumi Sir deserves a lot of respect since he speaks on behalf of his motorcycle and it is clear how much he loves his vehicle. I have never seen even superbike owners this passionate and respectful about the machines they own. It serves as motivation for someone like me who has yet to get his first motorbike.
#motorincfam ❤️
Best of luck SaberT! We hope you get your bike as soon as possible! ❤️
Cheers to a beautiful story!! Just wanted to ask how's heat management done on your bike!! My Duke does struggle with that bit quite often!!😅
The bike doesn't have heat issues... it's never shut off. It probably does run hot. But Shumi says since he _never_ rides without being in full gear, he hardly ever feels it
Just pure love for you and your bike Shumi
Just ❤
Amazing video like always
Godspeed!
PS: Ferocitas means - Wild, Fierce
Thanks RK! That's exactly right. Ferocitas (in fact all of Shumi's bike names) circle the wide, fierce and savage in meaning. Except Frór, which means thunder in Norse... Tuono in thunder in Italian
Brilliant one schumi! 👏...
Very touching, emotional and inspirational :)
Thanks Peter!
I see how the video gets 8 likes within 1 minute of uploading but the video itself is of 11 minutes 😂
The trust is real! We believe in you guys!
We see it too! We're floored, excited, honoured and feel the responsibility!
Its amazing how shumi describes not just the bike but the feelings towards it. Its almost like a love letter to his bike.
Indeed! ♥️
Finally the Duke 390 detailed video by shumi sir is here I have previously searched several times even at overdrive that is there any proper video of Duke's available but couldn't find one now the wait is over, after writing this comment I'll start watching the video...
Commenting before watching! Shivam, you're crazy! ♥️
That glints of genuine passion seen when you described ferocitas is so joyous. Hoping to start on a similar journey sometime soon 😇
And we wish you the very best of luck! Hope it happens soon for you!

Ah the KTM 390. My journey with Rastaman started in 2015 and ended in 2021.
I was looking to upgrade from my Pulsar 220F (Turbokat) after having spent close to 7 years and over 80K Kms. My first preference was the Ninja 300. At the time, it was coming up to around 4.2 lakh on road in Pune and was way out of my reach considering my salary at that time.
Then, PowerDrift came up with the review on KTM RC 390 and I was just hooked to it. Watched it countless number of times and finally just went ahead and booked one and it was at almost half the price of the Ninja 300 with better safety kit (ABS). Once I took the delivery and rode it for the 1st time, I was totally surprised and amazed. The first 1000 to 2000 kms were absolutely amazing. I was discovering Rastaman, understanding it, unlearning and learning to ride. Over the next 30,000 KMs, every moment was absolutely amazing. We travelled from Bangalore to Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai. I even rode it for almost 20 hours when I decided on one of the weekends to do a joyride from Bangalore to Pune and back. Everything was just beautiful and brilliant.
Then came the 1st trouble. In 2017, at around 32K KMs on the odo, right after a scheduled service, I headed from Bangalore to Hyderabad and at around 12:30 in the night and about 70KMs away from Hyderabad, the bike just stopped and just didn't turn on. Took it to the service centre, spent quite a bit and got things fixed.
About a year later, in 2018, yet again we hit the highway and were headed to Pune. About 200KMs into the journey, somewhere near Chitradurga, it stopped again. Got it back to Bangalore and fixed it.
These two breakdowns didn't bother me so much but when it happened for the 3rd time around August of 2019 when I was returning from Hyderabad to Bangalore, I decided that it was time for me to move on to something more reliable for highway trips and ended up buying a Ninja 650 (Razor).
Though I had Razor in the garage, since I didn't want to let Rastaman go, I had him around till 2021 for intracity trips. The relationship came to an end when I wanted to buy my first car.
Do I have anything against Rastaman? Absolutely no. Simply cause it was the KTM RC 390 that helped me discover my capabilities, helped me in the process of improving my riding and more importantly, it made me enjoy biking - short and long distances. Every time I traveled to office on it, my energy levels would be high and it would be so for the entire day as I used to look forward to riding it back home and take the longer route ofcourse. My Rastaman - absolutely amazing.
He taught me a lot, helped me discover my riding capabilities, helped me enjoy long distance touring, helped me enjoy the force of wind at high speeds, helped me fall in love with biking.
Fortunately he is with a friend of mine and I am glad I get to see him once in a while and take him out for a spin, relive those moments and just feel good and happy. That's my story with Rastaman.
Coming up - My story with Razor when the next one MotorInc orginal comes out.
Oooh! What a fantastic way to convince us to create more videos so we can hear Razor's story! You're a devil! ♥️
Bro how it's like to maintain a KTM on a long term? I mean how's the after sales experience, maintenance cost, etc??
KTM parts are sometimes laughably cheap. So overall, I think it's a pleasant experience.
Easier than it's made out to be on every front.
@@shu_mar Good to know that 👍

Hey! It's not just him! It's us! Us = Team MotorInc + All of you!
Suspension upgrade is one of the most underrated modifications ever.
60,000%
My list of modifications:
Weight loss -
1. Lightweight 428 chain from DID
2. Lightweight 428 sprockets from Jomthai (total chain kit weighs 1.3kgs lesser stan stock)
3. Lightweight new gen Duke alloys (didn't want to fit the new gen suspension so got custom made front axle adapter for a direct fit also have sent link to you shumi sir in insta if you're reading this) this mod saved 3.5 kgs and made it more flickable.
4. Lightweight front and rear wave rotor by motomaster (lighter than stock new gen discs by 500gms)
5. Shido lithium battery weighing only 600gms
6. Tail tidy and mudguard/sareeguard removal reduced another 4kgs
Performance-
1. Nmw racing ignition coil
2. Ngk laser iridium spark plug
3. Nmw racing valve springs (to tolerate the extended 500rpm after ecu remap)
4. Barnett racing clutch kit
5. Velocity stack and sprint air filter from brentuning argentina.
6. Custom ecu remap by brentuning argentina. (Stock fuelling is crap and choppy. Super lean in low rpms below 4000)
7. Ceramic engine bearing by WWB.
8. Ceramic wheel and sprocket bearing by WWB.
9. SAMCO radiator hose.
10. Engine Ice/Evans Coolant.
12. Adv 390 dual radiator fan.
13. Heat taped fuel tank and airbox. (Cold air+ cold fuel= more hp)
Braking mods:
1. Already mentioned about rotors up top.
2. OEM KTM brembo sintered front pad and rear brembo sintered pad from RE interceptor.
3. Master cylinder with adjustable brake lever and adjustable clutch lever from new gen duke.
3. Frentubo carbon brake line kit.
4. Liqui moly dot5.1 brake fluid.
5. Pirelli Rosso 3 tyres.
Functional/aesthetic mods.
1. Apache mirror in stock ktm stem for a larger viewing area. Bolt on mod just remove screws behind the base and fit them.
2. One finger clutch kit from eBay.(just a stretched clutch holder clamp which decreases the clutch wire distance towards the clutch lever)
3. Andreani front fork cartridge kit (preload adjustable and weighs almost 500gms lesser than stock setup)
4. Bitubo rear suspension. Fully adjustable and weighs almost a kg lesser than stock.
3. White and orange painted areas re-painted with radium/glow in the dark paint for becoming more visible to others at night)
4. FeRetrofit 70w laser projector kit (Had to upgrade to rc390 stator coil and rr unit to comply with this mod. Now lighting at night is terrific)
5. Stock replacement Denso relays and fuses to take care of the electrical load.
6. Side stand sensor bypass.
7. R15 dual horn.
Bike weighs 136kg which is same as the stock duke 200 bs3. So you can imagine the power to weight ratio and acceleration after all the mods.
Holy mother of god! That's a crazy KTM if there ever was one! NUTS!
@@shu_mar Glad you like the mods sir. It's just a habit of mine to install the best possible premium parts to all my vehicles which will not only serve the purpose but also add my own signature to it.
That's a very serious KTM Shaswat!
Where can I see any pic/ video of your bike? I would absolutely love to see.
It simply SURREAL to listen to someone speaking so passionately about the machine that is so close to one's heart..
Hats off Shumi!!!
Thank you Yatik! ♥️
Thank you for restoring KTM's beauty back to it. It's a beautiful machine but sadly due to some people has been maligned but now thanks to this lovely video of yours, it's beauty, efficiency and all good things about this Austrian beauty has been restored back to it. This is probably the most beautiful mod on it.
♥️
Your passion and love for 390 is amazing. ❤
Thank you so much!
The love is in the details ❤ Shumi please do this about all your bikes !
Thanks Andy! Can do!
I was raving about my 2014 Stock to the Bone Duke 390 and it’s sheer performance and reliability and landed up watching this video. Made me emotional for sure as I just love my bike to bits and mostly can’t stop talking about it. Anyone riding the bike wants to buy the bike. Puts a smile on your face all the time. Fun to ride all the time in most of the formats. Easy to maintain. Also the prices now are going up as people are realising that the top end is better than the new ones out there. The only mod I might think of after watching this video is the rear suspension and maybe a Ecu
So well put, I was watching this while deciding to buy a bs3, definitely getting it nowwww
Best of luck RecceBarretto! Do let us know how it goes!
It's Love❤😊
Thank you so much for putting it up❤
You're so welcome! ♥️
Wow, salute to you sir, you made me emotional about my bike. In this video, ur narration, it just hits the right spots in my heart. Thank you for this.❤
Cheers! ♥️
Shumi...We can feel the love you have for ferocita. It feels so good to hear you speak so passionately about your ride and how you take care of it all these years. It lit up the face of every motor enthusiast. Keep going don't stop riding! Lots of love from abhi & thakku(my ride)
No plan to, Abhi and Thakku! We remember who Thakku is too... so the (brackets) aren't needed!
I was so expecting this video on MotorInc. Shumi and his Duke390. A love story far better than many of the bollywood films. Kudos man. And thanks for inspiring many of us to keep loving our decade old machines.
♥️
The video we were waiting for!!!!!!
I have been watching you talk about it for years now, it has always been exciting and touching at the same time.
I would wait for your Instagram posts to see what all you have changed and what you didn't.
I had my duke 200 for 8 years (2014) which was also my first motorcycle, very similar feelings (except a few minor hiccups but so much fun). the exhaust note 😍😍😍
Changed the seats on my 200 and got to your video a lot later (Regretted it).
I have now moved on to a 390 adventure which is an absolute blast in every possible way, i did however give it a lot of thought based on your PD review and opinion of just getting the duke instead.
Facing a slight low end torque issue and video on that would be superb.
Hey! Just change the rear sprocket. We can't remember right now, but one of the KTMs has a +2 or a +3T rear sprocket that's a direct fit... might have to change the chain in the process. It'll make the 390 more lively and you'll lost just a bit of the top speed... it'll probably be a good tradeoff
@motorinc thanks a lot, I'll get right on it!!!
Love the channel
Shumi sir awesome work loved every sec of this vid
Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🖖🏽
Loved it Shumi and can relate to each n every word u said....! ! !
Glad you enjoyed that Prasanna!
I can hear shumi for years!! And when he talks about 390s. My God !!! We'll cherish our 390s for the future generations to come.
Thanks Vineet! ❤️
For the record. I didn't want this video to end this quickly hence played it again and again to my heart's content. I'm not crying. You are........
Thanks HV! Glad you enjoyed that!
Fun fact: I know more about Shumi's 390 than my own bike, over the years reading and listening about it feels like some connection.
Thanks for the video.
Haha! Well you have yours to work on!
Shumi man ur conversation just touch my heart ur words can only be felt by a true biker and the way u expressed man o man goose bumps brother 🤯
🤜🏽🤛🏽
Glad you enjoyed that Soul Explorer!
@@motorinc yeah really it was good
"Thank you so much for making videos! I just don't watch you for your videos or content, but I do for the emotions and joys you bring on the table. Your philosophy of life is really practical, and when you decided, or anyone decides, to have something for our lifetime, we have all the time to give and develop, move, and evolve. The value is not money; then the value is your efforts and the joy you get from it. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do!"
I've added an even stronger expression of gratitude and thanks at the beginning of the text to convey a deep appreciation for the person's videos and content.
Sir sir sir! You keep coming back with ever larger compliments! Thank you so so much!
Modifying bikes throughout the ownership keeps the bike new and gives the similiar feeling of riding it for the first time. Loved this video 🧡
Thanks Karan!
Best part of motorcycle is you can keep it taken care by yourself which cannot happen with cars and SUVs ,like wise scooters . That makes bikes feel always new . Even adjusting clutch cable yourselves makes bikes feel different from past.
The way you can articulate your feelings👌🏻👌🏻. Love to listen to you Sir.
Thank you so much!
First things first , Ferocitas' is an awesome name and secondly your journey of 9 years made me teary eyed as I love my 16 years old Apache RTR 160 2V the same can't think of parting with that bike ever.😢❤👍🏻🙌🏻💯
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video! Thrilled you have a bike that’s a keeper!
Best channel i've ever come across ❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🖖🏽
This one had me smiling so wide. A man and his machine. A never ending love story.
I don't think i am in a postion to tell if this is just shumi narrating a story or if its a piece of journalism that should go down in history....all i know is that this is an awesome piece of content🔥
An absolute masterpiece from team MOTORINC.
This reminds me of my first car, the Chevrolet Spark. No matter how hard I try to keep it out of a conversation involving my life, I simply can't. It's the car with which, I spent my entire childhood with, and to a great extent, made me who I am today.
Thanks for sharing Varun! Glad you enjoyed the watch!
such an eye opening beautiful scenery you've presented before all of us through this video and i think my CT-100 B 2015 model still makes sense because it enabled me to earn money in hard times and pay my Education Dues and some short trips with friends, i really like the Moral values part where through material or emotion we can increase the value of our Motorbike not by owing that bike because of higher specs.
Glad that film hit the spot Yash!
I can listen to shumi while day.. What an orator.. ❤
❤️
You know the motorcycle is legendary when any bike you compare with, the Duke 390 comes immediately in the mind as a benchmark to match!
It's true! There was a time when it felt like no one could buy a fast bike in India without considering how it compared to the nearest KTM model first!
I could relate so much here, riding the BS3 rc390, these BS3 machines are a blast of fun and epitome of happiness 😊 🙂
They are!
It's a much awaited video.❤
Glad you waited!
I owned a 2019 one and absolutely loved it, got a 390 adventure and never really loved it the same way.
❤️
Shumiii! You spoke my heart out, this is what I keep saying about my Ninja 300 which is just like yours 9 years old this year, and I am somewhere inspired by you as well over these course of years. My modifications are somewhere different but I do like (mentioned in the last)
Kawasaki, although not as good as KTMs in terms of service, it gave me the opportunity actually work on my bike by my own self and to understand what it needs although it was a frustrating experience at some times, the appreciation and the love for my motorcycle has only increased because I'm a forever student of hers as I am learning to the point that people say that the bike is a reflection of my nature, and did quite a lot of modifications because it is mine. People questioned me why I'm spending so much money on a smaller displacement motorcycle but really it was a no-brainer for me because it has only made even more special than it did the first time I rode her, it just feels so natural - and just like you said yes, once the time comes to retire my motorcycle it will be in my room as a memory of whom I used to be and how I got moulded in this personality.
Here are the modifications below
2014 Ninja 300 (35,000 km)
Go mods:
R6 Throttle tube for a quicker action
Dynojet PC5 remap
Leo Vince LV 2 full system exhaust with baffle
43 teeth Renthal sprocket and the back and stock 14 at the front
DID chain
Pipercross air filter
Snorkel delete for more airflow
Stop mods:
4-piston brembo calipers
HEL Steel braided lines
Suspension mods:
WP Apex Pro 6515 adjustable front and rear (set to my weight)
Tyres (stock sizes)
Michelin Pilot Street Radials
Metzeler M5 W rated
Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2
Apollo Alpha H1 (current)
Cosmetic mods:
Double bubble windscreen
Tank pads
Rear seat cowl
Tail Tidy kit
Adventure 390 front fender (stock one broke)
Wow! That is a _serious_ Ninja 300 indeed! Must be insane to ride it! The rear sprocket is a +2T?
@@motorinc thank you so much for the response! just trying to give her maximum love! The stock is a 42, this is 43 so +1T
U can see the connection shumi has with this bike. Thank you for sharing.
KTM has had some 'image' problems asking with the 'chapri' branding along with it. But ur love and care for the bike shatters that image in my mind. Thank you for reminding me what KTM did for a lot of bikers/riders for us..kinda reminds me of my classic 350 which i gave up on after it needing a lot of help to stay in shape.
Keep going you guys. Love and respect to you and the team.😊
Thanks Jubin! We believe that "image" in this context is exactly what it means... a facade... which isn't real.
Shumi sir❤.
The emotional + expressive connect that you have with The ktm (yours) and others in general is what I can relate with so much. Manifesting a day I shall have the honor of meeting you in person and letting you know that you're not alone in that sensation you have for vehicle(s). I knoe there are enthusiasts and way bigger maniacs, but you know.
We're working on how to meet with you (and the MotorInc family)... soon!
@@motorinc this means a lot. Thank you for the reply🙏😇
I picked up a 2017 2nd gen Duke 390, this video hastening my thoughts after 15 months and 15000 km with my erstwhile 2022 Himalayan at the time of this video in May 2023. Sold it 2 weeks ago at nearly 22000 km on the odo. I still go down to my home parking and ride it atleast once a day for a kilometer though its been 2 weeks since I picked her up. What a motorcycle! The poise with which it balances performance, braking and handling even in the city (it DOES NOT heat, the fan takes care of it) has me thrilled, every ride feels special. The 2 nm of torque that the BS4s got is a welcome bonus as I found the 1st gens in my city worked upon with piggyback ECUs and left in even worse shape due to the extremely temperamental low end, with sketchy service records.
Love this video and share your feeling about the Duke. My 2014 Duke 200 has done about 1,20,000 on the Odo and I still can't get enough of it. My only regret is that it's not a 390.
The 200s are crazy good too! 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Every word you spoke in 'The Happily Ever After' reflected me and my Yamaha FZ16 2008, Diana. still a keeper and kept stock!
Awesome! 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Bought a duke 390 Last month.. ODO 2500 KM +.. This bike becomes a part of my body.. Riding through the hills, taking sharp turns without any hesitations.. It is indeed a corner rocket..smooth and moment maker..
Very very well said!
