Maury is one of the guilty pleasures i partake in from time to time. I always feel better about my life choices afterwards.
Watching these kinds of shows makes me feel like I got my shit in order. I’d rather have a boring life than one filled with drama. Smdh😂

The second guy was so upset when he learned that the baby was not his, but I think before long he will be glad because if the baby were truly his, he would have had a tie with this hateful woman for at least 18 years and possibly much longer. I am sadistic enough that I love it when a woman comes out and says, "I know this baby is his because I haven't been with anyone else" and then Maury says, "You are NOT the father". Oops. Someone is a liar!
The strangest case I saw on Maury was the young woman who came dragging 13 (THIRTEEN) men in two or three at a time and NONE of them was the child's father. That was about 20 years ago and legend has it she's still looking.
But she right there and said the real father already knew he was the father!!! WTF!?
That second one was was so heartbreaking but I was going to comment the same. Thankfully he got away from her free and clear, she was so hateful and just monstrous.
I can't speak for Maury's show, but my cousin was an intern for Jerry Springer, and he says that they ply the guests with liquor in the green room to fuel the rage. Wouldn't surprise me if it's the same here.
That second woman is just nasty. That poor man just wants to be a father and she is so fraggin' mean. I'm sorry he doesn't get to be a daddy to that baby, but I'm relieved he doesn't have to deal with that B**ch. That poor baby gets my tears, though, because she has a hateful, awful mama who shouldn't be raising a child.

The Jerry Springer show followed the same model as Maury and it was filmed in NBC Towers in Chicago part of the time. The creative community in Chicago is tight, so everyone who knows production folks knew that the production crew got the show's participants wound up so when they took the stage they'd be quite amped up. And of course, the audience was carefully selected for their boisterousness and responsiveness. I've heard plenty of stories from local production crews that a good chunk of the people who applied to be participants on the show just wanted a free trip to Chicago and/or their 15 minutes of "fame." Apparently, some weren't even in real conflict with each other.
Another Fun Fact: All participants were sent to a local salon for clean-up, hair, wardrobe, and image improvement, so what you saw on the show, even with final makeup, was still a vast improvement. At dinner one night, a friend in production said, "Oh, you would not want to see what they start with!" I said I thought it would align more with the show's premise, but she said it would be too over the top. Wow.
My twin brother went on there for a paternity test. The baby was my his. My oldest niece. She 16 now

She sure didn't mind when he stood beside her and named baby Miracle, and helped during her cesarean.... That woman is evil.
Yeah, she certainly didn't mind pretending the baby was his when it suited her. Also since she conceived at a time when it was possible for him to be the father, it means she was sleeping around and cheating on him. And she's STILL playing the victim. What a piece of scum.

One woman had over 40 Maury appearances to find out who the daddy was and I don't think it was ever found out her break downs became stuff of legends

The Maury Povich show was a *guilty guilty* pleasure because I feel bad for the little ones yet I laughed a few times.

Wow, some of the women actually apologised to the guys! I dont think I've ever seen that before in one of these compilations.
These compilations are a guilty pleasure but the one thing I always hated was that the woman would have done all this lying and tricking and mud slinging then when she was proven wrong, Maury would comfort her, offer her further help and tell the wronged guy not to be too hard on her. WTF?!!! No Maury, you're sympathising with the wrong person.
Maury has retired and I always considered the Maury show the pg version of the Jerry Springer show Maury also did out of control teens for a while mixed with the who's the daddy episodes

A baby is a mix of both parents how are you going to judge by appearance. The only way to know is a DNA test.
It's mind blowing how many of our shows that ya'll also watched.. movies, of course but the daily shows.. most of us had no idea ya'll watched them over there as well

I work at a daycare. I actually works with babies for the most part. And 4 of the babies are named Andrew. Although most of them go by Andy.

I'd always watch this, and the Price is Right when I was home sick from school. I enjoyed seeing other people, (the people who lied, cheated, basically scum) miserable. I'm still kind of like that, but with Soap Operas now.
My grandsons name is Andrew. He's 10. We call him Andy.
My 19 year old nephew's name is Andrew.
However, if you're on any of these types of shows, you know you're doing something wrong. 🤣🤣

I was almost a Maury episode with my son's mom and 3 other kids, turns out I was the only baby daddy and I always knew that the other 3 kids very different 2 of them had the same father but not the guy tested his brother was the father the other had 4 people accused of being the father but non answered the court summons so it was ruled no father other party's refused to go on the show
Have you ever reacted to Cheaters?? OMG, you have to do Cheaters. Show was completely insane. The host got STABBED. They would catch cheaters then pop up on them with their significant other and a camera crew.
I sure wouldn't do this on tv.

I hate when the girl is all over the guy but when she finds out he’s not the father ohh don’t get all over her let’s baby her for her big girl decisions. This show infuriates me. I also don’t get why these girls embarrass themselves and sleep with so many dudes unprotected and need to figure out who the dad is that’s crazy.

My biological mother got pregnant with me 2 weeks after my maternal half sister was born. My biological mother slept with 10 men after she gave birth to my sister. She had no idea who my father was. Even though she had a boyfriend.

Its kind of bizarre how Maury Povich went from a somewhat respected even though sort of focused on mid level sleaze Hollywood news reporter to a mildly respected talk show that no one watched that became such such a gutter of trash television that's wildly popular all over the world.

This show I hate because the guy is usually booed and wrong whether he is or not the father is very predictable.
Difficult to understand why these young mothers are comfortable having their busy bed traffic broadcast worldwide. 'Sad and messed up', as Kabir said, considering those kids may learn something about 'mum' that is unpleasant and embarrassing for them when they are older.

Hi Kabir! You're Not the father! I'd like to know how you split open and remove someone's testicle with a brick. Not exactly a surgical instrument. Not nice to make those poor nurses faint either! Anyway, you've got 2 of them, and each one has millions of sperm, so the only problem would be whether you want a left or right handed kid.
And the brick was in a purse which took all the sharp or rough edges off the blow. Also, and I admit I have very little medical knowledge, but would a ripped open scrotum really gush so much blood it made the nurses faint? And if it was bleeding that heavily then wouldn't he have passed out from blood loss before he ever got to the hospital? I don't buy that story.

I always hated the Maury show, it was always just a lot of screaming and name calling. Also, I never understood why these people went on the show and insist that someone's the farther when there is a very good chance they don't even know who the father is to begin with. All that show did was make people look really, really ignorant. I'm also astounded at how little biology a lot of these people know, just basic stuff. I really hate the ones when the guys really want the child to be theirs and it isn't.
I love how it's always the trashiest people on these shows.

These are all fake. People who worked on the show have come out and said everyone was told the results beforehand, and some people were even just paid actors. If you look closely you can even see that some of the guys react even before Maury says "NOT" the father.

This was an every afternoon show that I planned my entire schedule around the time slot for Maury. 😁 I would have this playing in the kitchen while I was cooking dinner. It was a real secret indulgence back then. 😆 I’ve always wondered if the guests are told to act like total trash. If this is how these people really are there is no hope for the future at all.

I always hated how Maruy would try to gaslight the men when they not the father to still take care of the child.
