So impressed inside and out with the design. In person it is simply stunning. The interior color choices are so inviting and bespoke. Wish there weren't so many close minded commenters talking about something they never even saw or experienced personally. In person it has a huge wow factor video just can't do it justice. Definetly would take this over the competition

My issue is this, when you're paying almost 100k for a luxury family SUV, you're also paying for the brand prestige. As shallow as it may sounds, the looks and respect you get from driving a shiny new Benz is part of the perks of owning a luxury vehicle.
With Genesis, either people don't know about it or they think you cheaped out. Many people think of Genesis as the Great value knockoff version of a Benz. Why pay almost 100k for a Genesis and be considered that way? Might as well buy a Benz. Most Genesis are sold in Hyundai dealerships because there are few Genesis dealerships. That means your 100k Genesis SUV will be serviced next to a 15K Hyundai Accent, that's not a luxury bespoke experience.

And the trolls that make blanket statements about bad engines could we have the technical data to look at please? There have been some issues with direct injected engines having carbon deposits build up on the intake valves but now they have added an additional port injector to keep the intake valves from the deposits. There is a 100k 10 year warranty on the drive train. Also I believe it is better to use a quality pure synthetic motor oil as the mist and vapor from the crankcase and PVC system will help keep the intake valve deposits to a minimum.

Genesis also needs stand alone dealerships, people like to have loaner vehicles a nice waiting area with snacks. If you’re playing the luxury game the entire package needs to be delivered. Sadly, even if the product is superior this luxury clientele wants to feel special the German luxe brands deliver with this.

Stitch pattern and stitch quality, leather quality, fit-finish...are what separate good vs luxury.
      Value here is real.
I have had MBs, BMWs, Porsches, and this is a serious option at 20-25k less.
Sure driving dynamic is not as fun, but this is the one to for everyday luxury.
And they provide pickup and delivery services, so there is no need to set foot in dealerships.

Respectfully I can name one that based on this reviews is less pricey and has more prestige at least for now. And Genesis has NOT proven itself in the depreciation or quality department as of yet. It's not the Lexus of the mid-2000 quality, trade in value etc. My 2019 Audi Q7 3.0 Prestige quattro came in brand new at $68,456 (full concierge for 3 years) and not at $73,000. I know it's 3.0 and not 3.5, I chose the 20 inchers (my choice) instead of the 22", but with Pirelli run flats with Nitro. Virtual cockpit, fullmpanoramic roof, cold and warm weather packages, every option available except (full disclosure) the adaptable suspension and no issues, none so far. And the steering wheel designs, no comparison, this looks like my granddad's Buick steering wheel. And we did an off road/snow/ice test drive with friends, one BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE and as u can imagine the Quattro smoked both BMW and Mercedes in the ice/snow. I also have a 2018 Q5 performance plus with all bells and whistles and from what I hear about the GV70 it won't be any cheaper. So where is the value proposition??? Every reviewer talks highly of the relatively new Genesis brand as a value alternative. I don't see it as an Audi owner and multiple Lexuses in the 2000-2014 range all brand new. Lexus, yes, used to be a value, both in price and reliability. Plus trade-in. Genesis has to prove itself first and then we can call it value proposition.

I'll have to disagree with everything you said except for the last row. That Aviator hybrid is nice, way better than the crappy Explorer.
But for everything above, are you sure you don't need AWD given the snow TX got this year? I've been to Texas and I live in Georgia. Yes, most time you won't need AWD if you only stay on the road. But if you are an active outdoors person like myself who constantly going to dirt roads, muddy roads, light off-roading etc, you will need some extra 2 wheels of power. Who needs an SUV if you never go off-pavement anyway? A minivan can hold more people and cargo, and a sedan is more comfortable to drive.
7 out of 9 vehicles I've owned are Ford products, but I have to say that the modern ford is much worse coming to design, manufacture quality, and interiors comparing to their Korean counterpart. 21.8 mpg on that old 3.5 ecoboost in a sedan is nothing to bragging for. The air drag of sedan vs. SUV is totally different. With that same engine in my F150, I get only 15 MPG.
