The #GenesisGV80 is the brand's first-ever SUV for 2021. It hit a tree full speed without skid mark, roll over several times yet tiger wood only suffered leg injuries with conscious. Im gonna buy it next time

So happy with our new GV80, we went all out and purchased the Prestige with ALL the bells and whistles and boy are we happy this is an awesome car and for the price point for the top of the line car is great. We are in total luxury when we drive it, the safety aspects of the car make it as safe as any Benz. We get many compliments from people and have even noticed people taking pictures of it as well.
Test drive one and you will see what a I mean. It’s fun to always be learning new things about what this can do…it’s really a smart car and I’m sure future models will only get better.

My 2020 Sonata has Grey on Tan and looks awesome as well.
Korean brands are slowly but surely taking over. Samsung. LG. Hyundai/Genesis. I'm not even Korean but I'm proud of their effort and growth.

It's all about development. Euro first, then US, then Japan, then Korea, the next will be China, then will be India. It takes 30 yrs to make good cars. Japan 60s to 90s. Korea 90s to 20s. China 10s to 40s, India maybe 30s to 60s?

Now someone who's had Lexus Acura Infiniti will def consider genesis. Also when u lease German it won't matter of the car has problems or we cause its a lease. Buying on the other hand genesis beats German in the long run but so does Lexus

@@SimornM I drove a 2020 g70 awd 2.0t on Halloween. Fucking amazing. I’d go for the v6 though but. Everything else, including the handling and feel of driving, was great.
Time and consistent iterations. I feel like the luxury cars from the Europeans are just resting on their laurels with people just defaulting to them. They need to be careful, Cadillac used to be top dog for example, now it is pretty much an after thought

Hyundai have gotten the best designers from luxury brands, they have Audi and BMW designers now working for them and the guy that designed the Murciélago is working for Hyundai!****

I absolutely love this SUV. The refinement, looks (ULTRA-LUXURY). Just seeing this SUV, I would purchase it, on the spot. Genesis, great job on styling in and out.

@@sv52308 do you really think it cost 3x more to build the bentley? did you know the people who designed this gv80 are the same people who built and designed all the recent bentleys? guess what, they work for genesis now, as well as the former bmw exec. they designed the genesis models the last few years. also, did you know the g80 from a few years ago was the same sound system as the bentley? only difference was the one in the genesis was upgraded and higher quality compared to the bentley. do your research dude. its like those idiots who pay 15k for a purse thinking its actually 5x better than a 3k purse.

@@Peace2U2212 Linda, what did you actually end up buying? We've been looking at Audi Q7 but this Genesis gives it a run for the money. Audi v6 "starts" at 73K. Plus, the Audi q7 was just uncomfortable, in my opinion.
All Genesis models now adopted this new character & styling, but what I don't like about Hyundai & KIA products is that a few years down the road they will introduce a new character & styling. If you look at Mercedes, BMW & Audi they have defined their character and what represents their brand over the decades and they stick with it.

I dont think they'll switch it up. I think they've been trying to find their style and now that they finally found it i dont think they'll stray to far from what they stumbled upon now since this is a big hit. Only time will tell tho. As long as it looks good im ok with change. People who arent buying the german cars dont really care about the "brand" so to speak they just want a nice car with good features for a good price.

Me too... I’m in Alberta. I did not want the third row so when Sofyan said Prestige only had 2 rows, I was pretty happy because it would mean I got a spare tire.... which I prefer. The American market gets a much nicer selection of colours than us. That Gold Coast Silver is STUNNING!!!
I own 2 BMW X vehicles, and will be trading one in very soon. I will have to take one of these for a spin, I don’t know if I’m ready to park one of these in my driveway but I’m curious for sure. Please let us know how your vehicle holds up over the next couple years.

It's the GV80 and the Aviator as tops in class in my book. The interior in this GV80 is stunning.
Ford needs to give a 100k warranty and then it would be a real battle. We have Ford fleet vehicles at my company and the transmissions love to break after 70K.

I love the Aviator also but prefer to keep the length of vehicle that matches my MKX and wonder if you know which is longer between Aviator and Genesis.

My family leased in aviator in February and love it so far! GV80 would've been in consideration if it had actually been available and if it had air suspension

Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia is putting most competitors on high alert. Since the Palisade and Tuluride, I've seen most competitors respond with revamping their interiors to look and feel more modern or luxurious.
Genesis is kicking ass. This is one more sweet ride.
Genesis is evolving as quickly as Kia and Hyundai. Some busy people and talented people in that group

This particular model is absolutely awesome. If I had the cash, this will be my touring limousine. Spacious inside, top quality craftsmanship and materials used here. The instrument cluster and infotainment screens really looks the part. It get my 💯% stamp of approval. Once again, the detailed presentation made all the difference.

i think a gv90 and even a gv70 with this crossover fad going on could really increase genesis sales by a lot
GV70 will be here around April. It looks amazing!! I have heard talks of a definite larger GV90 coming later, and possibly a subcompact GV60.
The gv90 polly will share the same body on frame platform as the new kia mohave, which will probably compete with the gx460 and land rover discovery, as full size luxury suv is too big for South Korea streets

This is a beautiful vehicle. It drove like a small vehicle. I was very impressed with it.

I saw one at the dealership yesterday while my G80 was being serviced. I have to say they are even more gorgeous in-person!
Very happy to see another competent manufacturer produce a high quality offering in this segment. Aside from depreciation and maintenance costs after lease and or the warranty has ran out, I would be interested to see the long term reliability of this platform.
I agree with your first statement but no one buys these cars for reliability. Technology changes so fast these days, no one wants to own a car for 20 years whether it is reliable or not.

I like that you showed the second and third row of the Advance with the 3rd row, but I believe the prestige has ventilated second row seats. It also has power seats. That would have been nice to see. I would also like an interior review of the base model. Loved the video though!

The GV80 is seriously impressive! Sedans are more my speed though so I'd take the G80! Riding in certain kinds of vehicles I don't have a problem with but I feel a bit too high up when I drive an SUV.
