Your dungeon guide videos are awesome. Even for someone like me, who played retail WoW through WoD, it's good to have a nice refresher...and your videos nailed it.
So nostalgic. I remember one raid that the Beast, who was almost dead, had wiped everyone but my Paladin who also just happened to be a gnomish engineer. I had the Gnomish Death Ray trinket, so in desperation, about to die, I bubbled (negating the life drain effect) and activated it. It CRITTED and the Beast was DEAD!
Such a great dungeon and it was such an accomplishment to beat it with 5 players instead of 10. We really had to be on it as a 5 man group and have decent equipment. And this was a time when even level 60 players were often still rocking green items they got 5-10 levels ago, sometimes even earlier.
After doing UBRS 35-40 times, yesterday I finally got Painweaver Band! Of those ~40 runs I only seen PWB drop 3 times. It’s a really hard item to get unless you are lucky (like the hunter on his first UBRS run that out rolled me a few days ago) because it seems everyone wants it and the groups are often stacked to the brim with rogues, hunters, warriors and even the occasional enhanced shaman. It’s rare to get many casters wanting to do a full UBRS with not much BiS for them in the instance. I’ve been on runs with FIVE of the ten raid members being warriors. KEK.
On Drakkisath, we used to just ignore the elites and just tank and spank nuke the boss and then get the adds after. OT on the two elites and MT and the rest just nuke boss.
You actually need to use two of emberstrife's abilities. One is a flame breath and the other is a cooling breath before the Seal of Ascension is created.
For this videos contest for a free month of WoW: What was my first hunter pet (excluding the initial 3 for the quest). The more specific the better (i.e Westfall Boar as opposed to Boar).
I like the guides, but some text on the screen would help as well. Maybe something like (You need to clear this whole room) at 10:37. You were talking about it, but I'll generally be tanking on my main screen as I go through these so text helps a lot when it comes to having to replay that last few seconds of what you had said there. 11:53, be careful as the orc elites will knock party members off the ledge into the eggs. Other than that it was an awesome guide!
Dude UBRS "upper blackrock spire" was never a 10 man raid. It was a 5 man dungeon back in vanilla. If you need to 10 man this dungeon your trash and go back to retail.

Such close call saves seem miraculous but are somewhat common due to just how many people play the game. And it's always cool as hell when it happens.

Back in 2004 and 2005 I always did this as a 5 man run Gratz Guide as well 10/10

You forgot to mention that Drakkisath's Conflag is a de-aggro ability too, so off tank is always a good idea here.

Poisond Water is not shareable since you get a Quest Item that you have to use on the mobs
