Me selling my bag of marbles: wow, that’s almost a whole silver!
The first time i played wow my uncle and his gf were 60s at the time and she made me a full set of runecloth bags which i quickly discovered vendored for like 40 silver each or so, I was a rich man! (i thought)
@@Kagarin05 Ooops XD
Lol those new spells aren't going to pay for themselves!
Lmfao i sold it 😭🤣
Trick is to sell them, be greedy, let the other nerds keep theirs and use in your raid
There is a case to be made for the Really Sticky Glue, that you get from the quest in Durotar only for the Horde.
Skull of Impending Doom (break out of CC, prevent CC, run away): 1:34
Nifty Stopwatch (run away): 3:30
Bag of Marbles (reduce hit chance of end game bosses): 5:25
Light of Elune (10 second one time use invulnerability): 7:40
Noggenfogger Elixir (slowfall for 2 minutes): 9:20
Linken's Boomerang (ranged trinket with chance to stun or disarm): 11:30
Spirit of Aquementas (+20 spell power): 11:30
Linken's Sword of Mastery (decent starter tank weapon): 11:30
Barov Peasant Caller (Spawns 3 minions): 13:45
You don't fully appreciate the noggenfogger elixer - turning into a skeleton grants unlimited breathing underwater; however you can't use your mount.
Great way to kill people under water for pvp
there's a staff from gnomer that's gives water breathing too
cant mount underwater anyway :)
If you use a deviate fish u can mount and cancel the deviate and voila
Since it's so early. Just wanted to say thanks for the videos and improving my wow experience by 100000% really appreciate it, much love!
Carrot on a stick is a pretty nice one to get too.
Only 3%, unfortunately, there is a blacksmithing thingy that pretty much does the same attach to boot item
I had that back in the day. Didn’t realize it was only 3% drop!
@// Deadset there was a way for hunters to get 10% mount speed from a Talent point but that might have been TBC with the Spurs and that Trinket you would have some speedy Hunters
// Deadset ok I see what you’re saying. Yes I definitely used to use it with the spurs too.
@// Deadset I was wearing a carrot on a stick and a lvl 50 warlock was easily able to catch up to me. I was surprised because I thought even if he had spurs he wouldn't be much fast than me, but it was noticeable.
This is one of your most helpful videos so far.
Thank you so much!
Notes to keep handy so that you know when to return to this video...
1 in Elwynn Forest lv4
Light of Elune from Ashenvale quest, lv25
2 in Badlands lv30, 35
1 in Tanaris lv44-49: Noggenfogger Slow Fall
1 Un’goro crater lv56
Last Barov, Western Plaguelands, level 52-60
Wow, there is so much to this game I did not know about, thanks for these videos, keep em coming.
Dude this last one I've never heard of. Bad ass, subbed
Just a note, Linken's Boomerang can crit.
Thanks!! your videos are so good I like them a lot!
Loved the peasant caller. Lots never knew about it. Always good to surprise ppl while dueling
I remember classic wow with quest chains that you actually had to read and go to and discover new stuff so much fun
This was exactly what I was looking for!
thanks for the vid, just started playing WoW and did infact skip a couple of these so i will have to go back!
My favourite trinket in retail was that windmill you get in Ungoro from the quest chain involving Maximillian - a knight errant who'd been out in the woods too long and had developed some rather quirky delusions. It had agility stats that lasted me all the way through Lich King, and would proc a windmill that would fight at your side for 10 min.
this is a classic video bro take ur windmill back to retail and dnt come back
@@greeno6109 I don't really care about your prejudice. You are an anonymous troll on the internet. Your opinion is moot.
Thx man! I totally forgot about these.
Quest: "This is going to be hard"
Punkrat: Actually, it's pretty simple
Barely an inconvenience
It might be simple but it was tedious, took me two hours to do the first part because of how many people were also there trying to get it done.
+[Blender For All]
This guy gets it.
I don't remember saying that.
@@IAmKnightsDawn You aint Quest , you Queste. Learn to read fucktard
I can confirm that some enemies can resist the marbles.
Most of the items are level or raid/dungeon restricted even if it doesn't say. I've been caught flat footed a few times.
I'd say the elite quest in hinterlands that provides the ap / hit chance trinket is bloody important. Definitely a trinket that is heavily used in the early stages of the end game imo. It's ad specific though.
Love his videos.. never boring
shout out to the firebreathing flask from the dwarf in the hills of westfall post level 40
was just about to comment that one classic.wowhead.com/item=744/thunderbrews-boot-flask
Their used to be a recipe fire breathing chili or something similar to that, I think you actually puked on your enemies when you burped which did damage
your shit was really good. hope you are well. happy holidays!
Thunderbrew's Boot Flask is a fairly useful trinket. By the time I hit 40 on my Druid tank I didn't have any trinkets yet so doing that quest was worthwhile. Now I have a 30min button to stop a wipe from happening when one of the dps gets a little too gung-ho and I need to build aggro on everything right that instant. Not end game viable, but a nice to have when it becomes available.
Thanks bro for all that stuff :o
I am actually on my way to do the Badlands quests, so will be looking out and doing the quest for the trinket. :D
Drop rate is super low, I spent an hour killing the elementals and didn't get a single drop before I gave up. I'm probably going to revisit it this weekend though now that I can kill them faster, because that trinket is nice
@@KjKase I got it in like an hour its not bad.
@@Zurius wow, idk what went on with me then... maybe I'll try again, but yeah, I was thinking it was bugged or something and just quit. I was killing the right mobs too, so I'm not sure why it was so difficult, other people in zone chat concurred that the drop rate was crazy low.
@@KjKase like I'll admit I started to kill the higher lvl ones near the ones I needed for the first part of the chain and they wouldn't drop what I needed. That did happen. Didnt realize it at first. Lol
@@Zurius Wow, so I just went back to the same spot and tried it again and I completed the quest within 5 minutes... Something was definitely wrong or bugged when I tried it before.
Light of Elune will be used to win the duel tourny i am calling it now.
will just get disqualified
@bean machine 100% banned, only for alliance
@@Shotgunz999 Tips Method dueling compilation is horde only so it doesn't matter either way.
You forgot about "Really Sticky Glue". 10 charges that will root enemies for 10 seconds. It's great for PvP and this quest is for level 6. I love your videos keep up the good work man.
Good to know now that I’m leveling my warrior
It doesn't work... Blizzard nerfed it. Equiping usable items ALWAYS triggers 30sec CD on them. So changing them mid-combat is useless. This is not Vanilla. This is the modern, "rebalanced" Classic. Go play free servers if you want this to work the way it used to in original Vanilla.
@@michalvalta5231 "So changing them mid-combat is useless."
As a hunter or a rogue, changing your trinkets mid-combat most definitely isn't useless, even if there is a 30 sec cd.
for me last two videos I didn't rate this video though is very well done and alot of effort put into it, I hope you realise how you have great skill and creativity that you should can and have achieved here, great video
crazy to be here again 3 years later, using the same guide this time in HC!
Absolutely loved the barons trinket. Saved my ass so many times. Even won a couple 2v1s on my warrior tank when some hordies thought they had the upper hand
Dude you're the best!
thank you!
You are helping me a ton by your guides ❤️ first time in wow
I got my light og Elune, and used it. It saved my life, but it was a mistake. I did not realise it was one use. Well, if I had known it would probably just sot there, as you stated.
What about the quest that gives you "Datrol's rod of transformation"? 3 mins of furbolg transformation is cool, just don't hand in the skull at the quest end, or you lose the rod.
Took me a few alts before I realized the reward wasn't worth it really so I did start keeping the rod
Still got my bag of marbles as well as those candles that reduce armor and prevents enemies from stealthing.
Also the mount speed trinket from Zul Farak is very useful.
Very good. But you missed an important feature of the Noggenfogger elixir, when you drink it, it says 'you are not breathing'. I've tested this and this means it functions as an underwater no breath potion.
I'm on my third 60 and I've never seen the light of Elune! makes sense though since i choose not to level in Ashenvale. Really cool item though im going to go pick it up on this toon to add to the collection!
Chunkrat video PogU
Punkrat is taking over, as he is the only classic WoW CZcamsr that still posts videos! The others are too addicted it would seem.
Already farmed all these trinkets and the skull lol can't wait for pvp
I vendored my Bag of Marbles. I am filled with regret.
The underwater breathing staff from Gnomeregan is also pretty useful if you can wear it.
I don't have access to WoW and your videos are still so enjoyable.
The skeleton one for the elixer is also nice since you don't breath so underwater away
Horde quest to teleport to Gnomeregan is pretty important for pummeler farm. Especially since you can only do it in the right level range
You can use the gnomeregan teleport forever, if you lose the item you can get another from the guy next to the portal.
I miss watching your stream and hanging bro. Come back soon ya crazy canuck
I remember back in the day Light of Elune was notBoP, but was limit 1. I kept buying them off the AH for a few silver and mailing them back and forth to myself. Then BoP patch hit and I ended up with like 20 of the things on a bank alt and only 3-4 on my main. :p
Not a quest reward, but pretty underapreciated aswell is Magic Dust from westfall dust elementals. Its a consumable that stuns the target for 10sec. It's pretty expensive on the ah
last one alive, 1% ragnaros
Light of Elune: Now's your chance, use me!
Yes, but what if I need it later?
Technically the chain is broken up in a weird way and actually starts with the Doomsayer's Robe quest for pre-instance uldaman.
I either disenchanted or vendored half of these items, gr8
Don't forget Mark of the Chosen! Has a 2% chance when struck in combat of increasing all stats by 25 for 1 min. As a tank I must say I loved this trinket
I got light of Elune on every Alliance character I ever rolled...and I got quite a few to level 26+. Out of all those characters I used it once...and it wasnt even in PVP. But yeah, I never wanted to use it since it was a one time deal. Quite playing a decade ago, but makes me want to go back and use it in a BG or big world PVP situation.
that Linken Boomerang would be amazing for Main Tanks pull a Mob and disarm him and the same time
There is a lvl 3 quest at the inn in Goldshire, to go get kobold candles from the nearest mine, which can be done in tandem with the gold dust quest. This chains into a delivery to stormwind where you turn in to receive 1 of 3 different consumables. Only one of them is a stack of 15 explosive rockets that have no use requirement, a short cooldown, and do 35 damage at decent range. This item isn't bound, and can be sold in AH, or mailed to your other characters, allowing for example, a Prot Paladin to pull mobs in dungeons without spec'ing into Holy shock.
Personally I create new characters, grind them for gear and xp to lvl 3.8 in northshire, and then turn in 2 quests (Wolves/Kobolds), and go to goldshire Inn to pickup lvl 3 quest. Kill a couple lvl 5 spiders on the way to the mine, and fight kobolds until completing the quest. Then return to the inn (usually by dieing to save time cause I do this, a lot of times) and then deliver candles to Stormwind trade district on my way to the Stormwind inn to sell all my gear and equipment and mail the remaining silver and explosive rockets to my main tank. Then I delete the character after receiving the mail on my main and repeat the process. Easiest time with Warrior, only farmable like this with human characters on alliance.
Do you know of Magic Candles? Can be farmed on any char. Has 1 min cd tho. But if mobs are scary enough for a needed range-pull, you will prob fight for 1 min anyway.
classic.wowhead.com/item=1399/magic-candle
or you can just make/buy ez thro dynamite which can be used by non-engineers
Dude ur awesome I love u bro
13:16 “Has a chance to stun or disarm which means it can stun or disarm.” I didn’t understand what he meant until I hit rewind & heard it again.
The noggen best use is the skeleton it allows to breathe underwater.
Undead Warlock I can stay underwater forever LoL
i actually had a rogue try to gank me underwater and needless to say he drowned himself
@@shamrock5133 this may have been me
Searing gorge's thorium Brotherhood grants a trinket that removes bleed effect is neat for rogues to escape
It's the `Luffa and yes it's very useful. Also one from Maraudon i believe that can cure poison.
Spirit of Aquementas is a pre-raid BiS for mage if you use a dagger, all the way up until MC which is pretty nuts.
Looks like preraid healer bis too
I know this video is old but I want to say that I still have my Light of Elune from my original character playthrough on my retail account. I never could use it. I even had it on my bar and never used it.
Good content, I like your voice too.
I'm sensing a bit of preference towards the alliance in this list.
Do the umguro crystal pylons quests and winterspring Eko quests too as they come in hand for pve
That bad feel when you accidentally sold some of these not really thinking about it. Super bad feel.
You can item restore any item. I think it has a two week cd but no reason to feel bad.
Well considering its only useful 10 times , thats not many uses when consodering a worlds first push, seems like the 10 uses comes with grinding to 60 with it
You are not alone
Pop the Barov trinket in DM East for the Satyr boss fight & he sometimes sacrifices one of them instead of a player. ;)
"Yo guys, pockaranevidyoo" ❤
Ray Charles Bahahahahaha I thought the same thing, I replayed the first 5 seconds of the video 3 times like “what in the fuck did he just say?” Lol
Pokranovviyo
Absolutely lazy and sounds like shit.
Slowing the speed down really lets you hear it.
(Somebody should seriously do a compilation of the intros in a video)
Fishliver Oil is a quest reward you get after completing a super simple fishing/kill murloc quest in Redridge Mountains (alliance only) the on use effect is 10% faster attack speed for 30 sec. really quite amazing.
As a rogue, i realized it was slice and dice or fishliver oil, they replaced which ever was used last, unlike blade flurry stacking with slice and dice
Mate, you got the Alliance exclusive marbles, what about the Horde exclusive Really Sticky Glue? Huge in PvP. Good for getting range on people when trying to kite or catching up to people trying to kite you
Do a video about class quest people might skip. Like the warrior q in ST that rewards you with a BiS trinket for quite a time.
You sound a lot like another good youtuber I like. The channel is called Liberal Hivemind. Similar voice and the way you apply your emphasis is eerily congruent. Seriously, are you the same person? Either way, great video and thanks for the help.
furbog transformation wand is also a must
Scorpid surprise is a better skull of impending doom. Horde only and has to be used preemptively
I still have my Light of Elune from vanilla and I still have it on my decked out 120 Mage.
@10:00 WTF I can give my Warlock a 2 MIn Slowfall
That's amazing
I wanted to do Pila's Quest for that trinket Slowfall on Lock is OP
you forgot to mention the skeleton effect increases your underwater breathing by a bit too
Hey man ! Are you from Montreal ? Just wondering because of the flower-like logo in your name.
Good got the first
Last time I checked the bag of marbles tool tip on classic said that it will not work on mobs over lvl 45. I don't remember that being on the tool tip in vanilla. So, the devs probably patched it due to the potential to exploit the item. And hit never really gave a crap about PvP in general. It was a great walk down memory lane though, thanks for the video!
You are sure the tooltip said this for Classic? And, are you saying it would have worked against other players at higher level pvp like over 45?
Billy after having completed the quest multiple times now, the tooltip does not have a level cap on it. It’s a shame because I ended up selling them on my first classic character after reading it. As far as the reduction to hit and PvP, 25% is nothing to laugh at... so I’m sure it would be effective but not sure if that would be the best use for the item.
What about the tidal trinket!! Great for pvp
Honestly you should get skull of impending doom closer to 60 since you can solo the elites and it is still doing tbc damage/mana drain
I've heard skull has been doing this for values D: so hopefully that will be fixed
Imagine wanting to fix all the fun from the game we play
Light of Elune + Super sticky Glue + Bag of Marbles in Nax would be OP
Lol. I stumbled into Linken on my belf paladin by accident. I think I still have the boomerang and the sword in my bank because I'm a Zelda player. I saw him and just could not walk away and not talk to him.
But there is only a gravesite that wants spore pods there now in BfA...I guess Linken moved on around time of the cataclysm lol. ( its the horses grave if anyone is wondering)
I can't remember the qst line, but the trinket that is green quality and gives 20 ap and 1% hit in the hinterlands I think. I also think its horde only qst. In the part with all the elite trolls near the horde flight path
Job Opening: Guard Captain of Revantusk or something like that
lol i was getting called stupid for holding onto the bag of marbles. i knew it was hella good
part 2 plz :P
Are you going to do the Horde side?
Key To Searing Gorge is not very useful but in early days there was no FP at Thorium Point so was vary important when raiding MC.
on TBC I used noggenfogger about 3500 times. also i have light of elune right now on my bag .. lol
Can't say that it's a really good item, but i think Thunderbrew's Boot Flask should be mentioned here.
It is the Sweet Amber quest line.
You forgot to mention the underwater breathing effect of the noggenfogger elixer while undead.
Can you do a Video about the best trinkets For PvP or PvE
Any word on the use of the bag of marbles?
Is it still as strong or is it patched (against raid bosses)?
skull of impending doom is Nerf very much in classic right now it does TBC damage for some reason not the normal classic moment.
