On my server, I have never found a spot uncontested during the hours I can play. With that said, I didn't even know of these spots and wouldn't have known about the saytrs in ashera without Frost.

Check the time. Bet he farming on weekdays early morning time n stuff . Epl was 5.37 in thr morning ofc its good to farm these. No point goin epl at peak times atleast not for mining herb or the shadow pot its always farmed
White bandit mask; 1x mageweave bolt, 1x heavy silken thread and 1 bleach. It vendors for approx 43s each. Provided you buy the mageweave for less than 5s each, the gold will add up pretty quick. I'm not sure if you've mentioned this in any of your videos. I managed to have 500g by level 50, just from fishing up lockboxes and using tailoring to make and vendor masks. It's a great way to profit while sem-iAFK .
What's crazy is how Frost gets things like arcane crystals and other things to drop in his guides, and im here mined over 200 or so rich thorium and havent seen a single arcane crystal or blue sapphire. :|
I get they've probably changed some things since this video came out, but currently all 3 of these spots are abysmal for gold farming now... 1st place is 95% slimes that spawn oozelings, I was grinding alone for 3 hours and only killed 7 elementals. Only 2 rich thorium veins in that time as well... Slimes drop 1-2 silver on average, only got 3 bags in 3 hours, all of which had less that 10 silver. Probably averaged about 3-4G per hour. Uselesss. 2nd one was the same, grubs would not drop the acids, I've only got 1 from 2 hours so far. The bats lowering movement speed makes this a nightmare... along with their unpredictable patrol patterns where they sprint 200+ yards straight into wherever you're fighting. Only up side to this one was patrolling rich thorium veins, without them I averaged 4g/hour. Same with the third place, 3 hours grinding and no recipe drops. 1 green and no thorium in the entire time, aside from a few smalls, which don't even spawn arcane crystals. Not saying this guy is lying, but I'm pretty sure all of these are out dated at this point. All 3 of these spots were total ass for me
My spot is outside Grim Batol. Every green weapon is 10g a pop on AH and I've had like 3 drop in 40 minutes. Eternium Lockboxes also. But the dragons themselves drop 30s each. Skinners can skin them for a extra bit of silver. The density of them outside Grim Batol is silly, but not as bad as Blasted Lands.
the nature restist pot recipe goes for 94-110 gold on my server :O the larval acid goes for 6-8 gold, arcane crystal 55-57 gold each and recipe: greater shadow prot pot is 25-31 gold. So the nature resist goes for 3 times as much. so spot number 1 looks like the best if you have luck with drops
So if memory serves, you can kill the blue slimes quickly and jump back before the little ones spawn. They have a very low agro radius and if you're 60 you can loot without pulling them. You just have to be careful when you do this because the big blue slimes will pull them if you fight close by.
The guy says he's not lucky with the rolls, but he's extremely lucky with the drops etc. I remember grinding that GNPP recipe for my alchemist for 4-5 hours before I got the drop. It took me half the time to grind the GSPP recipe and I never saw any herb spawns while I was doing it. One can only be envious of how lucky this guy is.
Politely speaking, I was farming The Weeping Cave for months before your video, you don't really think about this, cause as someone who actually farmed the spot in reality, it takes 5hrs PER DAY to get any substance out of that cave, good day you make 90g, bad day is 10g. an Epic day, you might get 500g in items OVER FIVE-EIGHT HOURS. if no one is in the cave Now you have posted this video, the cave is full of people who drag the tiny oozes into the AOE of those classes, and then purposely kill other players.... sure I get ppl love to make gold... but how about you actually tell the truth about the cave and say you have to spend hours in it, unlike other spots

Keep in mind that grinding items and selling them on Auction House brings less cash when more peoples grind for the same thing and because of that offer at lower prices. Even if only 5-20 peoples from your server saw this video (likely much more since it had 67k views in 24 hours) they will start to grind there and sell the same items. The more peoples grind for something, the less money can be made out of this particular items on Auction house. In WOTLK times peoples were rarely hanging longer in starting locations of previous expansion. So I learned to fly around there, mine Fel Iron and were selling it for around 300G if others were offering it on AH and when nobody did I were putting them on for 500-700G and had them sold within 3 hours. Funny given that I remember how prices were one expansion earlier. When I were going to auction house full stack were less than 5G. Best gridning spot is not the one you see on youtube (unless you milk it only for 2-5 days after video drops) but the one you discover yourself. Stable spot that is. Nonetheless for peoples who tend to grind for 20 hours and then cant look at given place,mob,ore . PS: I'm waiting for more videos because I like to watch game I played 14 years ago. Also, along the northern parts of EPL, the Monstrous Plaguebats drop Evil Bat Eye's. Those are about to be used for the DMF in P3 to redeem for x20 DMF tickets. 1200 tickets will get the amulet. I'm getting eyes off nearly 1 in 3 bats average, maybe 1 in 5 on a bad run. The prices are rnaging from 80s all the way up to 2g+ per eye at the moment

Stay away from the WPL cave, especially if you're alliance. In over 3 hours I was ganked 11 times by rogues in there (its a 4 minute walk back btw), mined RTV's 5 times (only got ore/dense stone), and 3 green drops.
I miss the old format of rags to riches where you discussed some lore related to the spot also. These videos are awesome but the lore part was what made rags to riches special!
Great locations! I got a tip for you though mister! Buy a pair of WHITE cloth gloves from any starting zone and enchant them with +5 mining skill and equip them when you are mining. That increases the chance for you to hit as many times as possible on the ores. White quality means also that you can trade them around on all your alts if you decide to mine on another toon! watched your vid it was awesome!! i went there and camped the spot north east. Went back and forth for about 20 mins jus to camp the chest...AND BOOM! Lotus spawn - not 1 min went by i saw 4 people ride here and there. Also, mined the node 2 mins after the lotus, and got an Arcane Crystal.... but thats not all, killed the next 2 mobs and got the Shadow protection. All under 30 mins. Broken AF

On my server Rattlegore, I cannot farm at any time of day without horde already picked, mined, killed whatever. It doesn't matter if its 7pm or 4am server. And if you do manage to find something at 2am, miraculously there's a party of horde rolling up on you at the same time.
Advice for Resto Shaman? Killing anything is hard since all your talents are set for healing and all your offensive options either hit softly, have long cast times, or both (also nature damage is highly resisted in the world).
You make nice videos, but you always forget the mention very important factors. Professions are mandatory to get these numbers (herbalism and mining), also you're getting pickpocket gold and using stealth for efficient farm. This is not for all classes, even if it was, not a lot of people will have these professions. This seems to be a common theme in your videos.

I tried the Weeping Cave grind for a few hours on my Priest and managed to get 2 Nature Protection Potion recipes. Those recipes sell for 63g each on Sulfuras currently. I did not get any oozing pets, but I did get a few Wintersbite. So I think this grind is heavily based on luck and AH prices. I certainly did not make 200g/hr, but with better luck perhaps it is possible?

@@zerogaara95101 I don't have it in front of me at the moment but it's something like: #showtooltip Sinister Strike /cast Pick Pocket /cast Sinister Strike (Rank #) But it might also be a cast sequence, I can't recall. But what it will do is briefly pick pocket when you use an opener from stealth before actually casting the opener. So long as the pick pocket wasn't resisted you will get the loot when the mob dies or right after it's cast - kind of depends on batching. Edit: Make sure you turn ON auto looting
@@zerogaara95101 I recommend a specific pick pocket macro that allows you to spam in certain situations: #showtooltip Pick Pocket /cleartarget /targetenemy /cast Pick Pocket This is great for groups of mobs in dungeons or just farming BRD or really anything. Careful though when you have multiple types of mobs and not all can be picked, but this just takes some getting used to. As for the macros with pick pocket on openers, I believe this mainly works as you approach because Pick Pocket has a slightly longer range than openers and therefore casts before initiating combat. Hope that helps!
I have my pick pocketing macro. I use it before opening it not that hard to hit a button before opening. But I was just gonna integrate it also into a cheap shot

Unfortunately, this is not how the game works for non-content producers. I've spent 5 days part-time farming the cave with warrior while farming lashers in DME on mage and I got exactly 0 recipes out of around 200kills.
I mined like 30 rich thoriums and like 100-300 small ones I only found 1 arcane crystal Mining is so unreliable thorium is worth 10-50s on my server and herbs are worth 20s - 8g per huge difference
Damn, I bought my CHT for 150g lol. Hunter really was broke. Head through a scratch of dkp.(im a rogue so it's damn good vs a warrior.) I put up all my chips. Also won brutality. Can't imagine spending 2400g for them. Glad I got some luck.
What addons do you have installed to get the overall layout other than the bagnon? I like the way it looks when highlighting over items and when fighting mobs when it shows the status at the bottom.

This dude is lucky as hell. I've played at 5am server and its amazing, but non of the rich thoriums I hit ever give me an arcane crystal. Even at that time its another 4 or 5 people farming, at 7am it's like 20 people. I've never seen that many rich thoriums in 4hrs, his luck is insane or a dead server.
You just toggle back and forth. No different than a hunter switching tracking mob types. Just have both tracking abilities on your button bars, and toggle between the two before you leave the area you are in on the map. Whenever starting on a new server, I always picked up both herbalism, and mining to make money. Even on hunters or warlocks, who have limited bag space as is.

Farming Pattern: Cindercloth Cloak is also good. There's never anybody there. It's a 3% drop and sells for between 100g - 140g in my experience.

I'm in the exact same boat. Have mined 300+ RTVs with 3 arcane crystals.

Great locations! I got a tip for you though mister! Buy a pair of WHITE cloth gloves from any starting zone and enchant them with +5 mining skill and equip them when you are mining. That increases the chance for you to hit as many times as possible on the ores. White quality means also that you can trade them around on all your alts if you decide to mine on another toon! i went there and camped the spot north east. Went back and forth for about 20 mins jus to camp the chest...AND BOOM! Lotus spawn - not 1 min went by i saw 4 people ride here and there. Also, mined the node 2 mins after the lotus, and got an Arcane Crystal....
but thats not all, killed the next 2 mobs and got the Shadow protection. All under 30 mins. Broken AF

gathered the nature pattern in 7 mins, sold it 100 gold. also the oozes can be pick pocketed for 2-5 silver

On my server Rattlegore, I cannot farm at any time of day without horde already picked, mined, killed whatever. It doesn't matter if its 7pm or 4am server. And if you do manage to find something at 2am, miraculously there's a party of horde rolling up on you at the same time.

Advice for Resto Shaman? Killing anything is hard since all your talents are set for healing and all your offensive options either hit softly, have long cast times, or both (also nature damage is highly resisted in the world).
Go with a buddy and do Dire Maul and Maraudon runs for thorium and plants runs :) it's the only thing to do as resto shamy, I know the pain bro 😂
You make nice videos, but you always forget the mention very important factors. Professions are mandatory to get these numbers (herbalism and mining), also you're getting pickpocket gold and using stealth for efficient farm. This is not for all classes, even if it was, not a lot of people will have these professions. This seems to be a common theme in your videos.

I tried the Weeping Cave grind for a few hours on my Priest and managed to get 2 Nature Protection Potion recipes. Those recipes sell for 63g each on Sulfuras currently. I did not get any oozing pets, but I did get a few Wintersbite. So I think this grind is heavily based on luck and AH prices. I certainly did not make 200g/hr, but with better luck perhaps it is possible?

You really should macro pickpocket to your openers from stealth. You're missing out on tons of gold by not doing that.
List the macro? You use showtooltip or just add it before?

But it might also be a cast sequence, I can't recall.
But what it will do is briefly pick pocket when you use an opener from stealth before actually casting the opener. So long as the pick pocket wasn't resisted you will get the loot when the mob dies or right after it's cast - kind of depends on batching.
Edit: Make sure you turn ON auto looting
And you can replace sinister strike with whatever ability you want, ambush, cheap shot, etc..

This is great for groups of mobs in dungeons or just farming BRD or really anything. Careful though when you have multiple types of mobs and not all can be picked, but this just takes some getting used to.
As for the macros with pick pocket on openers, I believe this mainly works as you approach because Pick Pocket has a slightly longer range than openers and therefore casts before initiating combat.

Unfortunately, this is not how the game works for non-content producers. I've spent 5 days part-time farming the cave with warrior while farming lashers in DME on mage and I got exactly 0 recipes out of around 200kills.

I mined like 30 rich thoriums and like 100-300 small ones I only found 1 arcane crystal
Mining is so unreliable thorium is worth 10-50s on my server and herbs are worth 20s - 8g per huge difference

Yup, I tried that first spot, grinded 3 days, 4 hours/day and got nothing. Guess thats streamer only spot :)

Damn, I bought my CHT for 150g lol. Hunter really was broke. Head through a scratch of dkp.(im a rogue so it's damn good vs a warrior.) I put up all my chips. Also won brutality. Can't imagine spending 2400g for them. Glad I got some luck.
What addons do you have installed to get the overall layout other than the bagnon? I like the way it looks when highlighting over items and when fighting mobs when it shows the status at the bottom.

This dude is lucky as hell. I've played at 5am server and its amazing, but non of the rich thoriums I hit ever give me an arcane crystal. Even at that time its another 4 or 5 people farming, at 7am it's like 20 people. I've never seen that many rich thoriums in 4hrs, his luck is insane or a dead server.
dude ... I went to that cave for like for 30 minutes and I got two of these recipes then I went there for 10 and I got from Oozing bag that pet.

greater nature resistnace recipe I spent 16 hours farming on my mage from 57-59, literally got 2 levels off of them and never saw it.

How do you have mining/herbalism? U can only have one scan right?
You just toggle back and forth. No different than a hunter switching tracking mob types.
Just have both tracking abilities on your button bars, and toggle between the two before you leave the area you are in on the map.
Whenever starting on a new server, I always picked up both herbalism, and mining to make money. Even on hunters or warlocks, who have limited bag space as is.
