- At least two workers were killed and three others were hurt in a workplace shooting at a family-owned linen business in Chester, Pennsylvania, Wednesday. According to our partners at FOX 29 Philadelphia the shooter was a 'disgruntled' former employee at the business. Officials say co-workers were shot both inside and outside the store. The suspect did try and get away but was caught by police. Authorities provided an update.

I tried that , sometimes you get a jerk at work that just will not leave you alone. Your advice is good , but some people keep pushing someone, until they snap. Not knowing what happened, but sometimes co workers can push someone over the edge.

@@Fish-df5xc I agree. I put up with a jerk at work everyday running his big mouth at a job I got hired as a new employee for three years. Thankfully I did go to management and he did try to resolve the situation, as best as he could and thing's did improve, because I wasn't going to tolerate his mouth much longer.
But sometimes people get hurt or killed in these kind of work place situations, and are called victims, instigated the situation and were jerks to the disgruntled employee for many years before the person couldn't control their emotions anymore and something like this happens.
I know co workers can be your worse enemies also.

BTW, thus wasn't a random shooting of strangers. These people knew each other and worked together for hours every day. Something provoked this. Shooting wasn't right, but it happens. That is the terrain upon which we currently find ourselves deployed. To pretend it isn't is about as naive as it gets.

@@silentmajority8365it's quite possible they pushed a desperate, unstable person too far. This wasn't a random shooting of strangers. Like the commenter said "be nice to your coworkers". I doubt he shot people who were treating him well or fairly. Not saying shooting someone is the solution, but I am saying you shouldn't f*ck around and find out you pushed the wrong person too far. So in a way, yeah, very likely the people who were shot did something to make this guy snap, and they found out there are sometimes unforeseen consequences to treating people badly. You never know who you're dealing with or what they're willing to do if you push them too far. Just be nice to people and you most likely won't find yourself a "victim" of an unstable person finally snapping.

When authorities turn their deaf ears to a victim at work, then people take laws in their hands. Those who mess with others at work should always remember that one can not always get away with murder.

You can. Even in the most gun friendly states, most employers still won't allow you to bring your gun to work. I always keep one in my car, but it won't help if I'm at my desk, 200 yards from the parking lot, and someone starts shooting. It's an employer thing, not a state law thing.

Exactly, me too. I have security cameras around my trailer and a gun is the only thing I don’t have but I do have pepper spray, taser, pocket knives, a machete, and an aluminum baseball bat so I’d have everything covered at home. As far as being out I’ll always at least carry a knife on me as a last resort although I have carried a taser and pepper spray as well.
