Post-poning a whole leg of a tour for "a better opportunity"?? No girl that is so DISRESPECTFUL THO 😭
Taylor Swift worked on a new album during between her tour. And releasing it soon. Did she cancel the tour. No. Think that Jonas brothers tour tickets not selling out fast and still have alot left for Europe leg
@@traceyxxo_not a big ts fan but she also had her movie and made it to some of her mans games. if a solo artist could do that for like it feels like 2 years so can a boy group😭😭😭
@@traceyxxo_ it's a reflection of today's society. most men lack integrity and are losing themselves, whereas women excel
Exactly. People miss work, travel and book hotels to go to concerts. We don't have the luxury to just cancel all of that.
I would feel so annoyed if an artist cancled/rescheduled their concerts for some other project... like, they couldn't schedule whatever it is until after the tour?
Justin Bieber cancelled his shows TWICE here in Argentina. The first time he did a third of the show then called it off. He can't come back again.
@@agusrob and here some fans begging Justin era tour, he wouldn't do tour again. he would cancel it last minute LMAO

canceling a show or two is fine but the entire European leg??

@@leoprg5330 I'm a fan of them too but we cant ignore the business side of things😅
As someone who's show got rescheduled and I now can't attend, what got me most was the fact they could not even APOLOGISE. No 'sorry', nothing. I'm so glad I paid an extra fee for cancellation coverage and can get refunded. So unprofessional and shows how little they care for their fans.
Thank goodness
Perhaps stop going to.their concerts as its financially safer.
You don't get that insurance money back.❤
I'm sorry this happened to you. I would be spitting nails. I hope some how you will still get the chance to go.
hmm i didn’t know “ticket insurance” was a thing. i wonder how much money is made from that 🤔😒
@@princesscherry5217 I’m not sure and I honestly don’t often get it. I’m from the UK and with the O2 (one of the venues in London they were due to perform) I think I paid an extra £7 in case of cancellation. I had a sixth sense telling me to get it, even though I usually don’t.
That’s ridiculous! Why would anyone have to get insurance to get their money back for a service that wouldn’t be provided. This is why people claim so many chargebacks.
“exciting project” aka “we didn’t anticipate how exhausting this tour was.”
also there were probably travel arrangements already made, they really cancelled it last minute IN THIS ECONOMY. so unthoughtful.
@StevieNockmanThis is so tacky lmfao delete your useless account 😂 I heard McDonald’s is hiring?

Back in October I had booked flights, hotels and more to go see them in Vegas and they canceled a month before the concert. No apology or statement on their end. I’ve been a fan of them since I was 13…so they’re quite a disappointment in that sense
You know they don’t know you or care. Artists go on tour to make money. If better opportunities for more money come their way, they can and will drop your concert in seconds lol
Are you going to see them again? Personally I would show my appreciation for their attitude.
By investing my money elsewhere
@@sarahmoorhead8146Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t apologise
They don't need to care about a fan individually but they should still care about their job. If they keep disappointing fans they won't have better opportunities. Would you work with someone who keeps 'leaving' for better opportunities?
I was supposed to go to their concert in 2013, which they canceled part of their tour back then as well. Im sensing a pattern here
It’s been worse for their fans in México 💀 here in Guadalajara (México) they had a concert date for 2022 and it was “postponed”… They haven’t said anything about the new date until today, even though they are coming back to Mexico this year (to others states). A lot of people are still waiting on the refunds for their tickets .
THISSS
Im not even a fan of them anymore (i was, around 2009 lol) but i heard about that and i saw people complaining that year, cant believe they still havent got their refunds
my sister was telling me about this, how fucked up, the economy has not been the best specially last year and for them to not refund their fans? que poca madre tienen, yo era fan cuando era adolescente pero con los años solo siguen demostrando que no valen la pena

Oh my gosh that is horrible. What the actual f***. I can only imagine the anger felt, I'm pissed and it didn't even happen to me.
NGL having Nick break the news is giving "you ask mom cause you're her favorite" energy
The issue is the jonas brothers are nothing like artists like Taylor swift, who literally continuously built onto their music empire. They had broken up for several years. This is them trying to rekindle what they had before but it just doesn't work that way.
Facts
bc everyone in one direction is doing pretty well for themselves individually in their own right which is why its so tough for them to reunite as quickly (although i want it so bad) bc they each are all doing good on their own so when they come reunite it will be bc they each genuinely want too
They’re doing ok tho. One of the boy bands who actually grew up with their audience and aren’t in it for nostalgia factor.
They copied Taylor’s Eras tour too with their five albums one night tour they’re doing.
@@rhinowings2610 she’s not the first to do that…
They did this on their North American tour as well. They postponed their show in Grand Forks, ND due to “logistical issues” less than a week before the show, then refused to give refunds because the show was going to happen, just at a later date. They eventually completely cancelled and people are still struggling to get refunds let alone the money they’re out for travel, etc. Turns out the “logistical issues” were actually that they got a “better opportunity” that day to play College Gameday instead.
@emilyl7956wow wth is this? They sounds like a bunch of immaturë teenagers.
@emilyl7956 my sister and I had tickets to this show as well! I took time off of work and had to book a hotel, only for them to cancel less than three days before the show. They kept us hanging from Nov to Feb/March before finally deciding not to reschedule at all and I JUST got my refund last week. But the worst part? They literally never said ANYTHING about it anywhere and quietly removed the date/show from their website. I don't know how they will have any fans left after this...
It’s just upsetting they forget their fans are why they are still relevant and famous .
As someone who works in ticketing, I’m almost sure it’s because of the low ticket sales…
Very highly likely
They recently sold out at big US stadiums though. Europe doesn't them as much?
@@LittleMew133I don't think they're popular in Europe... because they got popular due to their Disney TV shows and we didn't get those shows over here for many years.
@@maomi1852 I don’t think the Jonas brothers got popular because of heir Disney show. Their Disney show came later in their Disney career and wasn’t that successful even in the states.
I think Disney marketed them really well back then, (featuring them in Hannah Montana and Camp Rock) and they took off from there.
@@maomi1852 They're popular where I live (France), but I haven't seen anyone excited about their upcoming tour. There was hype around 2019 with their reunion, it had pretty much died down since.
im upset at them bc during their north american tour they randomly cancelled shows and never addressed why. i can’t imagine how the fans feel over an entire leg being rescheduled/cancelled
@@christinab.773 Why are they at ur school?
Well yeah, Joe divorced his wife while she was working in Europe and never told her ahead of time or why. He treats everything that way, including scheduled show.
You should see how a lot of kpop groups are. These days, they travel the whole world and never cancel, even if a member is absent.
Ateez kept touring when jongho had a leg injury and they recorded and co-wrote the crazy form album, seventeen constantly has at least 1 member missing and so many other examples so this is just disappointing. I feel sad for their fans
Literally Shinee lost a whole member and they're still performing as if jonghyun never left 🕊 Alot of american artists can learn from artists all around the world
txt is touring in the us in may so i can’t help but think they may join them at some point because of their collab but it still sucks for ppl who bought tickets
And they have heavy choreography to do too, and if one of the member get a broken arm or ankle they still sit in the chair and perform
skz and purple kiss were seriously some of my fav to see irl. skz was dancing nonstop for the entire show, as was purple kiss. my skz tour date was postponed only because most member got covid, and the only reason i see it as a win was because i got much better seat for half the price.
even when yuki left half of the tour to return to korea for mama 2023 preparation, the girls continued the tour rather than cancelling. i was lucky to see all of them perform together.
Coming from someone who considered herself a Jonas Brothers fan and has seen them live multiple times, this is just the tip of the iceberg. They seem like such sellouts now and their last album felt so disconnected and rushed. The veil is being lifted and I feel like a lot of us are finally seeing that all they care about is money.
Yes rather would save my money for BTS, Stray Kids and ATEEZ. I did buy Jonas bro tickets a couple years ago but plans changed so I sold them . I’m not even a fan anymore tbh . Sad how they’ve changed 😢

Taylor starts her training with 1 hour in the treadmill, just TO START training for the Eras Tour, these guys don't even have choreos or do over the top stuff and are getting too tired. Okay, I just went down a mini rabbit hole and apparently she’s on the treadmill EVERY DAY for 3.5 hours (the entire tour time) and singing every song as she does?! Incredible. I’m trying to work out how many miles that must be, got to be somewhere near a marathon?

This. Taylor, Beyonce, Dua Lipa, and even Doja Cat. The women are giving it their all to fans and people who want a fun night out in town. I have no tolerance for groups with minimal setup who cancel since so many people spend a lot of time, money, and energy to attend them. Last year Green Day canceled their concert in London 4 minutes before the music hall's doors were supposed to open and it's been a consistent problem with them. But watching the arrogance of the Jonas Brother happily announcing that they r cancelling shows due to "exciting projects" is plain rude.
They haven't performed since 2012....if they were expecting a Taylor level comeback they should have given fans more to be exvcited about
They're just performing too often i think. This is their 3rd tour in like 4 years. They came to my small city each tour and most only went to the first or second show because we had already JUST seen them like a year prior. Now I don’t like Taylor, especially after the whole Grammy fiasco, but you can’t say jack shit about her work ethic. Every artist is different when it comes to how they handle their work, but if it’s coming at the expense of the fans who PAY YOUR BILLS, maybe it’s time to do some rethinking
oh yes. Taylor isn't a perfect celebrity by any means (i mean, no one really is) but i've never heard a single word of criticism against her concert/performance work ethic. her Eras Tour has been really impressive for how consistent she's been. the only issue with her concerts seems to have been the ticket prices, but that's on Livenation and its monopoly and not on Taylor herself.

I really miss the gratitude from some celebs. People - who likely didn’t have a ton of money - decided to spend it on you. Maybe even as a special treat. I feel celebs aren’t getting that and that that’s a big deal. They should be excited that fans all over the world will support them, rather than just throw it in their face as if it isn’t a big deal.
they cancelled their Grand Forks, North Dakota show without a word from them 🙄 they decided performing at college game day was more important than playing for fans who were excited to see them
One thing that is messed up is that the date in Oslo Norway is May 18. That is the day after our national day (May 17 is our July 4) which means that getting hotels and flights to the capital is INSANELY expensive. Like its thousands of dollars more than usual, that is if you are early enough to actually get somewhere to stay. The fact that non of that is going to get compensated is insane.
Also, here in Latin America Taylor had to postpone two concerts because of bad weather(heavy rain in Argentina and crazy heat in Brazil) and she still managed to finish that part of the tour as scheduled. She had to work like crazy, had to cancel her plans (apparently she was supposed to go the US to spend thanksgiving with her family and boyfriend and she decided to stay in Brazil to do the show she had to postpone). She is a true professional. The Jonas Brothers are being arrogant and inconsiderate. I hope their fans can get their money back
Not to mention Taylor flew back in forth to see her boyfriend play football and still put on amazing sold out shows, even when she was sick
Yes let’s praise blondie for being a top polluter
Also being a K-pop fan and the dedication these groups have to fans, even going on stage when injured, and this makes me not stand for such disrespect. Not suggesting everyone should perform when injured, but they have no care
And this is exactly why I have NEVER cared about celebrities or artists or any concerts and never wasted my money on any of these concerts for these people who don’t even care.
It's crazy that people like J Lo and the Jonas Brothers are trying to hop on the bandwagon to try and have their own Eras tour when (1) they haven't released music within the past how many years and (2) people spending on an Eras tour ticket will not have money left over to spend it on an overpriced and underwhelming concert
I went to their Melbourne show and a lot of the tik toks posted were misleading imo. A lot of the videos posted were made during the openers, which were on from 6-8PM. By 8pm when they came on, for my show at least, the stadium was pretty packed
They ‘postponed’ their Grand Forks, ND concert LESS THAN 72 HOURS before. People had taken off work and were already traveling to get there. The only announcement came from the venue and ticket master. No explanation or apologies from any of them. The night of the concert they were seen pouring drinks at a JMU college bar and performed at college game day the next day. Traded a scheduled concert to perform three songs on tv. It was said a later date would be announced but the concert/date/city was removed from their website and posters as if it was never there. Two months later the venue said it wouldn’t be rescheduled and they’d be issuing refunds. It’s really sad and shocking how out of touch they are to not see how these decisions effect so many people. Fans taking time off of work, losing money on flights/hotels, venue employees depending on working and getting paid those dates, smaller communities planning on the tourism brought in for the concerts. There’s so much more to these postponements/cancellations they don’t see from their privileged point of view.
Cancelling a whole leg of a tour? They do know people spend money not just on concert tickets. Some go to a different place or city and make accommodations like getting hotels or plane tickets. Also people have jobs, they need to plan and budget when they are taking time off for an event, especially if they are traveling
How can y’all afford tickets for any concerts? I haven’t been to a concert since 2019 because they’ve gotten SO expensive lately.
Anyone I know makes payments on tickets these days
Concerts are the best thing in my life, I ain't giving them up.🤷I just work and save up everything I can.
Luck. Sometimes Ticketmaster just gives face value seats when you are waitlisted for an extended period. Usually happens when you're not even thinking about it any longer. I got off the Eras waitlist for the 2nd night at Levi's assuming they were tickets TM got back from scalpers. 105 dollars total in the upper mezzanine facing the stage.
Also, a lot of people are big spenders and in high-level jobs. Some don't need to budget. I've learned not to downplay how much money someone has to spend on perks, especially being from the Bay Area where cost of living is visibly disproportionate. Some people have no financial issues dropping $2,000+ on concert tickets.
Most of the concerts I've been to have been for smaller artists, so they haven't been super expensive. Outside of Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, the most I've paid for a ticket since the pandemic was $55. The tickets I've most recently bought even have had the ticket fees included automatically since fees have gotten so they are almost half of the price of the ticket. I appreciated that so much since it is easier to budget money for those kind of tickets.
From what I’m reading in the comments alone this seems to be a common theme with them to book tours and shows and then cancel them last minute. It’s sad that all they see tours as is cash grabs from their fans. I mean I’m sure it’s great money and I know as an artist that’s where a HUMONGOUS amount of revenue comes from (especially since people no longer by CDs or have to buy songs from iTunes etc) I mean it’s distasteful to say the least; they’re really just spitting in the faces of their fans in a way.
NO CAUSE IVE NEVER CLICKED SOO FAST
I don’t have tickets to this but for me it’s the lack of apology, the sheer audacity to think they can cancel so soon to dates and also the Latin America see you next week like that’s the nail in the coffin and is so unfair to Europe fans.
I am very sad for Europe!
As a big fan of the Jonas Brothers, I am very upset for the fans of Europe!
I know how some flight companies and hotel companies are either they don’t refund you or give you a credit instead of a refund!
Bro I am so sick of celebrities acting like they're so above their fans. No, fans don't deserve to know everything about celebs or their private life and yes celebrities are human too, but they seriously need to stop treating their fans with such disrespect when they're the reason they're famous in the first place. So sick of these people's egos.
Its sad fan can’t get refunds but at least this is an opportunity for fans to explore the locations that they got flights and hotels for, If they can
When will Jojo siwa “karmas a bitch” drama is gonna be spilled?? Justice for Britt Smith.
They probably don't have as many fans as they thought in Europe lol. Never heard a song by them. Also, starting in Norway the same day as Taylor Swift plays in Sweden was probably a bad move if a lot of their fans are swifties too.
Just remember: whatever this new, exciting project is probably relies on the support from fans whether on social media or financially. So the fact they’re basically spitting in our faces like “yeah, found something else to bring us (your) money but don’t forget to also spend (your) money on this event we’ve moved on a whim!” No apology or anything. Talk about a short-sighted plan
I'm not a huge fan but I have always loved their songs. Which is why this behavior is appalling. And to think how BTS gave multiple free concerts to the Army - a concert where they actually lost money - to cheer everyone up during the lockdown. 🙌🙌🙌
I live in Australia and a girl I follow from Sydney was giving away her tickets to go see them and nobody wanted them. She posted stories over and over, even on the same day! I don’t know if she managed to give them away 🤷🏻♀️ Maybe they overestimated their popularity?
Here in Mexico we are already used to this 😑
There's people that haven't gotten their reimbursement and it also seems like their venues wont be as full as the Happiness begins concert, not to mention that we know that they dont give us the same quality as other countries, they rush through the songs and sometimes even come out to the stage looking upset
Irresponsible people, a year ago RBD a Mexican group did a return tour, in Brasil one of the girls was seriously sick and she continued the concert until five songs before ending and have to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance, thr group did the next concert without her (amazing reaction to the fans btw). The girl just took ONE day off and continued the tour. Thats commitment this guys...no so much
For the crazy price points concerts tickets are selling at nowadays, I can't help but wonder why would anyone pay such price just to see a singer that doesn't really care about their fans wallets or livelihood condition, to sing live let alone booking hotels and flight tickets to get there! Unless you're that desperate, just watch them sing online, at least it won't break your bank in this economy. THINK LOGICALLY, what are those celebrities contributing to your life for you to spend an amount of money that could negatively affect you???
Snoop dog cancelled his Australian leg because he had better things to do 😂😂😂😂😂 it was so bad.
Yea I understand smoking weed and enjoying it is a better thing to do.
I remember their show at the MN state fair caused major issues with us fans too. It was like a couple days before that show, they announced how it would be a much shorter show than all of the others. But it was advertised as a full show the whole time prior. And it was more expensive because you got entry to the state fair with the concert tickets.

The "exciting projects" better be LIFE CHANGING LOL
I don’t know if one of the dates was on July 4th, but they are coming to Utah for the stadium of fire which is a big annual concert here. Wonder if this is one of those “opportunities”
Same in Canada for the stampede, feel like they used it as an excuse to go to places their tickets actually sold
I got a refund out of spite. If they don't care, I won't care either and I'll put my money elsewhere🤷♀️
This is pathetic 😒 the disrespect to their fans. Insane! Speaks volumes to their character. ✌🏻
Wouldn’t it be prudent for the buyers to make sure of cancellation rules when they book? Most places offer full refunds unless it’s 24-48 hours before. Take some self responsibility 🙄
I paid $300 for an Eras Tour ticket plus $100 for a hotel (with friends). If Taylor canceled because she “had another project” I would be CRUSHED.
EDIT: Also, they didn’t stop the tour when Joe and Sophie were separating and going through custody issues which is kind of wild. That would be a legitimate reason… shows what he really cares about🤷🏼♀️
This is why you should never get non refundable flight tickets & hotel bookings. There's always a chance that something gets cancelled, don't waste your money
I feel like this is two things happening at once as someone used to be a fan of theirs when I was a teenager and now as an adult, watching whatever this train wreck is of them trying to make a comeback. It feels like they’re booking on that nostalgia so they’re hoping and praying that a bunch of people who are fans of them before and then newer fans and they’ve gained to a certain degree want to turn out in huge crowd and they’re not for a lot of these concerts. They’re just not being able to sell as much as they wanted to.
I don’t think that they prepared for this at all. As people pointed out even in their US leg of the tour, they were randomly postponing and canceling shows and I genuinely think it’s because they did not prepare for how draining being on torque can be because it’s been a while since any of them were on tour whether we’re talking as solo artist let alone as a band. I do not think that they prepare themselves for how exhausting it was going to be the late nights the long hours the early mornings having to make sure that they’re prepared to actually put on some kind of a performance for everyone of these shows.
The whole other exciting projects just feels like in excuse because I don’t think they would be able to just come out and be like we over estimated how much people would actually want to see us and how draining this would be so we’re going to have to postpone it because we are older adults now and we did not take the precautions to train before we went on tour. I genuinely feel like a lot of celebrities nowadays especially western artist just forget how daunting it can be to be on tour sometimes and that you have to train your body once again to be able to do all those long hours early days late nights and full on performances. Like making sure your stamina is pretty high before you do a tour or a group of concerts is so important and I feel like some people forget that so by the time they’re like halfway through this kind of stuff happens because it’s like they cannot continue on.
Then they should say they are exhausted instead of looking so lively while giving their geat exciting news. Liar Liar Pants are surely now on Fire.
Imagine fighting to book time off work for a concert to get shafted by the artist
The way they happily announced the rescheduled dates like people don't have lives and would be so free to attend at the new dates. And for "new projects" just shows their fans have not been considered in the choice and aren't important in their eyes. They couldn't even make up a proper excuse. If you're gonna reschedule, you should offer refunds to those who want it and apologise sincerely.
Not a fan of the bros and even I feel annoyed - fans must be furious.
They were supposed to do the album concert in North Dakota, but they cancelled bc of booking other dates and said they’d reschedule but never did. We never even got a message from the band or anyone from their management or even any posts on any of their socials.
As a long time fan - this move doesn’t surprise me. It’s not the first nor the last time they completely postpone or cancel something promise. Like the book they were going to release over and over again. It’s just the biggest thing they’ve canceled
I think it’s because the tickets sale isn’t like what they think it would be. I am from Indonesia and their concert turnout here was meh while they used to have massive fanbase here. It was so bad that they offered the VVIP tickets to some people and still no one would take it (at least in the diplo community, prob it’s age thing too cause quite some of them are in their 40s and 50s). I think this has caused them to throw their current tantrum and feel like it’s not worth it to continue playing buddies for the sake of the crowd cause they’re not the megastar they used to be.
This is why I'm Jackson Wang fan, when he needed to cancel a show because he was sick he refund tickets, flights and hotels of people who requested refund.
As someone who does ticketing a mid sized venue, you'd be surprised how late some artists cancel their shows. I remember I walked in for a shift to work an 8pm show, only to find out that the artist cancelled an hour before I got there. I think what is disappointing is the weird video excuse. Illness, visa issues, loss in the family, etc are the typical excused we get for last minute cancellations, but no just that you're working on other things?
Low ticket sales will cause postponement/cancellations but they cannot afford to return the money.
Those Easter sweaters look super-scratchy.
I’m sure they’re cashmere.
But they LOOK super-scratchy, and that’s what counts.
To me. 😂
couldnt take my eyes off them lollll easter vibes
The Jonas brothers ??!! Super random lml
I've always thought of them as spoiled children. Idk why, but for me this impression explains everything
"We cant wait to see you" uhm,, apparently you can tho? 🤨🤨
Bruhhhhhhhhh people were super super upset when Ed Sheeran had to reschedule his concert due to safety issues with the stage. It makes sense in that case, one of the towers holding up one of the jumbo trons shifted a foot over night. The set up basically had all the towers connected in some way. If the tower went down, it could have taken the other ones down with it. It may sound like an exaggeration, but I'm not kidding when I say if those towers went down during the concert, probably several hundred people would have died (6 massive jumbotrons, all of the speakers and lighting for the whole show, the towers were tall enough that they would have landed in the seats, not just the floor ticket areas.) But apologies were made, tickets were easily 100% refundable, the show had an announced rescheduled date within a day, he acknowledged and understood that so many people traveled and had hotels and he seemed to feel very genuinely bad that it happened. Honestly the thing that was the worst parts to me wasn't even his team's fault. The venue did not have a way to communicate with employees, no radios, nothing. My family split into two groups for different seating areas and in both areas we were the people that told security and the people around us that the show was cancelled, which we saw on Instagram. They had radios and the staff was better coordinated when we went for the return show a month and a half later. The stadium is relatively new so they did not have protocols for anything like that happening. They also wouldn't open the doors for over an hour since they were trying to fix the stage, but it was Las Vegas, it was over 100 degrees, people were at medic tents, some abulances had to be called, it was a disaster. Delays for doors opening announced on Instagram ended up getting enough comments on it about people passing out in the crowd that either the venue or Ed's team had the doors opened, thankfully. My mom ended up in the medic tent from the heat. When we returned, they also had a lot more water stations available outside of the venue. Anyways, kind of a long tangent there.
It makes me so mad that they are intentionally doing this. I understand things happen, but there wasn't even a sorry. How do you pull something like that and not even say sorry????? Like I profusely apologize for running into someone, I don't know if saying sorry for the next 30 years would be enough for me to stop saying it. It is just so rude the way that they are handling this.
if i remember correctly Ed came out and apologized to people in person and took photos with some of them
@@afterglxw4808 I think I heard about that, thanks for sharing that!
