For June 2022, Kimberly showed how to make Paper Beads.
Below is a list of supplies needed to follow along with Kimberly in the video:
Plain Paper
Decorative scrapbook paper
Piece of Styrofoam (to place sticks in while beads dry.)
Glue Stick and/or Mod Podge
Paint Brush (cheap & disposable for use with mod podge.)
Straws or chopsticks, (or similar, to wrap beads on.)
Markers (a black one, then colors if you wish to make your own patterns)
Ruler
Pencil
Scissors
Excellent because you are so thorough and clear. Best tutorial of this kind ever!! Thank you.
This is a tremendous tutorial! Best I have seen. Thank you so much!
I bought a box of assorted cotter pins up to 7.5 centimetres long and made a range of rollers by using old biros and inserting the pins through the hole where the ink insert used to go. I then filled the end of the pen with a glue gun. These make great, cheap and permanent rollers.
I did too! I love to use sharpie markers (when the ink runs out)
Yours is the best presentation I have seen for bead making. Your work is beautiful. I will be following your directions. Thanks ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊
Awesome,love the pillow bead,so cute!
First tutorial in a very, very long time where I stayed right to the end! Well presented and explained, brilliant! Thank you!
Love 🥰 all the styles. Some bead crafters when using white paper color the edges of the paper on both sides and only paint about 2 inches on the top only. That's the only showing part.🎉. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for this video, yes paper bead making is lots of fun, hey as you were going thru some of your scrap papers where you just swipe the paint brushes onto them, well that colored scrap paper you showed with the smaller multi bluish colors of all blues & some aqua, it was done so nicely, that it would look fantastic in a frame to hang onto the wall & I'm not kidding.
Thanks for all the good & thorough detail. Lots of the papers you mention would not normally occur to folk to use for crafting, so thanks!
Adorable the way you keep calling it "ModgePodge"! I may start calling it that now, myself! 😊👍🏽
Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial on the different ways to roll paper beads. I learned a lot and the pace of the tutorial was perfect for a beginner like me. I look forward trying some of your tips. I share your passion for crafting too. As I watched your tutorial I worked on my cloth dolls. 😘

Cotter pin placed in the end of a large paper bead (3/4") and glue gun to fill end and secure.. of course different sizes will make a different size bead hole

Love It 🤩 thanks for sharing ❤
Hello, it's the first time I see your channel and I loved it. I like to create with what I have at hand, my tools, so I thought of something very simple; in the tool with the metal clip wire that you taught us to make and you mention, that you cannot keep the rods together, what would happen if you put another roll of paper (removable) like the one that contains the fixed rods at the opposite side, only so that they do not open..., the function and the way of making the rolls will be the same...
Thaks a lot for teaching us.
Would love to see some finished projects made with your beads.
Well-done for the lesson iv really learnt alot
Smart bead roller tips❤️💯
Thanks for share 👍✅🙋♀️🌿💐
Best information on paper beads for tips on so many ideas. Very inspirational. I will be looking for more of your vids. T.Y. 👏👏👏🌞
Personally, since i hold the bead in my left as i roll, i wind the left most side up first. The other two sides just whip around freely without tangling me up.

Papel colgante
Hi, is there a place to get the template for the beads that were made?? I looked thru resources, could not find. I love how Kimberly explains how to make the beads.
great video...thanks. I couldn't find the link for the cutting pattern for the different shaped beads..is it still available? Thanks again
Did you make your pendant?
Yes I did!
Where do you get "your" paper?
It’s Mod Podge not Modge Podge.
I ALWAYS say it wrong!!😂
Truthfully I don’t know why it matters, but for some reason every time I hear it, i cringe. I’m sorry. I guess it’s my OCD coming out.
Kim some people just cannot be happy with what you have to offer they just cannot be pleased 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉kk nz kia ora
Question good explanations and showing different beads but I did not see you cutting the paper and rolling saucer beads. That is the one I wanted to see and you didn't do it.
The best saucer beads I've done were 3 or 5 same size papers rolled at once. Stack them, roll them...the ends will be different lengths because the outer most paper wraps a larger circumference but you can just cut the other tips shorter if you like.
Just so you know...I can no longer toss paper scraps 😅
Most of this is really good and helpful, but i couldn't listen to her say modge podge a thousand times, so i had to leave in the Middle.
To much of talk of paper
